Great place to hang out and play Magic The Gathering. They have drafts every Friday night at 7:00PM. Ive been coming here the past few months and its been a lot of fun. The owners and guests are all very welcoming.

Great place to game and talk about any sort of game. The owner is really friendly and helpful. The event this weekend was hosted off site from the store itself. I asked the owner about some movement bases if he had them at the tournament hall and he said no however he went and took the time to run to his store and bring me a bunch of them helping me out for the event greatly! The red barn events are always fun and full of great people. Highly recommend

Family friendly environment. Great owners and very knowledgeable. Lots of options for everyone and loads of space to have fun as a family. It you need something in the gaming world of minis, books, dice, etc they can get it for you.

So after heading down to SC from TN to participate in the barnyard brawl I decided to take a trip to The Red Barn just to see what it was all about. And when I walked in I was blown away. This place is incredible! Everywhere you look there is something for everyone! The staff and people there were courteous and made sure everything went smoothly. This place is amazing and I will definitely be returning as soon as I can!

A great place. The only thing keeping them from 5 stars is they neeed more space. It can feel cramped. But there is a nice relaxing lounge area with couches if you want to spread out. And they have done a good job fitting their wide selection into such a limited area. Definitely check them out if you are interested in gaming, comics, etc..

Went in here the first time with some friends and it was better than expected! For $5 we got access to the game library and also got to pick out a beverage.The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I got a delicious chocolate raspberry coffee and we played board games for 3 hours. The seating was comfortable and we had no problem finding a table and playing without interruption. There was a group playing DnD in the back room and some other guys playing at another table. I loved the chill, laid back environment. There is a great board game selection and the opportunity to play them without buying them first is very cool. I definitely plan on going back here.

I love that when needed Ive been able to bring my dogs and my infant son, and they are accepted like family by everybody there. Great environment for gaming and get togethers.

The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. They encourage a friendly atmosphere where it is easy to learn and run amazing tournaments. They cater to all ages and we were fortunate enough to meet their adorable, friendly, and very loving dog, Odin. Odin made the experience that much more enjoyable and I cant wait to be back shopping and playing at Red Barn!!!@ keep up the great work!

Went here for the first time today and loved it! They have lots of different tabletop games and the food and coffee was really good! I especially love that they have a fair bit of used books which are for sale at half of the retail price and the book selection is awesome as well!

Red Barn is so much more than a simple game store; its a hotbed for tabletop entertainment complete with a cafe and separate rooms for private gaming experiences. The owners and staff are cordial, patient, and accommodating of all orderly individuals seeking a conductive environment to enjoy their hobbies in. I feel fortunate for having the Red Barn as my local go-to location for indoor recreation and would recommend it over any other.

Super cool place. Tabletop inventory and library still growing,would love to see it grow. Lots of store real estate dedicated to Warhammer-style stuff. Good comfortable seating arrangements. Owner is a great guy. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent fencing academy

Well, my husband and I heard a lot of really good things about this place and were really excited to go there. We walked in and one person, who we couldnt see as the counter was blocked by a shelf, asked if we needed help finding anything. We told him no thank you, we were just looking at Magic Cards. Everything was fine until we wanted to make our purchase and leave. You cant tell who works there, and who doesnt. Every single person was sitting down playing a game. Which is fine, if you wanna pay your employees to play games all day, whatever. But maybe when there is customers in the store browsing, it would be wise to have someone at the register. My husband asked someone who we thought worked there and he was kind enough to point us to someone in a yellow shirt. There was only one person in a yellow shirt and he was playing magic with someone. So I went up to him and he ignored us until I politely said Excuse me, do you work here? To which he replied Yes. The gentleman he was playing with said Go ahead, man. Do your thing. Ill wait. I told the guy that my husband just wanted some magic cards. He said, yeah. Sure. I walked back to where the cards were and waited. A different gentleman started walking over towards us while the man in the yellow said, I mean, I work here but Im not on the clock. The other guy checked us out and we left. At no point did we feel welcome into this store. We will more than likely try again at some point, but there was no reason for this to be our first interaction at this establishment. It was very unprofessional and rude.

