This place is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful. I went in to find a couple of gifts and they guided me to the perfect items and personalized them with initials. If youre looking for a gift, chances are good they will have something, and they offer gift wrapping and arrange shipping. They also repair luggage and leather goods. There is free parking available very nearby. Its one of the few places to find vintage Louis Vuitton luggage.

Oh my word, I have lived here 14 years and was told by a friend they could fix my leather purse. I walked in and I could not believe my eyes. Leather bags, wallets, purses, luggage, jewelry, you name it, they had it. I will NEVER have to think about a gift again. If you want special and top of the line go to AYERS LEATHER SHOP and repair store. I bought my son a leather travel bag that he will have for the rest of his life, it is made from buffalo leather and it is gorgeous. Customer service was top of the line also. Great place!!!!!!

This shop is nothing short of fantastic. Their can do attitude coupled with a wide range of services, all wrapped up with old-school friendliness and customer focus makes Ayers a place to check out, and then return to. I had a set of 100+ year old leather billiard pockets that needed to be replaced. I was able to locate the leather webbing online, but no one I called to have them installed on the pocket frames would touch them. No one but Ayers, that is. They were thrilled at the prospect of being part of restoring an antique pool table, and they NAILED IT! I could not be more pleased with the job they did for me, and all at a very reasonable price. Fast, friendly and efficient! I took me brand new GUCCI belt in there to have additional holes punched in because it was too big on me and past the return policy time frame. They handled it with care and didnt charge me a dime! Great service, thank you so much!

I absolutely love this shop. I live in Charlotte and come to this area frequently for work and always try to make time to stop by when I need a new wallet, bag or gift. The customer service is some of the best Ive ever experienced. I highly recommend this store, not only for the exquisite leather goods but for the welcoming and helpful service as well.

They are so awesome they fixed my wifes purse put new leather straps on it put the exact stitching back in, I also bought a leather belt from them they fixed it to my size perfectly, very awesome store very very friendly people will be shopping there in the future and I would suggest them to anybody

Took a leather jacket here to get fixed, they fixed it up really nice but they charged $45 over what they originally said they would only charge me. Make sure you get a written estimate so they dont lowball you, or go somewhere else.

Been coming here for years to buy special leather items when I can’t find them anywhere else. I love just walking through the doors — the smell of this store is wonderful! Makes me want to buy everything!

Highly recommend. Repeat customer they are old school customer service, not fast but good! Luggage Repair or under major brand luggage warranty. Took it in torn thinking a paid repair but they sent in under Delsey warranty, getting whole new piece without original receipt or costing us a penny. Love them!!
