Purple Heart Membership. We fought so hard to have open carry in our State. And we have employees who would rather sacrifice our liberties for their safety. So they are against open carrying inside the building but allow their employees to open carry. They dont trust us to open carry. Ergo, I dont trust them to open carry. They will obviously claim that having a loaded weapon behind the firing line is the reason. But that is immediately contradicted via an employee open carrying through out the whole store. This is where it starts folks. A business takes away our freedoms that we fought so hard for and then the next business will do it. I for one will stand on my rights and not fight the employees because they are scared of open carry. It is obvious they are scared of their patrons. Good luck with your business bud.

I recently purchased a home in the area and started frequenting here for just a couple months but the staff is AMAZING! Many of the staff already know me and are ALWAYS helpful and friendly. I have personal experience with Eddie, Jessica an JR and am always treated like Ive been coming in for years and never treated like a beginner even though I am one. All 3 of the staff members I mentioned have all gone above and beyond with their customer service and I will be a long time customer and soon to be member for a very as long as I am still living! Top notch practice facility.

Mixed service. Took a shield 9mm slide in to have sights installed and the gunsmith snapped off the front and I had to figure it out by coming in and figuring it out myself. No phone call saying that they broke it or anything. Instead of just ordering a new sight set on amazon like I did originally, they sought to find the easiest and cheapest way for them to fix it by just getting a front sight. I feel like they were not concerned with customer service at this time and more worried about there own money. This is also over a 3 month time frame as well. Prior to this, I took in a slide for an exact same gun and they installed the sights within 30 mins without an issue. Just don’t understand it.

I ordered a firearm and was given the run around from day 1. They quickly took my money but provided no service what-so-ever. We called several times to check the status of the order and were given blanket statements without even knowing who we were or what we ordered. The first time we called they said maybe 2 weeks they didnt know. They said they would do some research and call us back. They never called back and when I called back the story changed. They then told us itll be a month. I canceled my my order and requested a refund. I do not recommend ever making a purchase here.

We initially went to Sharpshooters because of mostly the good reviews. My biggest regret was spending almost $100 here and I hated it. We were also there for the first time and it seemed as if the staff were more helpful towards other first time guest. We did let them know that. We understand that ammunition is low! We get it and we understand. We were rudely told this several times and yelled at during one point. My husband was under the impression that he bought hollow point bullets and they were not hollow points at all. We spent almost $40 on bullets that were not even what they told us they would be! I was there to practice since I’ve applied for my CPW. I will not be back but I do wish this business the best of luck.

This is the best range around. The employees have always been helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I have visited several of the gun ranges in the area and by far choose this range. The prices are more affordable than many, the people seem to enjoy being there and I cant express enough how helpful they have always been. Ladies day is on Thursdays and I hate to miss that but I can say its still very reasonable during the week too. I recommend this range by a long shot.

The employees here are so nice and friendly, when you ask questions theyre more than happy to help and educate and not make you feel ignorant. Mr being a woman, I highly appreciated that! They were respectful to my uncle (wounded warrior), and to me. Very nice range, 2 bays, and several rows in each bay! Very well taken care of and VERY nice selection of merchandise!

The range is very clean and very nice! Loved the shooting experience just did not like the attitude of the front desk clerk for the range. He was very sarcastic and rude to my friend that has autism and it will take a lot for us to come back again. Every other staff member was very nice and helpful.

Really awesome range with great staff. Very friendly and helpful. We went for women’s night on Thursday (women get free range time). Never will I ever go back here. I picked this place because the reviews were decent. I gave it 1 star because I had to. Otherwise I’d give it 0 stars.First time going here and the service was terrible. Staff was rude!! They didn’t acknowledge us when we walked in and when they did finally ask if we needed help, they were extremely rude, so we left!!

I had looked forward to visiting and purchasing a pistol and rifle from Sharpshooters for a while, but after visiting and being completely ignored by multiple staff members on 9/18, I took my business to Palmetto State Armory on Woodruff. They welcomed me as soon as I entered the store and were grateful for my over $2000 purchase....

Staff was SUPER nice. We will definitely be back! Will never go to palmetto state armory again lol.

