Love this store... they are better than Walmart or Target.. you can get just about anything there... ammo, clothes, spices, all kinds of food, laundry soaps and cleaners... and a baby chicken 🐥 of and food for your animals, litters, toys and decor... all that under one small roof! Not to mention, equipment of all types, boots, they have it all! Great staff included!

Bought raccoon and possum traps from rural king and a few other things.. A mailbox and numbers to put on it. The staff was so so helpful here. This is probably my 2nd time in here, first time was almost a year ago... Anyways bought a set of two traps.. One big and one medium for about 18 bucks. And bought a mailbox for 18 bucks. Menards wanted 30 for the same mailbox. So i will be frequenting RURAL KING more often...Love the deals.. Oh and i love seeing the little chicks and bunnies.. So cute.. Def check this store out super cute..

Very nice and clean store. I didnt have the best experience with the cashier. Young kid who could care less about his job. I did inquire about a job her myself but after finding out the starting wage I have decided to not take it. The less you pay your employees the worse employees you get. We are still in the front lines with covid back on the rise. Im not risking my health for 11 dollars. I do however think everyone else Ive come into contact with are very sweet and the store is clean and very well priced

Always find what I need plus some. One of few places I can find the size of Jeans my son wears. Store is always clean. They are selling huge bags of popcorn for $2.50. Brought one home and kids loved it. The place to go to stock up on birdseed.

If they dont have you dont need it. Everything imaginable for ranch, farm and gardening. A little messy but an amazing selection.

First of all I would like to thank the gentleman who helped me with my chicks at closing time Saturday 07/31/21. He was very patient with the wife 3 excited children and I. That being said, I started at the gun counter and seemed like a problem as they were very short and bothered with my simple questions. Then came the chicks, thanks again, then the cashier was extremely rude, seemed to have interrupted her conversation with another employee and feel that may have been the reason for her attitude but she came off extremely rude. So now i will apologize to the 3 guys at the gun counter and the cashier at the front for patronizing your place of employment... Wont happen again

Cant go wrong going to rural King especially this location always very friendly employees they got really good battery prices good firearm prices everythings always usually in stock if youre looking for Carhartt or good working boots they have it.

Today while shopping with my 87 year old mom she was trying to get her cart between a hanging plant rack and the tomato plants on the other side. Her cart hit the hanging rack, which wasnt supported well at all, knocking it over. It landed on top of a car parked in the no parking zone. The lady got out yelling and screaming at me and my mom. She had a manager come out who then told her to call the police and that it was between my mom and her! He was obviously CLUELESS since she shouldnt have been parked there anyway! He so very rude to my mom. What kind of people do you have as mangers there?! The police came, never talking to my mom or I since she had parked in a no parking zone. Why be rude to an old lady?! You may want to train your managers in basic customer service and how you should speak to customers, just a thought.

Well Rule King as a store is good. However one will need to use good judgment on where to go. Not all of the store have helpful service

This Rural King has a 4 person max allowance in the firearms/hunting section. They strongly enforce their policy and they’re the only Rural King I’ve been to that practices this. I simply won’t shop there, the store manager pushing this policy should be reevaluated as its definitely negatively impacting sales and frustrating to patrons who simply want to go and grab something off the shelf.

Today I made the drive to Greenwood to shop at Rural King. I was interested in purchasing a gun. I explained to the lady in the Gun Barn that I didnt know much about guns. I started asking questions. The lady was very very rude. As though she was bothered by the fact that I was asking questions. In the middle of my questions she just walked off as to just be done with me. Her attitude was terrible. I did tell her that her customer service was terrible! She never even looked back just kept walking. I was very upset as I had just drove 45 minutes to come to this store, that was recommended by a coworker. So I guess I now will end up taking my gun purchase else where.

Such a fun & great place to go! Get all your farming tractor supplies here! They also have live chicks and ducks and sometimes bunnies it is great place for the kids your animals are welcome to come with you as long as theyre on a leash and their staff is always so helpful and friendly! 😊

Horrible experiences every time I go. Not sure why I go back, but never again after the last experience. The place is always a clutter mess, prices arent competitive and the staff are limited. Unless you look at tools, then youll have plenty of help...maybe be frisked. Terrible place and if you only go for the cheap batteries, dont worry because Advance Auto has the same price with better quality

Lots of farm stuff, But: Navigating through the isles was a problem. Junk everywhere. Either they just got lots of trucks stock to put away or this place needs a task master. Set prioritys to get stuff stowed away. Registrars were backed up and still employees were standing around like thats normal. A mess... Lots of chickie babies.

Really like this store. Great variety of items, helpful staff (especially the CEO*), and good sale prices.*We happen to be in the store when the companys CEO was visiting. It seems like each time we needed help we ran in to him. Although there were 1 to 2 store employees with him, they got the other customer in our isle, we happily got him. We had no idea who he was until we checked out. The cashier told us, she was a little star struck.We were extremely impressed with his supervisory style. He was very pleasant to both us and the staff. Stepping in and working along side the other employees. He was an Undercover Boss without being undercover. Kudos.

We really only go there to buy food for our animals. Very few employees wear masks and the ones that do-wear them incorrectly. The employees hide from the customers; you have to play hide and seek to find one.

The store is just okay. Prices are comprable on some items and over priced on others. Customer service is really lacking. Associates are not familiar with products sold. Cashiers lack common courtesy training and basic skills in exchanging money. Many items are misplaced and its hard to find what you are looking for.

Great selection of trees, flowering, fruit, and shade. Reasonable prices on all of them and they looked healthy and had been watered. Going back for more. This was the Friday before Easter.

I sure wish I would have found this place years ago. I wouldve saved a massive amount of money. Finally got a burn barrell for $20 - nowhere could I find anything close to their price. I wanted it delivered, because I didnt think it would fit in my Infinity. Well I pleasantly surprised to see that it fit nicely in the back seat. I did put down a dog protective cover. Thanks to Infinity f I r having doors that open extra wide and Rural King forv$20 burn barrells. That store seems to have everything you could need, so I think Im gonna take my grandson and go see what all they do have.....

Advertised some totes went to the store they only had the lids no totes. Asked a employee about it she says they do it all the time (advertise stuff and dont actually have it) and kind of brushes us off said we have a Avon store like go bother them. Not happy with how we were treated.

Slow customer service or non existent sales associates. Prepare for a 15 to 20 min. check-out. The store was practically empty. 2 customers ahead of me with 5 items each and 20 mins later I walked to my car.

This review is about the gun dept. nothing of note in stock. and the guys behind the counter could not give a care less to discuss the things they do have in stock. i stopped coming here last year but decided i would try again this past week. extremely disappointing and will never purchase from here again. purchased both my carry pistol and my girlfriends pistol here as well. the rest of the store however is just fine.

Pretty cool place, any place is cool if you can bring in your fur babies! Customer service is is pretty good as well. Dog food is priced lower than most places!! Win win I say!
