Very good customer service. I called to ask about getting a missing nose pad on my Oakley glasses fixed. The person who answered was knowledgeable, checked to make sure they had the correct part, and said to come on over. I did. When I arrived, I was greeted right away. The repair took only a few minutes while I browsed. No charge. I plan to get my new glasses there when its time.

Pleasant experience from beginning to end. Excellent doctor. Desiree should be everyones best friend. Shes very good at her job. She keeps it real and is willing to offer an opinion if asked. Spent much more money than I intended, but the experience made it worthwhile.

I have had previous experience at this LensCrafters for a quick re-set on my glasses. Today I stopped in and took a look around. There are a nice variety of glasses and the store is clean and calm. The staff is kind and friendly and let you look around in peace. They are professional and clear with instruction. I had a vision exam and the Dr./ Optometrist were both respectful and the exam was prompt and well directed. Having an updated prescription now I have some options on Lenses. I have some top contenders- Choice will be TBD! Thank you for all the staff at LensCrafters.

I booked an online and provided all my insurance information. When I arrived at the store I was surprised at their limited frame selection. I was even more surprised that knowone had bothered to confirm my insurance information before I got there. I waited for 40 minutes only to be told that I would have to call my insurance to confirm a laundry list of information myself. I understand that not every insurance plan is accepted everywhere. However, had anyone bothered to check my insurance before I arrived they could have informed and saved a lot of time and hassle.

Every time I come here, I have the best experience. You are greeted immediately and everyone is so helpful. I am very indecisive and came back 3 times to exchange them. I highly recommend them

I stopped in without an appointment to buy some replacement nose pads for my glasses. They told me they wouldn’t sell them but would replace them for free. Never asked where I had gotten the glasses. I was out the door in ten minutes with the new pads. Friendly and competent staff, and great service attitude.

Everyone was so helpful, knowledgeable, and and respectful. I have already recommended my family members to this store for their eye needs...

Amazing service! Fast and Friendly! Took my son on Sunday afternoon just a couple hours before close and they did his eye exam and we ordered his glasses and they were done before they closed. Everyone at the Grosse Pointe location was extremely nice and helpful! I came in for an exam and to pick out frames. I wish I could remember everyone’s names specifically but excellent customer service aside they were natural conversationalist and I felt very comfortable! Let me add everyone is extremely knowledgeable so I will definitely return for all my exam and contact/glasses needs!

Having gone to lens crafters for a very long time, I was so disappointed with my last time going there to pick up my glasses. Let me say that the doctor and sales associate that helped me pick out a pair I would rate them 10/10 if I could. I believe Maria was the associate I dealt with when picking up my glasses. To give you perspective I am a -5 in glasses. When I arrived after driving an hour to get there I asked to use the restroom, I was told they do not have bathrooms... Odd because when I was there for my initial exam they squeezed in a patient and allowed her to use the restroom... I let this go even though I my bladder felt like it was going to burst. She gets my glasses and I asked for a contact case and solution to try on my glasses to ensure my prescription was correct before leaving.. again I’m a -5. She acted confused as to why I wanted to take out my contacts and stated this exactly “We would just rather you not touch your eyes while you are here.” I was utterly confused as I understand we are in a pandemic but I was able to take out my contacts for my exam with no questions asked. So I stated I wanted to ensure they were correct. She got me the things I needed. When I tried on the glasses and I was getting the fish bowl effect. Feeling defeated I said “I’m so annoyed.” And she stated “I could tell you were annoyed the moment you walked in.” This is where I got angry and said I wasn’t annoyed when I walked in.. I saw a patient here use the restroom when I was here last so that was the first thing. She stated because I was in my scrubs “Well you are in healthcare you should understand about the bathroom situation and they shouldn’t have allowed her to use the restroom.” I said we allow our patients to use the restroom..then you gave me a hard time about taking out my contacts, then the glasses are either incorrect or I need another frame. They could not fit me in to see the doctor that day and was told to take them home to see if I like the frames and such. I made an appointment to come back to get the prescription rechecked but I didn’t even bother showing up but I was so disappointed with her. I ended up driving to a different location 35 minutes away from home to pick out a new pair and to get rechecked. They asked me why I drove out there instead of returning to the prior location. When I told them what she said they were just as confused as I was and apologized. The location I went to allow you to use the restroom and take out your contacts when needed as any eye office should.

