Phenomenal service! Extremely knowledgeable, prompt service, and great prices! I called around 8:45 am and Scott came out by 10:00 am to replace my broken springs. It’s very clear that he is an expert on garage doors. He pointed out some mistakes the builder made when installing the door, but said they can be easily corrected if I wanted to do so later. They weren’t issues that needed immediate attention but would increase the longevity of the door and opener if corrected. He seems very fair and honest regarding his work. I’m so glad I called him and will definitely be using him in the near future for some maintenance on the garage door. Thanks Scott!!

Greer OverHead Door has been a pleasure to work with. When one of the garage door openers gave up the ghost, I went out and bought a replacement for both door openers thinking I would self-install. After taking a look at this, and evaluating my own mechanical abilities, I turned to Scott Bandy from Greer Overhead Door.Not only did they install the doors flawlessly, they also fixed the root of the issue which was the tiny spring used on the massive double car garage door. Just recently, we had another issue at the house with our garage door. Scott was quick to respond to my phone call and schedule a time to come by the house. This is by far the BEST company I’ve ever worked with for a problem like this!Our garage door opener completely fell apart on a Monday night, beyond repair, with cars stuck inside. I called Greer Overhead Door on Tuesday morning, and Scott came by within 30 minutes to provide a free estimate. He stayed for about an hour. He was very thorough in answering all my questions about what had gone wrong with our old opener, why it had broken, what should have been done differently, and also explained how the new opener system he intended to install would be better (and cheaper) than our old one. We have a double bay garage so I thought we’d have to replace both openers instead of just the broken one, but he said no – save your money – as long as the other one still works it’s OK to have two separate systems. He was able to do the job on Thursday morning to have our new opener installed, barely 48 hours after I first called him!One of the problems with the broken opener is that the wrong spring had been installed at some point in the past, and he warned me that a new set of springs might be needed. But when he installed the new system, it turned out the existing spring (even though not quite correct) worked fine once he adjusted it and wound it correctly, and would not damage the new opener. So his honesty saved me - literally - hundreds of dollars.This company has integrity and fantastic customer service, and I will definitely use them again in future! Cannot recommend highly enough.

I made the call at the end of the day, left a message, and got a call back 8:30am the next morning. Scott was able to get to my house shortly after lunch and had everything fixed within a couple of hours. Quick service and a great price. I am happy I did business with this company.

Bill was able to come an hour early. He was a professional in every way. Installed 2 new torsion springs on my 18X7 garage door. Tested the door several times and adjusted the springs to perfection. The opener is working better now. Excellent job!

Scott is great. Come out same day I called, was able to fix my broken spring for cheaper than I was expecting. We were having issues with our garage door and our door opener. Called Greer OverHead Door not to be confused with the other national Overhead door company. Service was prompt and courteous and the cost was much less than we had been quoted by other companys. One estimate we had received was more than three times what the guys at Greer Overhead charged us. Call around if you want but use Greer overhead if you want to be treated honestly.

Had multiple companies come and give us an estimate for a new door. Greer Overhead Door was the only company that told us our door could be repaired instead of replacing. the repair was only a few hundred dollars which saved us over $1000 We are very pleased to say the least

Called 2 days in a row to request an estimate for repair/replacement, left voicemail both times. I never received a call back. I contacted company via email and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I was told that a technician would be at my house “by 9:00”. At 9:00, nobody had come or called. I emailed and called the company, left another voicemail. Finally, at 9:30, I received an email stating that the technician got held up at an appointment with no cell service. I still never received a call back. At this point, they had cost me income because I stayed home to be there for the appointment that never happened. I kindly told them that I was no longer interested in using their company. Absolutely terrible customer service.

We had an accident involving our garage door. Called several companies and decided to use Greer overhead and couldnt be happier. Although they assured us the door could be repaired for a few hundred dollars we opted for a new door. What we wanted had to be ordered and was well worth the wait. Great Job!

