This spot is great! I love the bagels, service is efficient, and the crew is friendly. I didn’t know this place existed until one day I was driving down Arapahoe RD. and saw their truck that advertised their company. I’m glad this brought me in because this is a great place!

The lady who runs this place does so with a ruthless efficiency. Fast & friendly but not too friendly. Food is fine. For those complaining about it not being real NY style, if NY is so great you should go live there.

Honestly, far from impressed. Ive ordered from here twice now, and both times I was sorely disappointed. The bagel sandwiches are very bland and leave nothing to be desired. Was hoping that the first time was just a fluke, but it seems like thats not the case. If you want a great bagel sandwich, I suggest Rosenbergs.

I hate giving any business 1 star. I am wondering what the NYC actually stands for in the name. Bagels are not bread. Real NYC bagels have a nice chew and almost pull like texture when you bite in to it and there is a certain flavor they have. These bagels are just bread. They arent bad but just should pass as good NYC bagels. If you just want a plain bread bagel and throw some breakfast foods in the middle of it then this is the place for you.

Great food, good coffee, excellent bagel-to-cream cheese ratios, lovely staff. All around cant beat it.Love this place, its a regular stop on my way into work. The owner is so sweet and friendly every morning, and she works amazingly fast. The bagels are fantastic. Closest approximation I can find to east coast style out here in Colorado, and she has SALT bagels. Long lost treasure of the bagel flavors world in the Midwest. Recommend everyone stop in and give it a try.

Wide menu selection and everything on both their breakfast and lunch menu is delicious! They have great bagels, pastries and smoothies! I always get their Chocoholic Coffee blended smoothie 😋 Its a great small businesses with friendly service.

I have ordered from here several times. It is really hard for me to step away from my work and I am so absent-minded I forget my lunch more often than I would like to admit. My order is always on point - food is hot, delicious and always correct. If they are out of something, they actually take the time to call and tell you to give you the opportunity to sub an item if needed. The everything bagels and the asiago bagels are crazy good. I highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches - my personal favorite. Be aware that they get busy during lunch hours so if you plan on using a delivery service, might be wise to order early but it is absolutely worth the wait! Thank you guys for giving a girl a super tasty and fast alternative to fast food! Support your local businesses!!

I am hoping to give this place another chance, but really unsure. I ordered delivery from door dash, and my 2 bagel sandwiches were out on plain instead of requested Asiago (if they ran out, totally understand, I just would have preferred a call to change to something other than plain). I also got 6 bagels and Asiago was not included and replaced with plain (again, I wish I was called and asked which I would prefer to replace with). And 4 out of the 6 bagels were hard as rocks and stale. Hoping it was a bad day and want to give it another shot, but will definitely do so with a smaller order.

Everyone saying these don’t taste like real NY bagels is high lol. I’m a native NYer born and raised and this is by far the closest to NY style bagels you will find in Colorado. Are they exactly like authentic NY bagels? Of course not because any real NYer knows it’s the tap water that makes NY bagels and pizza so uniquely delicious and is the reason the taste can never be replicated 100% anywhere else. The bagels here are delicious and remind me of home. Never had unfriendly service here but it does usually take a while to get food. Regardless, this is definitively the spot if you want a solid bagel or breakfast sandwich.

This place is really really delicious. My husband and I always bacon, egg and cheese on a fresh bagel here and have never been disappointed! I did debate on leaving 4 stars instead of 5 because the asian lady who has helped me many times was a bit sassy last time I was in but it was only 1 time. Maybe the the fast paced New York vibes coming through lol.

You can close your eyes and randomly point toward the bagels, cause every single one of them is amazing. Love the food, and customer service is phenomenal. Definitely have to try this spot if youre looking for a -real- bagel place in Colorado. A+++

This place is so inconsistent. Sometimes it’s fine, sometimes it’s awful. I’m currently eating a stale everything bagel. As a native New Yorker, they need to take “NYC” out of their name - it’s disrespectful.

After four years of living in the Denver Metro area, I finally found a place out here that can make a bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel comparable to my favorite bagel shops back in NY. Im very picky about bagels (and pizza) out here because most places out here just dont know how to make either like it’s done back east. However, this breakfast sandwich hit the spot like I was back in NY. Thank you, NYC Bagel and Sandwich Shop!

Not very well staffed in my opinion. Couldnt seem to handle the line that formed. Definitely order ahead if possible to save time. But honestly I wouldnt go back anyway. The bagel selection is meh but in my opinion they all taste like a plain bagel anyway. The cream cheeses are very similar to each other and are very bland as well.

Very poor customer service, the lady at the counter is very rude, she wants to attack you like nobodys business, not polite at all. Unfortunately she still lives in an Asian environment where theres no customer service, if she was nice at all she might be able to hire someone to help her around the store.

