I had a great experience buying a shotgun here. I had done my research ahead of the purchase, so it was quick and smooth. Still, the gentleman I spoke with took time to answer my questions in a thoughtful, respectful manner. I will purchase my next shotgun here.
This is a serious shop for people who are interested in traditional hunting clothing and firearms at the highest levels of quality. It is not cheap. The owner is a German guy and no, he does not immediately come off as the friendliest person in the world when you first meet him. Give it some time. Ask questions, learn about the goods, and you will find he is a wealth of knowledge and has a real desire to deliver value to his customers. The lady who works there is reserved, not rude. Shes English I believe and has excellent manners. In short, its not for everyone but if you hunt, if you know what driven shooting is, if you understand the tradition of European sporting, you will absolutely LOVE this shop.
Looking for a very specific browning A5 that is no longer produced but they had listed online. Guy seemingly was as rude as can be and considered any of the multiple camo options browning offers to be the same. When questioning that he indeed had the shotgun I was looking for(I had the browning item number and upc) he blankingly told me not to call back, he couldn’t spend anymore time dealing with me to make 100$. This was all in a 10 minute phone call.
I found a 200th anaversity Remington 1100 for $300 under retail. Despite the negative reviews I bought the gun. I only spoke briefly with the owner but in the space of 3 hours they had gotten the necessary paperwork to ship the gun to a local retailer and delivered the gun to Federal Express. The gun arrived the next day. I was happy with their service and price.
1 star is generous. As others said, rude to say the least. I asked to see cufflinks. Asked who the artist/manufacturer was. Wouldn’t tell me or hand them to me. Said I’d have to buy them first. Really? I think not.
Hello my name is Jim I live in Sunny South Fl.But my family was born in Conn. & Mass.Ive been on the internet for a week trying toFine the perfect rifle for hunting wild boar & some good size deer up in Tenn., & Ga.Came acrossed a web site that is the best, where lots of mostly great gun shops advertise there equipment, guns etc. Picked out a few rifles, and started calling. the first shop was Euro Chasse, spoke with Marilyn, shes very much about trying hard to help you get what you want as long as your being serious about it. She helped me to order at a good price one of my favorite picks. Saved about $200.00 on a gun they had in stock. Just met them on the ph. but so far I think they ROCK!!!o
Very overpriced, very rude and snobbish. I purchased. A knife there then found out I paid $150 over normal retail price. They also forgot to enclose the authentic papers for the knife. When I went back for the papers they said they could not find it. They make you feal like they are doing you a favor. I purchased a loaf of bread down the street and the owner was questioning me about whats in the bag?
Purchased a shotgun barrel and was a barrel for an earlier model... tried to call but they were closed for the holidays and finally got through recently. Was told I missed the three day inspection period. After showing some displeasure was promptly hung up on and they will not talk to me about the problem now.DO not do business here!!! They are rude and have no business ethics!!! Tell Your friends NOT to shop here!!!!
Yes, some of the guns you find here will be outstanding. The prices would be commensurate with that level of outstanding The attitude of the owner is quite frightening... yet people continue to patronize this establishment. I thought about it for years, and have concluded that the same affluent patron who utilizes the services of a dominatrix to beat them senseless, would be the same type who would buy from this dealer. I have known many people with more money than God, and I am of the opinion that they feel some form of guilt for their success.... so they go to this establishment... to get s*** on. The math for any other conclusion dosent add up.
My experience here has been very postive. Purchased clothing, guns and gifts here at fair prices. One of the owners has even taken me to his club to shoot the guns i have bought in his establishment. The clothing has been tailored quickly to fit my petit wife. Service has been great. This store sells high end quality goods that are not available unless one travels to Europe. This includes the guns and knives on display. The owners are more than willing to educate a consumer about one of their items for a potential sale. I believe the friction starts when folks walk in armed with internet knowledge.
Went to this store. 10:30 am. Doors locked, lights off. No signs showing hours. Dont bother.
Went to this store as they were an authorized Winchester dealer and I wanted a specific Winchester model. Apparently you have to belong to a certain socio economic class to shop here. #OnePercenter The female clerk refused to wait on my wife who was interested in a suede jacket because the clerk assumed she couldnt afford it. While this was going on I was trying to find out from they Gun Guy if they could order a particular model of Winchester shotgun. Instead he was more interested being as rude and insulting as possible, so I would not make a purchase here. Its all good now. I drove up the road to Bobs in Darien and they were able to take care of all my needs.
My wife and i visted Eurochasse today and can unequivocally report the following experience. The selection of high quality guns was no less than amazing. My wife throughly enjoyed shopping for fine leather bags and further received expert advice that was genuine and most helpfull with regard to finely taylored european apparel. In summary we throughly enjoyed our visit to this store that has seemingly gathered the best of the best . Great store hand made knife just spectacular
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! The rudest people I have ever encountered. i have owned a retial business for 20 years and do whatever I can for my customers ..these people and their staff are the exact opposite! My husband purchased many items for Christmas. I needed to exchange on item. Went there on the 26th and knew I would be late for work.. Waited outside their store until after 10AM..no note on the door, website said they were open, no message on their answering machine..I finally left and went to work..I contacted the salesperson who also is an acquaintance..she also was of no help..I phoned againa and again..they finally answered and would not acoomodate me in anyway as faras opening a bit early or staying late (which I do regularly for my clients) Then to make matters worse I was hung up on...when called back hung up on again! NEVER BUY ANYTHING HERE!I have never posted a negative review of anything..but this experience was unbelievable!
Harry, the manager at the store is extremely rude and unprofessional. He is not very reliable and cant communicate his products.