Had difficulties getting someone to come out for measurement. Finally got someone to come out and bring samples but only had one color. No sample board, but just two boards of what they thought would work for our house. Chose door, got prices, ordered. Was told two and half weeks for delivery and install but at three weeks and no follow up calls to advise of any delay, checked in again and was advised it would be here the next week. Had to ask specifically what the delay was and only then was told there were production delays. Then it was noticed that there was no outlet for door so we have to take care of that later. Would have thought someone would have looked for that when taking measurements. Wiring outside of door is rather unsightly as it is punched through existing siding and it isnt even straight. Kind of rigged looking. Not pleased for all the effort it took to do business with them. Communication and details are not their strong suit.

Needed doors for my newly built garage. called several companies but greer overhead gave us the best price and also took the time to explain the best application for us as we have very high ceilings. We didnt know for very little extra cost we could have our door tracks designed to get the doors close to the ceiling instead of hanging down about 4 feet. we have 12 ft ceilings and wanted 8 ft tall doors and I wanted as much room as possible for my car lift to be installed. Thanks, great job!

Our church has an activities van that was stuck inside as we couldnt get the overhead door open. We called greer overhead and they came out within the hour and got our van out. Turned out to be a simple problem and the cost to repair was much less than we expected. Thanks again for the great service!

When our cars became trapped in our garage due to a broken spring, I began calling for service and accepted the first appointment I could find. Meanwhile, Scott from Greer Overhead called me back and even though I had someone else coming, he was kind enough to tell me what the repair should entail and about how much it should cost. When the other company came, they quoted me a price of $475 for a repair Scott had said should be no more than $200. Obviously, I sent the other company away and called Scott back. Greer Overhead came the same day and had it fixed in no time. Bill, our technician, was super nice and did a great job. A dependable, reasonably priced and most importantly HONEST company to do business with. Highly recommend!!!

We have had constant door problems. We had a broken spring replaced about two years ago and we paid nearly 400 bucks. The other spring broke and the same company wanted almost another 500 and said we needed other parts. my wife called greer Overhead door and they replaced both springs with the correct ones as should have been done the first time for a total of just 200. they also inspected the door and adjusted the opener. our door has never functioned this well as it apparently always had the wrong springs. If you want honest work at a fair price call Greer Overhead not to be confused with the corporate red ribbon logo overhead company.

Made an appointment on a Wed. Was hoping for someday service, which was advertised. Was told they could get out Friday. I took off Friday afternoon. At 3:00 I called . Was told someone would call me back in 15 min. I received no call back and recalled. The next call I made I spoke to the lady how I made the appointment with and told her no one had showed up. She said she would check and call me back. She also never did. In all I called 5 times and never spoke to anyone else. They apparently dont need any business.

Just moved into our new house and were having opener problems. Thought we needed a new one but it was only a broken wire. Greer overhead door fixed it in about 5 minutes and didnt even charge us anything! Scott said it was a house warming gift.

When my 30 year old garage door started failing to open, I called Greer Overhead Door. Scott carefully examined the door and opener and found that the door was in perfect operating shape, but that the 20 year old opener was shot.Since I wanted an opener with built-in Wi-Fi (instead of getting an add-on module which would have required an adapter and I had no free ports on my router), Scott had to order one. As soon as it arrived, he set up the appointment. He and a co-worker arrived on time, removed the old opener, and had the new one installed and adjusted in no time at all. They also did a great job cleaning up.Scott also walked me through what I would need to do to get the built-in remote opener in my car to work. That saved me a ton of time since my cars manual had so many possible steps, it wouldnt have been clear which applied.When the time comes to replace my garage door, I wont hesitate to call Greer Overhead Door. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and thoroughly professional, all for a very fair price.

Called and left several messages was finally contacted a month and a half later. We asked if they also replaced they replaced flashing as well and they said no. When they finally scheduled to come out they emailed the morning of they were going to be late. When they showed up we learned that they do replace flashing. Do not use this company unless you have plenty of time to wait.

Do not use!! Waited two months for garage doors and never heard back from entry doors that were to be installed in November. Terrible customer service🤨
