I cant comment much on this one because I didnt go inside. I took a friend who went in to have keys 🔑made. They were busy, but he was waited on promptly and was out within a few minutes.

I know everyone is crazy over hand sanitizer but yesterday my daughter asked the price of some here to find out how much it cost. Was told almost $30.00 so she put it back. Lady runs out screaming inside and outside of the store wheres the bottle???? Goes up to my daughter outside and asked her to come back in and show her where she put it. Embarrassed her in front of everyone and she felt like a criminal. Then she proceeds to try to rectify the situation by being nice to her and saying she had cheaper sanitizer coming in. Never will I shop there again. Lady should be reprimanded for this.

They have lots of items. That are reasonably priced very knowledgeable employees and helpful.

They are right by the lake and they have a huge assortment of different items. Much more to choose from then most Ace Hardware stores I have been to period I guess because they are by the lake they carry a lot more products.. they were very friendly about helping me find what I was looking for. The cashiers were very friendly when I was checking out.

My husband has worked on and rebuilt antique cars for over 30 years. So, I am accustomed to writing down exactly what he needs from a hardware store or an automotive store. So when I went into Lakelands Ace for heavy duty zip ties I was offended to be told by, Sammy, who wasnt waiting on me to begin with, that I needed to call my husband because he had worked on cars for 20 years and I was getting the wrong item. I felt I wasnt allowed to get this item until I had called my husband. So, stupid me, I did. What I should have done was tell Sammy to piss off. I did call my husband and I was correct in what I had written down and what he wanted.

Lakelands Ace is closer to home for us than other hardware stores so its convenient to go there plus they have helpful & friendly employees that work there.

I called to to find out if they did Firearm transfers and was told by someone named Sammy that the fee is according to the size of the firearm but wont be over $60. Ive transferred well over 50 firearms through various stores and have never paid more than $30 for a transfer. I went to pick up my AR lower receiver which is the size of a large handgun and figured the fee wouldnt be more than $20 if they charged according to size. A lady by the name of Annette Whitley charged me $60 after making me wait 30 minutes because she didnt know what she was doing when processing my paperwork. Rather than an apology for the long wait, she told me I was welcome to go to another store for a cheaper transfer. I went to their store after reading dozens of great reviews on their facebook page but I wasnt a happy customer. Wont be going back again.