Regarding my reviews on Google Maps. Since Google doesnt provide any kind of guidelines on the expectations of what a 5 star rating requires or means. That makes it difficult person to person to decipher what good or great is. Let alone that one persons 3 star rating is anothers 5 star experience. That being said. I eat out a lot and at some pretty nice places. Ive recently decided to review each place I eat and add pictures. I will comment on the things that are important to me for a restaurant or other establishment to have a high rating.For me the following are important when rating a restaurant.1) Cleanliness overall including the bathrooms2) Service and staff behavior3) Food and beverage quality4) Prices (I do not put a lot of emphasis on price if all other aspects meet my expectations Im willing to pay)5) Atmosphere (this is obviously in the eye of the beholder)I hope this makes my reviews more helpful and meaningful to all users .Wow real bagels come to the DTC! This place is wonderful. My first stop today. I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel. Service was good the bagel sandwich was great and I didnt have to drive to Denver. I ate the bagel sandwich first then wanted 6 everything to go, but they were out. They told me 7 minutes so I waited and they were right on time. I posted a copy of the sign that tells how they make their bagels. The boiling then baking is the key. I will be a regular. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think the owner took my order.

You dont have to go to NYC to get New York bagels and they have rainbow bagels! Just as yummy as the ones from the city. Good bagel selection and friendly staff.

Being from New York, I often question businesses that have “NYC” anything in their name. That being said, I’m quite critical and expect it to be the exact same. NYC Bagel and Sandwich Shop is very, very similar. Of course, you can’t be *exactly* the same as NY, but this shop is pulling in a close second! Highly recommend!

This place was highly recommended to me, but I was sad. Im from NJ/NY cant seem to find a good bagel in this state, this is another chain, its pre-fab stuff run through a toaster, pleasant people and service there - but still very confused how no one here has bothered to get a bagel oven and actually bake them fresh the right way each morning. To me places like this are the same thing as those gross Thomas Bagels, and if I wanted that Id go grab a 6 pack from the supermarket. Alas - the search for a decent bagel continues!

Being from the east coaster means we know good bagels. This place is exactly what the doctor ordered. The service is super friendly and they make the bagels super fresh. We got rainbow bagels and egg bagels and a French toast bagel. All of them were super delicious. I highly recommend the bacon and scallion cream cheese it is a must.

Used to live in NY and until now I havent found a bagel as good as a NY bagel. I had their Bialy bagel with bacon scallion cream cheese and it was SO GOOD!!!The main thing I absolutely loved was I ordered them from DoorDash. Along with the bagel, I ordered iced coffee. The drink came with a sticker that collects DNA and made it more difficult for your drink to be tampered with! I absolutely love this and wish more restaurants did this! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend NYC Bagel and Sandwich Shop!

Lived in New York my whole life and this is the closest you will get to an authentic bacon egg and cheese in the denver area. No microwaved eggs or bacon, fresh bagel and they have original snapple which is very tough to find in Denver. The one place that makes me feel like Im back on long Island. Also 10x better than einsteins, moes bagels, bagel deli, brueggers, Rosenbergs and woodgrain

Closest bagels to back east. Better bagels than Rosenbergs or The Bagel Deli. Will call ahead and they bake em fresh for us, salt, and everything bagels!! Just dont have all the traditional fixings like proper lox, whitefish, etc.

We are from Jersey and love these bagels! The bagels are always fresh and they have many flavors to choose from. The same workers are always there and are super pleasant! My mom doesnt have to smuggle bagels on the plane from Jersey for us anymore!

Very much the taste of New York. The bagels were wonderful and they even had lox cream cheese. My husband had a sandwich which was delicious and as good as any sandwich specialty shop could have done. The only downside, and the reason I gave it four instead of 5 stars, is their soda machine was broken and we had to have bottled soda with no ice. A great place for lunch or breakfast.

The girl thats always there taking orders never once changed gloves. She kept touching her hair and scratching her head which didnt have a net over it. She put away supplies, cleaned the countertop, took orders, answered the phone, tugged on her pants and then made bagels without ever changing gloves or washing hands. She was also very rude and snippy, I defiantly wont eat there again!

Very clean place, nice comfortable environment and you can get any of there sandwiches on a bagel. I had the turkey ranch on a tomatoe basil bagel with avocado is was Soo good will definitely be coming back 👍

Stopped in at 8am on a Monday, asked for a salt bagel, out of salt bagels. Asked for a plain bagel, out of plain bagels. The bagels they did have were hard like theyd been sitting out overnight. If youre deciding between bagel places, do yourself a favor and just go to Einsteins. Einsteins isnt the best but at least their bagels are fresh and they always have what you want.

This place is terrible. May be the worst of any place i have ever reviewed. An absolute mockery of NYC bagels. Anyone saying they are just like new york is clinically insane.These are dense, bland, carb bombs. The salt bagel i got had maybe 5 grains of salt on it. The egg bagel, terrible.I dont often post negative reviews and have no beef with this business. Rosenbergs farrrrrr better. This place should change name to Colorado Bagels

I absolutely love the breakfast sandwiches!! The quality of the food is above par. The lunch paninis were bomb!!! There are so many choices that all look amazing that I had a hard time choosing which to get, my mouth is watering now just thinking about it.. seriously- lol. I would highly recommend this place... the food is great and the owners are very nice. it gets a thumbs up from me!!

Finally a good bagel place. Ive been coming here every week since they opened and LOVE their breakfast sandwiches. They have a great selection of flavors and spreads AND they have a extensive sandwhich menu as well. Bagels are fresh and flavorful (try the French toast bagel with honey almond spread SOOOO good)