A wonderful place to hang out. Played a D&D game here and had a great time. Very affordable also.

Small and cluttered, difficult to maneuver through the store. Both managers have a bad attitude in general. I was there for an event hosted that was geared towards children, though I didn’t have kids with me I watched as the owners both repeatedly yelled at several people’s children for matters of unimportance ( no kids were being destructive or malicious in any way) definitely not a welcoming environment unless you’re an over 35 gamer with no social life.

Had a great time here. Friendly staff, great gaming atmosphere and so many books i want to buy.

Has the best 40K atmosphere tournaments inventory and major events a real bonus to the 40K Community I absolutely love this place

Update since I couldnt respond: My children have never done the things you have stated. You have policies that if things are broken we would be charged and yet you didnt charges us? My kids only played with the open chess game or on dad phone if they dont play. Thrown air freshener, really? When asking my kids this (Yes you can see it as bias if you want) They said Wow they really do hate us dont they. How sad you made children feel so hated. We dont go there for your facilities, we go there for the events that happens to be held there and never once {Which they go to otherers weekly) have they ever had any issues in the 2 years since they started gaming. I mean at any issues at all, no other events at other facilities except yours. Never one complaint. Your husband racially profiled my family. And you just demeaned children and called my husband cheap? Is that racially profiling as well? I am not the only one LIESEL (Of course I know your names) that has complained about how you and ALAN have treat specifically the kids that go here. 90% of your complaints are about your treatment of the kids and your husband disturbing treatment of people. You are reaching with the slander against children. I work, however Ive had numerous conversations with you regard your move to SC. How you hated your previous cheap landlords at the other facility, etc...I have you on video as you have a lovely conversation with me after Alan told my husband my children and they were banned. Even where he stated he gets more attention than these people deserve. There are numerous witnesses at the event that Alan handled that badly and didnt even discuss the incident regarding the dog had poor Jeff do it which I was leaving his name out of it but since you confirmed that he was the one that told my husband so Alan didnt have to look like the guilty party. Poor Jeff being put in that situation. Also by the way if my husbands bought the cupcake ODIN tried to eat and ask if you can get him, thats not my daughter aggravating the dog. She bawled her eyes out because she wanted to tell Alan she was sorry but she only wanted to eat her cupcake. How cruel how disconcerting. Alan doesnt like to put up the dog up even if people are eating. Your employees words not mine. We came to you out of respect and you treated my family like they were monsters. The BBB has the facts they cant shut you down but people should know. And Im not the only one. Im pretty sure you have more nasty things to say. Instead of true customer service and customer recovery. But thats not who you are. Youve proven with your own response that your about getting even and not rectifying situations. I bless your business and hope this is a teaching tool for you. It was for my family. Good Day.

Very accommodating atmosphere for two noobs. The staff and other patrons were welcoming and friendly.

A quirky and amazing spot to buy and play board games, hang out with friends and even catch a sci fi movie on the screen. You can learn how to play board games here, just pick up any game in their library and sit down to play in the store.

A business that is unhealthy and not child friendly. I visited the business twice thinking the first was just a bad day. The language that was within earshot of my 10 yr old was inappropriate.The dog that has free roam of shop that serves coffee and food made me wonder why staff wasn’t washing their hands before service. They promote Waffle and Warhammer where owner mixes, pours waffles and syrup into cups. Health code such be checked.The clutter made it difficult to navigate through the shop. The owner Alan Blakeborough I found to be rude and critical of customers and other businesses in local communitie. Quick to anger I believe that he has some anger control issues. After reading a few other negative reviews it’s clear that they are not open to criticism in their response.I will not be returning to this negative atmosphere and will gladly take my business elsewhere.Post Response:Interesting response to criticism.

Seems to lack focus a little bit as a store... Not sure if they are a gaming store, gift shop, bookstore or coffee shop... They do seem to be developing a vibrant local table top and card gaming community which we definitely needed on this side of town so I wish them godspeed in possibly the worst location in Greenville...
