We are so happy and excited about our pool. It turned out way better than we ever imagined. Zach, Jake, Stuart, and all the staff weve dealt with have been great. Zach was our project manager and was very responsive and kept us informed of scheduling and next steps. We had an issue with our liner not fitting but Hot Springs came up with a solution so that we could swim and enjoy the pool until our other liner was made. Although we needed to wait for nearly 10 months for our hot tub, it was well worth the wait! It gave us plenty of time to prepare for the install. Now that its here, we are enjoying every minute of it. Our HotSprings spa was a great purchase!

If we ever build a pool again, we will go with Hot Springs again, I recommend working with this team. Everyone we met was pleasant and went above and beyond what they had to do, whether they worked directly for Hot Springs or contracted for them. I value customer service and they presented it time and time again. I will admit, there were times where I wish communication was a little better, if I only gave four out of five stars on anything it would be that, and it would probably be 4.5. We asked a ton of questions, and they gave input and reasons. They worked with us, when we suddenly had to build a retaining wall and move a drainage system we had just built. They came back to move dirt when it was placed in the way of the fence being built. They went above and beyond several times for us and made building an L-shaped 30x40 pool easy. Side note, we were clear to start construction from our lender in March, the pool was dug in June, and finished in August, so about 5 months give or take. I just knew ‘COVID’ was causing most of the delays, as they can’t build a pool if they can’t get the supply’s sent to them from other companies, so I didn’t keep asking for updates on that all the time.Stuart, Zach, Jake, I thank you, and everyone on your team!

If you are like me, you have heard horror stories about pool builders and pool maintenance companies and did not know where to start when it came to finding a company to take care of your needs. I spent hours and hours doing research and reading reviews. After lots of research and phone calls, I landed with Hot Springs. Im so glad I did!My first contact was with Jake, who was very professional, courteous, kind, and knowledgeable. An appointment to come and look at the pool liner was set up and Richard and Justin continued the professional and personable demeanor that Jake had started. We were able to talk about the various concerns I had about replacing the liner on my pool and they had very helpful insight as we went along.After the liner was replaced, I noticed a few inconsistencies that seemed to indicate a less-than-smooth vermiculite flooring under the liner. They guys immediately wanted to come and take a look to address my concerns. Upon confirmation, the Hot Springs crew told me that they would take care of everything at no further cost to me. Doing the job right and keeping me as a customer was a top priority for them. This is the kind of company you want to deal with as you build/repair/maintain your pool.So, dont look any further - Hot Springs Pool and Spa is an honest company. After 15 years of struggling with quality service from a competitor, we switched to Hot Springs for a vinyl liner replacement and other maintenance to our existing pool. Ive had multiple great experiences with Hot Springs. From being greeted when walking in the door until the job was complete I was made to feel like their top customer. Jake and his team replaced my pool liner and pool light flawlessly. Hot Springs Pools recently replaced our inground 18x36 foot pool liner. Jake, Randy, and Richard were all very helpful. The pool is over thirty years old. We are happy with the results for our new liner. Richard was especially helpful as our liner required some “tweaking” after installation. Richard came back and did some custom fitting of the liner. My experience with Hot Springs for pool construction was extremely positive. I recommend them to anyone interested in a new pool.Kim was great to work with during the quoting phase. I probably asked her for 50 different quote iterations, and she always delivered.My project manager Dave was great to work with throughout the entire project. He was very helpful during planning and design. He made several great recommendations to save me money. He was extremely responsive and flexible during construction. We had a few different contractors working on the project, and success required a lot of coordination. Dave did a great job coordinating with me and the other contractors. We experienced a few delays due to challenges with one of the other contractors and I had to ask Dave to delay until the other contractor completed their tasks. When we were ready to start up again, Dave had the crew here the very next day to keep things moving for us. A year after completion, I still reach out to him with questions and he always responds.Last but not least Jackie. Jackie is the man. My yard presented unique challenges, and Jackie went above and beyond during the dig and grading and set everything up perfect. He was really committed to the project and getting things done right.One final comment to anyone looking to put in a pool. I looked at several different companies and read a lot of reviews. It is very important to be proactive throughout the project. Communicate with your PM regularly (Itexted with Dave almost every morning during the project). You are not their only project and the folks who communicate, stay on top of their project and know whats going on will enjoy the process a lot more.

