I had two broken windows in my house but was only able to remove one of them at the time. I brought it to Dixie Messer glass and they told me it would be $200 and about a week. I was happy with the service and the turnaround time. About six months later I was able to remove the second window and brought it to them as well. They told me the price would be the same as last time and I would I would have it back within a week. I got a call from them a week after I dropped it off. Expecting to hear them say that my window is ready for pickup oh, I was surprised when they told me they had not sent the window out yet but were waiting for me too leave a deposit for the repairs. I went in to talk to them in person and to complain about the fact that I was expecting my repaired window back that day. I asked them why I was not asked to leave a deposit when I brought the window in but they could not give me an answer. They then told me the price would be $100 more than last time. This is unprofessional unacceptable and I would never do business with such a company again. I made a call to beswinger glass and they quoted me $120 less! They replace my window in 10 days. Watch out for this company because they attempted to charge me $100 more than what they quoted me once they had the glass in their hands!

Dixie Messer came highly recommended by a gentlemen that worked at Lowes in Greer. We worked with Kenny on a window replacement for our house. He took care of everything right away and installed the window 5 days ahead of schedule! This is the 1st time we used Dixie Messer but not the last! Thank you so much!

I was looking for a certain type of glass for a China Hutch that I needed to get ASAP. I called Dixie-Messer Mirror & Glass in Greer SC and they had what I needed and were able to cut the replacement glass for me while I waited, which was probably only 15 minutes. About an hour later I get a call that I now need a second replacement piece. I called them back to see if I could get another piece cut (again ASAP) and they had it ready when I got there 10 minutes later. They were polite, professional, understanding, and willing to help me out again without hesitation. So, here is a HUGE shout out to the fine folks at Dixie-Messer Mirror & Glass in Greer. Wont go anywhere else for glass or mirror needs. GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Did not find what we were looking for.

I chose to order glass from this company instead of an online retailer to support local business. The online retailer was about $50 cheaper, but I was okay with that. However, when we went to pick up the glass, we realized it would not fit in my truck without building up the bed. The owner of the place wanted $50 to deliver this 3/4 of a mile down the road. At first glance, I loved this company, but turns out the owner is just a greedy individual who makes money every which way he can. Will never be back.

Our initial experience with the shower glass install was wonderful! However, now we have a service issue and they are being completely unresponsive. Someone came out, confirmed that there was a problem they needed to resolve but werent sure what to do about it and they were going to call me back to let me know. That was 2 months ago. I have left at LEAST 5 messages (on a machine, and with a person who said it would be hand-delivered) over the last several weeks and havent received a call back. And of course, thats all because the right person is never available to take the call in the first place. Very disappointing.

I thought I would never be able to use a pair of ginger jars as lamps because one of the tops had been cracked and repaired. Scott and the staff at the front counter were amazing! He explained the process and did warn me that he couldn’t guarantee that the top wouldn’t crack under drilling. Not only did he do a beautiful job with everything intact, but finished the job within a day! Thank you for such great service and the furniture and items in your store are beautiful and unique. I’ll be back!

DON’T USE THEM TO INSTALL GLASS!About 3 years ago we had new glass put on a few windows. They came and measured. About 3 weeks later they show up to install and they are wrong size. So we have to wait another 3 weeks..Now 3 ish years later our upstairs bathroom window fell out! Had anyone been sitting below it could have seriously injured them. The window we’re install wrong. They we never seemed right..

Brought my Memphis Shades motorcycle windshield to cut down to fit my height. The material is lucite. I asked if they were capable of cutting this and the sales lady confirmed they could and added that her cutter was extremely talented. I was assured he could cut it to size. I was not aware there was a risk that the material could break and no warning was given. The cutter came back 10 minutes later saying he was sorry, but it cracked, adding that its never happened before. There was no offer to help make it right. I have called to speak to the owners on four occasions with no return calls. Bad business practice. Shopper beware!

GREER AREA PATRONS - READ BELOW!!So I needed 2.5 feet of 1/8th glass cut - in 3 pieces(1@ 12x12 and 2 @12x8). I went yesterday and dropped off the templates to Dixie Messer glass on Main street. Ive had these exact pieces of glass cut from them before and the bill was very reasonable around $40. This time I didnt ask for a quote as I figured it may be more at most $75. I was called to a bill of $131!! I was then told this 1/8th frosted glass was $18.00 a SQ ft and I had to pay for 6 feet of it. I said fine and asked for the remaining glass - to which the lady owner told me that its in the garbage as they dont keep cut offs. What I dont understand is why would they throw away MORE glass than I took from the 6 sq ft section - it that was true. I tried to be logical, respectful, and nice to the elderly lady owner but she told me just to go somewhere else. She told me its like lumber - you pay for a certain amount no matter what size its cut. Funny - last time I bought a sheet of plywood at Home Depot and had it cut for the size I needed - I got to keep BOTH PIECES!!I left without spending money and without my glass.Just thought Id put it out there. Now I have to find a new glass shop to get my glass cut for the heated build plates for my printers.

Place is very expensive not a large variety of different t its.s. mostly furniture and mirrors. There are some beautiful pieces of art made of multiple panels.