This is a fun safe place to shoot whether you are a beginner or expert. If you are not sure if you would like shooting as a fun sport. Just go there they have wonderful instructors who can teach you all the safe and fun things about shooting. You can enjoy your time with your whole family.

Staff is extremely rude & unprofessional. Upon entry the staffs attitude were more What do you want? Instead of what can they do to help. The attitude of the female employee was very hostile. I understand they have rules but belittling someone is not the way to go about it. I wont be coming back to this range ever again.

These are folks who truly care, but arent too much in your business. If you need help, they step up and caring provide as much as you need. My first visit was to get help with changing my sights on the personal carry piece. The gunsmith willingly took my gun, and returned later with the job done. The price was more than reasonable. They could have asked for much more, but were willing to help out.The shooting range is well maintained, modern, well lit. You have an excellent choice of targets as prices that seem to be at cost.Check them out. Youll be glad you did.

I registered online to take the course. There were several locations to take the class, but I had heard the ads for Sharp Shooters so I scheduled it there. The class was very thorough and informative. After the class finished I was able to enjoy the lodge style facility. The technician helped me sight in my scope and I had a blast at the indoor range! Great service! Great environment!

Always a friendly and knowledgeable staff that takes the time to talk and explain almost anything you have questions about, even if youre not currently in the position or willing to buy something. I always enjoy stopping in to see the latest products, and speak to the staff. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I will NEVER EVER go back to the large corporations retail stores because they treat you like a number. At sharpshooters they treat you like FAMILY! My experience has been exceptional every time. I really couldnt ask for more.The staff is very friendly and anxious to help, which is a huge step beyond most stuffy gun stores and public shooting ranges. You feel very welcome when you enter the door and that doesnt change if youre just there for some range time, a small firearm accessory or indeed wish to purchase a new gun of some sort. The vibe is casual but professional, the store operates efficiently but without losing its hospitality.The stores inventory is great from long guns to pistols. I had no problems getting assistance when I needed it. The staff were happy to answer questions as well as let me hold and examine anything I wanted. They also offered me prices that were more than fair on their used inventory (a big plus for avid shooters!).The range itself is top notch. I dont ever mind paying for time if the environment is clean and dry, the air is clear and the stalls are spacious, which is what you get with Sharpshooters. Things can get a little busy on weekends but there are usually 12-15 stalls so waiting time is always minimal if at all required. Its a well-run place that gives off a professional but respectful vibe and as I said, the staff Ive seen are by and large quite friendly and usually on-task.I hope the store is turning a good profit and that the ownership and management doesnt change, because this is a great, very welcoming spot to all shooters, from beginner to advanced.

This is a pretty good place to shoot. Most of the staff is fairly friendly and the range price is competitive with some of the other places in the area. I prefer the great guys at City Arsenal. Skip and Dave at City Arsenal are two of the greatest guys in the business and both of them have more information on firearms, ammunition, and the associated laws than anyone else Ive ever met. That doesnt take away from the range at Sharpshooters. Ive been here several times and Id be happy to go again.

In my opinion Sharpshooters is an excellent, professionally run facility. I have belonged to other private ranges and utilized public ranges, but Sharpshooters is the best I have ever utilized. Whether using the gun range, purchasing weapons & equipment or obtaining a membership, the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Prices are great as far as I am concerned. The facility appearance and atmosphere is pleasing. I recommend it to friends on a regular basis and in the case of a couple that have been using a competitor I gave them a gift card for Sharpshooters.

Very knowledgeable staff, great selection of firearms and accessories. Extremely safe environment to shoot, with safety the main priority of those who work there. The range and classes offered makes each trip enjoyable from the novice to the expert!

I found the course (aside from the required legal) to be well taught, informative and captivating. However, I wasnt informed as a disabled vet that having the state fees forgiven required a letter of disability from the VA included with the application. It was a shock when the application was returned by the State for not having the required paperwork completed. A heads up at the registration for the course would have been appropriate, so that it could be presented at the completion of the legals.

Ordered a limited edition matching Thompson 45 set. As usual the employees were very helpful from the start to the finish of the ordering process. It was not something you can walk in and buy over the counter. I absolutely enjoy hanging out and talking to the folks there at sharpshooters. Besides the fact of spending a little time in the indoor range! I will be back soon!

