We had problems with both furnaces which another company as well as the previous members of the same company tried to fix but went nowhere. John E from Westmore came and worked tirelessly to diagnose the problems (wrong circuit boards, thermostats, faulty wiring etc.) and fixed everything. He was professional, competent and very straighforward with us. He tied up all the loose ends and took care of the mess previous workers left behind. We received a modest bill for the amount of work that was done, especially compared to what (some) other companies charge. What a difference a dedicated mechanic can make in other peoples lives, we are so thankful!
Well my boiler wasnt working and I immediately called Westmore who has been providing me with Biofuel and spoke to Karen who was so professional and listened to my concerns and assured me a service technician would arrive in the afternoon and guess what they did.. John arrived and introduced himself and after accessing the situation walked me through what was to be done to correct the problem. Prior to departing John offered a few suggestions so not to have this happen again which I appreciated. Shortly thereafter I was able to take off my parka and enjoy the World Series game.If you are looking for a family operation that treats you like their family knowing that you will always be taken care of regardless of day or timelook no further WESTMORE is the choice.
Huge shoutout to TJ, George and Dwight. This past Tuesday night in the middle of the torrential rains TJ came out to service my boiler which had stopped working and therefore rendered us without heat and hot water. He arrived at 11:30pm and worked tirelessly for over an hour to get me up and running but could not. He even checked my outside tank in the middle of what seemed like a monsoon to see if possible the tank was empty, but it was not. He suggested we call back first thing the next morning for a service. I spoke to Dwight in the office who who arranged a service and he dispatched George who spent another hour and a half working to clear a clogged line from the underground tank to the boiler. Sure enough he was listed on a service entry from 21 years ago. He was totally professional and it was a pleasure talking to him. I felt confident that he would do a thorough job.

Michael has come twice to the house - the first time to get the heat restarted - very professional, courteous and helpful. The second time today, for the annual service. Again he was most professional, courteous and efficient. Thanks to Westmore and their wonderful staff.
Worst costumer service, they wouldn’t honor 85 gallons because they want to charge your more.Don’t use this company !!!Shop around there are plenty more !
I called Westmore to service my burner. The technician (Tony D) was great. He was professional, polite and thorough. He practiced Covid-19 guidelines, wearing a mask/gloves and kept 6 feet or more distance. The whole process from scheduling to cleaning was easily and hassle free. I even received txt/email alerts to remind me of the appointment.
Ive been a client of Westmore oil for over 25 years. I was never on a contract or had them service my furnace. Ive only purchased oil, hence Im not their perfect/preferred client. I would measure my oil and order when needed. I recently had a new born and with the pandemic in place it skipped my mind to check my level and then I ran out of oil. I called Westmore for an emergency delivery. I was told I would only get charge for the visit time. I was also told that the drive time is not billable as well. The tech was at my house in less than 10 minutes. It took him 8 minutes to put 10 gallons of oil into my tank. I then bled my system and started the furnace. Later that week I received a bill for $220 dollars. I felt that was way too much and this was not what I was told. I called and spoke with the manger who would not see things from my side and refused to lower the price. I finally wrote an email to the upper management but that also fell on deaf ears. I would have thought that customer loyalty was worth something but it wasnt to Westmore. I felt cheated, betrayed and let down.

Called Westmore Fuel to fix heating problem . Westmnore technician promptly arrived and fixed issue . Yoni B., technician, did a terrific job. He was knowlegeable, experienced and personable. The combination of Westmore and Yoni is commendable amd highly recommended.
Today we had our annual boiler serviced. The technician that arrived to the house did a fantastic job - extremely experienced, thorough service and very professional. He took the time to explain to me the minor items that needed to be addressed as well as general information about my particular boiler. Could not have been more satisified with the service. Westmore recently installed a new oil burner in my very old house. From the moment I was contacted by the Customer service rep, Maureen, through the 2 1/2 day installation, right up until George came to put anti freeze in the system, everything went smoothly. Everyone was highly professional, and extremely patient with my many questions..They all did an A+ job and I thank them all!!!!

So, the day of the first big storm this year. We typically heat our home with a pellet stove and make the oil stretch a long way, but we were waiting for our stove to be fixed that week and were burning through oil but werent aware. When the storm came, we saw that our oil tank was nearly empty. We called Westmore and were told that typically they had to go to the homes who had no fuel at all first, but wouldnt you know it, they came Monday while we were all still shoveling out. They are a very customer-friendly company. Weve had them for many years, and appreciate the customer care.
Westmore Fuel is great! My parents have used them for years and they take care of my rental home in Port Chester. I wouldn’t trust another company. Plus, they sell BioHeat which is not only better for the environment but saves us more because of the 20-cent per gallon tax credit.
My elderly mom lives by herself in Greenwich and has been a Westmore Fuel customer for years. She never needed emergency service until last week’s snowstorm hit. She called me in a panic because her house was cold and her heat would not turn on. I called Westmore on her behalf and a technician was quickly sent to her home to fix her burner. He had it up and running in no time. It gives me great piece of mind to know my mom’s well taken care of, even during extreme weather conditions. I can’t thank Westmore enough!