We purchased a new hot tub from Hot Springs back in 2018 and had a bit of a tricky install due to the location we wanted it in. The salesman we worked with was very friendly, not pushy at all, and took good care of us. The install team was very careful not to damage anything and managed to get the hot tub installed through an opening with 1/8 clearance about 10 in the air. The hot tub has been very reliable, but in the two instances that we did need service, Nate and the service team were extremely fast and professional. I highly recommend Hot Springs Pools and Spas.

Doc Marten is the man! So knowledgeable, patient, really provides an excellent educational component to allow a buyer to feel confident in their purchase - especially for a large-ticket item like this. He provided no pressure at all, but my husband & I knew he was the one we were going to give our business to - and we did.

While watching next door neighbors house In shower, Justin arrived to replace pool liner and was quick to act noticing water coming out of house. When water was turned on at the meter, unbeknownst to anyone the previous owner had failed to cap the water lines inside after demolition of kitchen and baths….. Due to Justin’s and Richard’s quick action, while there was damage it was minimal. They are to be commended, they are most courteous, efficient and performed quality work!

Richard came and measured our liner and sold us a new liner. He was very Professional and knowledgeable and did the install himself. Then came back and sold us a new cleaner. I highly recommend Hot Springs and most definitely recommend Richard.... 5 stars

We purchased a spa from Hot Springs last year and they were wonderful. Angie is great and always available to help and answer any questions we might have.

Richard was working on a pool at an unoccupied house next door, that recently was sold. Richard heard the smoke alarm go off inside the house and noticed the basement was flooding! The ceiling had collapsed due to water damage from bathroom above & smoke alarm fell!! He contacted the home owners who were unable to get to the house for another 30 minutes. I had a key to the house and they discovered the previous homeowner (who had done the demolition of the kitchen & bathrooms himself) had NOT capped off the water lines and also the ice maker line!!! So when the Hot Springs team turned on the water to begin filling the pool after putting a new liner in….water was everywhere! They went the extra mile cleaned up the water and capped all lines so the water could be turned back on, to resume filling the pool. If not for Richard and for his astuteness and quick action, the damage would have been extensive! He and his team were efficient, polite and professional.Michelle M

Our pool had fallen into a state of disrepair and we ignored it for a few years. Several pool companies refused to help as it is a large pool (25 x 50) and needed new liner and filter.Hot Springs of Greenville, SC sent Jake to assess. He accepted the task. He and his crew with help from the Asheville Hot Springs crew cleaned the pool. They removed the old liner and repaired the bottom. Worst customer service/communication I have ever dealt with. We started our process back in December..digging for our pool started in February. Everything was going smoothly until it became time to install our pool liner. The wrong size liner was installed..hot springs claim that the manufacturer made the liner wrong and they had to come take it out and send it back. We were told one day our new pool liner was in production then told the next week that our order had just been submitted which made no sense. We’ve been told so many different things and nobody has kept us updated on what is going on. I feel like they just tell you something to get you off their back for a few weeks. We were also told our pool should be completed between the end of April/beginning of May..here we are going into June and our pool is still not complete. We have been very disappointed with the lack of costumer service and communication.

When we started the process we interviewed several companies, another company wouldnt speak with us until we paid them a design fee, but Hot Springs was open, helpful and professional! I have dealt with this company for 20 years and will not go anywhere else. They have been fair in their assessment of my maintenance issues on my pool and hot tub. The service guys have always been courteous and patient when trying to explain things to me. Angie is the only one I trust with my water tests. She doesn’t try to up sell me - she only tells me what I need to get my water right!! I never have to worry about what my water chemistry.