I can not recall the name of the older gentleman who assisted me, but he was very humorous and knowledgeable. Ive bought guns at other big gun stores locally, and the customer service was atrocious. The customer service at Sharpshooters was beyond excellent. Perfect gun buying experience.

The experience of the shooting lane was fun. But only problem was when my cousin, brother and I first entered with the two pistols unloaded, one of the staff came up to us and disrespected my cousin on his knowledge of firearms. Now this was our FIRST TIME going into a public range, so we three didn’t have all to much knowledge on there rules. I’m the type of person to respect public rules especially when it comes down to weapons. There prices aren’t to bad, but I shouldn’t be greeted like the way I was when we entered. Woulda gave 4 stars if that one guy didn’t offend my cousin, another one kinda offended my brothers team. The customer needs respect, were the ones paying to use your lanes.

Safe environment, friendly, reputable staff, questionable integrity. Ive been a customer/member ~1.5 years and have traded and bought from them. I spoke at length about their consignment process and determined that I wanted $575 for a gun easily worth more. I was explicitly told that they will only make $25 from my sale, will list it for $600, and wont go below without my approval. Based on the paperwork I signed and discussions I had, I purposely listed the gun cheaper to sell quickly, but Sharpshooters decided to take advantage of me signing to accept less by listing the gun for $700. Basically we all knew it was worth more than I wanted and they sneakily tried to keep the icing on the cake for themselves even though it was against what we agreed to. Had I known this, I wouldve signed stating I expected $650 from the sale. Its chump change and the dollar amount isnt my concern, but their actions were shady. I can sell it for $575 cash any day, but chose to use them to avoid the hassle while selling it quickly. I understand that they need to make money… but they shouldve done it honestly and priced their commission at a percentage of the sale instead of lying to me. This was probably the action of one individual, but a manager-level or equivalent was required for this transaction so (to me) its more representative of their style of business.Prior to this experience I always boasted about them and chose to pay slightly more if necessary to support their business. After this, Sharpshooters is going to have to compete straight-up on price for my money.I will continue to recommend their range due to their level of safety and comfort, but Im recommending to treat them like any big box retailer for purchases. I no longer feel like Im a member of anything special.

Had a very good 1st experience at Sharpshooters. It was a Saturday afternoon and the range was not busy, it had a couple of bursts of busy, but not many people stayed longer than 30 minutes or so. The counter was pretty steady with 1 attendant, he said they normally have 2 covering the counter with rentals and range use. The store was very very nice, almost like a hunt club cabin feel. They have a lot of good basic supplies and a good assortment of guns and accessories. I will be back and often I hope. It is a little bit of a drive, but worth it for the AC...which by the way, even with outdoor Temps 95+ it was still fairly comfortable in the range. Well see if they move to a 5 after the next visit with more people supporting the counter and the store area.

Me and my daughter had a great time out there for Ladies day Thursday. This is our one stop now for training and range shooting. Staff is friendly and helpful. I got my Utah permit there because it fit my schedule and have been back many times, even though I live closer to another range. Safe clean and staff really seems to like working there.

Very, very good. I like how the gear is aimed more for the AR enthusiast as well. Like the plate carriers and such. Like the staff mostly. Ive been very pleased. I drive past 2 other ranges both bigger to come here. Its that good to me.

Sharpshooters is very welcoming. The staff are always eager to help, answer questions, give advice, and have never been snooty or condescending for someone new to firearms. The staff know their stuff or they will be quick to say I dont know or Im not sure. The gunsmith there is fantastic. As a member, I love being able to walk in with my gear (gun, ammo, target, etc), sign in, and hit the range with nothing out of my wallet. I just wish I had time to visit more often. Its one of my favorite places.

Visited Sharpshooters to renew my membership which had expired and to spend some time on the range. Staff to renew membership were busy so I was advised to go ahead and spend time on the range as a member and that I could follow up with the renewal afterwards. Staff made it clear that its all about the experience of the customer that matters. As always the range time was excellent, access processing was quick, the shooting experience pleasurable, and the range is a well maintained facility. I routinely recommend this range to friends and family because of the continued positive experience
