The people here at the pharmacy are over worked and under staffed. Still they stay cool and give great customer service. They were hustling but there was only one pharmacist. She was very busy too. Just need another one and they will be good. 3 stars for corporate 5 stars for the people.

I get in n out of the Grinnell store so much quicker n easier than most others.

Its a Walmart what do you expect... im a trucker that slept on the side street unbothered while waiting to deliver at a facility across the street . I went inside to the deli dept in hopes for the teriyaki chicken but of course they didnt sell it. Outside location looks ok.

Its Large newer store. Overall a clean environment, but there is not as much variety as other stores it size. Always seems to be under staffed.it Does have the pharmacy, but no Automotive (tire, oil) shop. Not bad, but now what you would expect for the age and location.

Wonderful store with older feel. I miss the days when Walmart had this setup. Employees super helpful. Fast checkout, self checkout or traditional. Clean store. Did I mention the delightful, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. What a wonderful trip down memory lane where customer service was second and the customer themselves were first. I have never praised a Walmart, especially the employees, like this in a review. Well done folks. Awesome job. Clean store, well stocked, and amazing people make for an awesome shopping experience.

Its a Walmart. Nothing too special. There are basically all the same things all the other Walmarts have. No vehicle center here. And there arent any in store fast food places or anything like that. Its just a standard WalMart with all the basic stuff.

Easy truck parking for stop-n-shop. Not sure how they are for a 10 or 34.

I was more than 40.oo short because they didnt accept the food coalition voucher that I had, the manager said he was never invited to participate in the program. So with me not having enough money to get groceries. He paid the 42.oo that was due right out of his own pocket. I have never had anyone do that for me. So a huge blessing sent your way sir for helping me!!!

Its walmart. You could be inside a walmart and you dont have a clue if youre in Iowa or australia... Its a world to itself

The workers are very helpful, always willing to find something for you. Always checking on produce. I just wish they would get newer items in. I have lived here over 10 years and they have had the same thing in home decor, towels, bedding, pillows, cooking etc... for over 6 years, never going on sale or replaced with new items.

My main problem with Walmart has always been the checkout process. The largest retailer on the planet seems to be very concerned with labor costs when it comes to having sufficient cashiers available.

Terrible experience here. Employees will treat you like a thief and not apologize when they turn out to be wrong. Stay away from this soulless corporation and give your money to small businesses... or Amazon. Anything is better than supporting this location which has no ethics and terrible customer service.

Front end workers have always been helpful and personable. Lately with COVID-19 standards that are being enforced most seem to stay on top of sanitizing their respective areas.As far as COVID-19 standards that are concerning the Masks Required bit for customers seems to end at the door as there is no enforcement or even requests otherwise past that point.Pros :Helpful and typically engaging staff.LGBTQ+ FriendlyCons :Selection is often lacking, even in grocery.Pharmacy isnt always knowledgeable

Relatively easy to find location, granted its located behind a strip mall. Right off the main road. Decent social distancing practices, masks provided at the door if you forget yours.

Smallest Walmart Ive ever seen, so theres not the selection youd expect at any other Walmart.

Great and easy access to great deals on food!! & while youre there you can get other stuff for the house too!! Wonderful all in one store!! The only complaint I have is that theres only 2 places that have workers to check you out!! All other checkouts are self checkouts, thats more work for ME that I dont want!! Other than that its perfect!!

They have things and stuff. Its pretty easy to find. The signs that hang from the ceiling tell you where it is at. Self-checkout is a joke. Whats next... I have to restock the shelves I took items to purchase from before I leave. Help unload the truck...? Please!

I had two buggies full of groceries today. AGAIN, when I went to self check out, there were only a couple tiny, self checkout express lanes open. (This has been happening a lot lately.) There were four female Walmart employees standing in the area where the tiny express self checkout stalls were so I asked them why none of the full sized, self check outs with the belts were open. I told the employees that it was impossible to check out this many groceries on one of the tiny express self check out stalls. I had to repeat myself several times before any of them would answer me. Finally, one employees offered to get a manager and I said I would appreciate speaking to one. (No manager ever showed up.) Another employee said there werent enough people to warrant opening up any of the full scale self checkout lanes.I dont mind self checking my groceries but when a store doesnt have ANY lanes adequate to check out several buggies of groceries, or offer to open one, I draw the line.

This store is the best store. if you don’t like this store you might be a communist. the employees are friendly and the managers are cool, i have personally talked to one myself. they have great products, my dog likes the rachel ray food. i have depression.

My experience was amazing! I placed my items in the cart and rolled up to that amazing self check out while about 6 employees stood around watching.Believe me if I could find my product I use some where else I would not shop Walmart!

Nice clean Walmart with helpful staff. When ready to check out, we were greeted by Vanessa who offered to check us out at the self checkout lane. She checked out our items and showed us how easy it was to use self checkout.

My boyfriend bought lotion and ice packs today at self checkout. He forgot to grab the bag on his way out as he was tired. He came back in, was helped by a young friendly employee, only to have a manager come up and BERATE her in front of him. Even after showing his receipt and standing up for said employee, manager did not apologize. As a former manager, it is SO disrespectful to talk down to an employee in front of customers.

Compared to other Walmart locations, this one lacks product. With it being one of 3 options to get groceries within a 30 mile radius, I would assume Walmart would do a remodel and have this location setup way better. Doesn’t even have a taillight repair kit in store. SMH. Customer service is friendly though and willing to help if needed. Careful going late night as you may not find someone to help you in the back unless you walk all the way up to the front. Really wish corporate Walmart would better provision this location. Especially when it covers for Newton Walmart at night which leaves it the only store open between Des Moines and Iowa City between 12am and 8am

Small but well kept. Clean and inviting. I like this better than the bigger trashier Walmart’s.