I could not be more disappointed. Six years ago we contracted Hot Springs to install our in ground custom swimming pool. Within 5 years all of the tiles surrounding the spa and spill over had fallen off as well as many tiles surrounding the perimeter of the pool. After contacting Hot Springs over 15 times and begging for help to repair the pool tiles at our own expense we were never given a call back. We were told someone would call us back and NO one ever assisted or called us back. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced.They are happy to take your money to install but after poor installation good luck getting them to return and fix their mistakes even if you are will to pay to get repairs.I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!!!!Sarah and Kevin Mcentire

With the amount of knowledge the sales people have and using the Internet to send text messages and pictures of the hot tub I purchased, I was able to feel very confident about purchasing something without feeling like I had to come see it. After studying online about my purchase I had questions which were properly answered. I also was thinking about buying some extras that were online or that they sold them selves and was given The pros and cons about each. Went today to buy chlorine tablets. Lady who is usually at desk was eating lunch and very cordial. Another person came to assist me and his attitude was as if I was borhering himHe had longish dark hair and gray shirt about 6 ft 1. Asked him how many tabs were in 50lb container and he didnt answer. Then asked how many of 1 inch tabs were in small container and he just kind of shook his head. I paid for one inch tabs and had my hand out so he could give me my credit card back and he tossed it and receipt on counter, muted thank you and turned and left. I think the lady there was embarrassed. I will be back but hope she waits on me and not someone with an attitude.

This pool company is the best. They listen to what your expectations are. The quality of materials used is excellent. They put in what they would install for themselves. Erik is amazing. While digging our pool it was the rainy season. His crews worked everyday possible. Their work was amazing. Each different crew had people who had been working for years and knew exactly what they were doing. Incredible craftsmen. Our pool is beautiful. We have had questions about the hot tub and Erik calls me back immediately and sends someone out if needed. We have never had a hot tub before and Erik is very patient explaining it to us. First of all, HSP&S provided us an extended period of time to select the Spa that best fit our situation, both in features, size and cost. They listened to our situation several times and gave us the details and outcome expectations to best serve our final decision. In summary, we ended up with a perfect spa, one that fits our porch perfectly and provides and outstanding level of therapy given our active life style. I definitely would not recommend Hot Springs and honestly do not understand all the positive reviews. From the day we signed a contract and paid a down payment for them to build a pool they have been a nightmare to communicate with. They wont answer phone calls or return emails for weeks. They broke ground on our pool on September 8th, but have barely done anything since then. They wont show up for weeks at a time until we get through to someone at hot springs and complain. Then theyll send someone for a few hours to work, and barely get anything done. Today is October 27th, 8 weeks after they broke ground and 7 MONTHS after we started the process of building a pool, and my backyard is still a mountain of dirt and a huge hole with a pool frame in it.

The review below must be posted by friends of the company. I don’t know who Chris is but Dave is our project manager and Robby his boss refuses to return our phone calls. I would direct you to the reviews posted on Yelp for a more accurate picture of the type of service this company provides. I plan on posting a detailed review. with photos if this company does not “make things right” as they promised.*** Robbie continues to not return our calls. It is August 18th and we have been dealing with issues since we contracted in April and was told by salesman Stuart that the pool would be completed in 6 weeks. To use an analogy the Riggs brothers would understand. It’s the 4th quarter, you have no more time outs, and haven’t scored. Time to bring in Tom Brady!

Excellent product knowledge. Took the time to explain All the features and different options between the tubs. Delivery and setup was perfect and on-time. Even had an issue a few hours after delivery and they immediately came out and fixed the situation. Excellent customer service!