The staff here always go above & beyond to ensure a stellar experience, Kathleen, Ryan, & Debbie always put a smile on my face & I enjoy their professionalism & friendliness. Doctors Defever & Hickinson are WONDERFUL! They always take the time to address any concerns you may have and give you honest results while maintaining a professional, helpful manner. Would 10 out of 10 recommend this place to all of my friends & family.

I was greeted promptly and all Covid protocols were in place. The assistants took their time to explain procedures/tests/check out, etc. Dr. Defever was also great in performing the eye exam.

Wow. All I can say is 10/10 from the moment I walked in the door. I highly recommend this LensCrafters location. I made an appointment online and was able to come in the same day only a few hours later. The eye exam went quickly, and the lady helping me wasnt pushy at all and let me take my time choosing a frame. They have a wide selection as well with contemporary and trendy brands and styles . After I had some issues with my insurance, the manager Cathleen worked with me to fix them and was extremely helpful and understanding. Not to mention because it was taking a while, and I was out of change, they insisted on feeding my meter so I didnt get a ticket. The manager and employees here are very considerate and professional and I had a great experience.

Dr. Defeaver is the best optometrist Ive had. This is my second visit to him and he is very detailed and cares genuinely for his patients. The entire staff at this location is very kind, attentive and full of great welcoming energy. A huge thank you to Joe the salesperson who took the time to pick out glasses for me as I waited for my exam. I had already chosen a pair, took out my contacts and could not really see anything else for the time being (lol). He expressed that giving frame suggestions is his second favorite thing to do right behind that moment when someone can see clearly for the first time. Needless to say, I will be a forever client because of the staff. This service is not easily duplicated.

I will be back next year. The staff was great and very professional.

I like the optometrists, I came in and the manager was helpful given there are many new staff.Maria is exceptional you may want to seek her outit takes ten days for glasses so u may want to take your frames and drop them off. i spoke with the manager kathleen who was competent,professional and gave me a quote for a second pair of glasses I was interested. If you go there I would recommend working with her, Maria, or Ryan all who are outstanding.

I genuinely cannot recommend this place. When I came here orginally, the staff was very helpful and I indicated which is the only thing preventing me from giving this one star.I purchases my glasses in June and they broke in November. I did contact LensCrafters and they did respond, but I was able to fix them and was worried the exact situation that happened today would occur.Today I went in to get them looked out and the woman working refused to help me because I didnt have an extra protection plan. When I told her that was unacceptable and the glasses were less than six months old, she told me I would need to wait an hour and a half to speak to a manager. On a Thursday afternoon. So, a normal business day during normal business hours. I got my prescription and left.Overall the staff is fine but the quality of glasses is very low, and if they break after less than six months, youre SOL.

NEVER go in here to get eyeglasses adjusted or fixed if you did not purchase from here. I went in to see if I could even pay a small fee just to get my new eyeglasses adjusted and the clerk was unaccommodating and rude.I figured since I did get my eye exam at Lenscrafters it would not be a big deal to see if they could adjust my eyeglasses which were not fitting correctly. The gal was rude, acted as if I was doing such a disservice purchasing eyeglasses at a different store. She even preceded to say that if she does adjust them she may ruin them which sounded to me that she would possibly be careless and try to ruin them.I would avoid this place and the rude customer service. This actually has happened on more than one occasion with me . My other incident was a year ago replacing my lenses. They were replaced by them but ended up scratching and peeling almost a month or so later and the customer service team did not make it easy replacing the defective lenses making me feel as if I literally caused the problems when I am super careful with my eyeglasses.I ended up going down the street to SVS vision which was a step above in customer service and they took care of my issue.

Ed was extremely rude and unprofessional. I am completely disgusted by my experience. I will not recommend and will never be back. Was laughed at by this ed character multiple times... disgusting customer service

The eye doctor was good, the sales dept was very nice, but they were really reluctant to spend any time fitting the glasses when I picked them up. The service was horrible.