We just purchased and took delivery of a new hot tub and worked with Doc. He is beyond kind, professional and knowledgeable about every detail of our hot tub, quality, use and maintenance. I believe your response to my post is disingenuous. If you to speak to me or my husband you could have easily identified us and called to talk and apologize. I would have told you that signing a contract in April with a 6 to 8 week completion promise and not having the pool completed until August was unacceptabe and outlined the errors that were made during a long drawn out installation.1-my builder spent an hour with Hot Springs project manager discussing the placement and elevation of the pool only to have your people dig it incorrectly making 1/3 of my yard unuseable.2-placing a large pallet of chemicals and other objects in my backyard in April and not touching it until August.3-allowing concrete to be spilled and hardened at the side of my home and not removing it for months.4-having your subs show up unannounced and allowing them to leave a large pile of garbage in our backyard including personal cups, Cans, wrappers, and cigarette butts.5-not instructing crews to wear masks while approaching us during a Covid 19 crisis6- allowing the partially installed liner to sit unsealed for a weekend and get water behind it when it rained7-turning on the filter without checking to see if the newly connected pipes were clear and spewing red clay dirt into a newly filled pristine pool adding another 2 weeks to the process.8- employing people who do not return phone calls until the customer posts a negative review.Although 2 of your employees Ben and Grady were helpful, communicative, and respectful at the end of the installation that didn’t make up for the stress and aggravation we were put through during the p rocess.

I bought my hot tub from Hot Springs last October and they were really great to work with through the process. Since then, on two occasions I had what I thought were problems, which turned out not to be. I called in and received a call back I think the very same day to address the issues. Nate, in particular Ill point out, was very courteous and prompt in explaining things. I highly recommend Hot Springs !

Better hope they get it right! Cause if they dont, they NEVER call back.Hot Springs is the only reason we dont have a Certificate of Occupancy. Eric has failed three times to measure and complete a safety cover for the pool THEY BUILT! The autofill is not working and they will not return phone calls. The Creepy Crawly pool cleaner gets stuck in a corner within 15 minutes every day. Neither Robbie or Eric will return even a phone call.You are warned about how they fix problems. Keep that in mind.

I have been so pleased with our experience. I felt immediately welcomed and at ease with our sales person Doc. He was very knowledgeable about the product. We love our hot tub! We are even back for a endless pool. Working with Angie now. We love the brand and the customer service is amazing.

Hot springs will do a good job selling you on their product/service but that is where it ends. Their project manager Dave does not communicate and customer service is just about non existent. The whole process was very frustrating but we convinced ourselves it would be worth it in the end when we had our finished pool. Our pool was finished the end of June/beginning of July and has needed warranty work since it was completed. The vermiculite bottom has been soft since completion. Many spots feel like play doh. It still hasn’t solidified in many spots. This has left many foot prints and large indentations throughout the bottom of the pool. Durring construction we told them about a leak In a return. We frequently get water behind the liner in that area. Our returns consistently have fizz (air) coming out of them. We have jagged piece of metal from the steps poking into the liner. We have not been able to get any real resolution on these issues although we have sent many emails to Robbie and Dave. The only time they contacted us was when they thought we were holding up final payment, which was proven to be an error on their end. They said the only way to take care of these issues would be to remove the liner. They wanted to do it immediately so we would release payment. This was a strong arm tactic (admitted in an email by Dave) to get us to pay. We let them know they would not be ripping up our pool for an unknown amount of time until later in the year. We contacted the bank to make sure they got paid regardless of what they did, because that’s what we agreed to do and already thought they had their payment. They never even told us there was an issue until we called them out.None of these issues are horrible and unfixable. Things go wrong with brand new construction. The problem is, as soon as they realize they were paid and we weren’t holding anything up, they stopped their communication. 3 emails now to Robbie and all have been ignored. He was the one person that helped get the pool complete in the end, and now he has gone silent. They just don’t care at all about their customers. I’ve heard some ok things about them, but it has been with their commercial division and more expensive pools. If you are building a normal pool, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We have many friends that have had some wonderful experiences with other builders (B and B, Splash, Aqua Blue....) hope this helps some folks out there. For us, sounds like we will need to spend the money on having another builder fix our pool....Edit and response to the owners response: unfortunately, no this was not a mis understanding. Robbie did not reach out to my husband prior to this review. It was shortly after. We figured this review was the reason he called. He did agree they would send someone out after the season to fix the soft spots and divots and address the other issues. The time came, we drained our pool. The same crew that did our bottom poorly came out. I watched as they Peeled back a very small portion of the liner. Talked to my husband on the phone. They told him the soft spots are totally normal and people really shouldn’t be jumping in the pool from the sides ore walking on the slanted edge which is rediculious. They left before my husband could get home without doing anything Robbie said would be done. This was on a Friday afternoon. Grady (the only employee at HS that seems to care) came out on Saturday to look, but by then, the pool needed to be filled back up. He tried to make us feel better saying that the pool would work fine, but had a hard time explaining why they didn’t fix the divots like they agreed to do. We had asked several times for people to come out and look at the issues before we drained the pool. If HS was not going to address the issues and felt a moldable bottom was their quality, they did not have to have us drain the pool and spend a few hundred dollars on a refill. They never even came back to pull the vac out of the liner. We had to do that ourselves. Equipment still here.

I bought the Grandee hot tub from Hot Springs Pool & Spa’s in Greenville SC and I’m a very satisfied customer. I’ve been using my hot tub everyday since I purchased it. The customer service has been excellent, especially Angie and Glenn. I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of purchasing a pool or spa. They are definitely the best in the business.

Hot Springs was 100% service oriented and accommodating to our needs. The staff was welcoming, professional and eager to assist. Additionally, the Owner went out of his way and gathered his team to provide multiple solutions for us.We love our pool!!Many Thanks!!

Nightmare from beginning with no end in sight. Started working with this company in December 2018 and still no pool as of June 26th 2020. Every excuse from rain, too one guys grandpa died, too COVID-19. Apparently our project manager that was getting nothing done for 5 months no longer works for the company. The one we have now seems to have things back on track. Now the company wants more money, because the old project manager has things so screwed up. Its a mess. Never again and I caution anyone else. They may have, at one time, been a great company but now its a circus. They take no responsibility. We are just hoping that once theyre finally done their work is solid. Over a year and a half it still remains to be seen.

I had a great experience with this company! We have a small yard and didn’t think we could get a pool. Angie was great and knowledgeable! Being a first time pool owner, she guided me on every selection. The guys that installed to pool were awesome! Definitely a wonderful experience with this staff! My family love our pool!

Hot Springs is happy to take your $10,000 for a hot tub but don’t expect parts to last and the service from the Greenville, SC store sucks. Do Not Buy a Overpriced Hot Springs Hot Tub.

They have way out done themselves with the newly remodeled showroom. They have everything you need for your pool and spa needs. Incredibly knowledgeable staff will guide you to the right products for your pool or spa. In the market for a new spa they have a wide selection on the showroom floor to look at and find what works for you and your home.

Hot Springs did a great and timely install of a new liner. This is the second one they have done for us and and it couldn’t have been done better. I highly recommend them!

We have been a customer for about 12 years and have bought 2 hot tubs from them. There is no place else we would go or trust for advise and care of our spa. Service is rarely needed but if it is, they are exceptional. They will not oversell and will help you get the exact spa you will love. We couldn’t do without ours and are so appreciative of everyone who works there. The people I have sent to Hot Springs have been delighted with their service and product, too. Highly recommend.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Hot Springs built our pool and spa. We are STILL waiting for a CO many months later. They have had to re-do the measurements for the spa cover 3 times. Auto Fill not working. Brand new $1100 pool sweep not working. The worst however, it their total lack of responsiveness. Multiple calls to the Eric inquiring about the status of problems resulted in no returned calls. I then called Robbie (on a Monday) who was the construction manager. He said he would call right back with an update. . . . five days later, by Friday, no call. BEWARE if you use Hot Springs. They will not return your calls
