A few days ago, I bought my 2022 crf110. Jeff made everything easy and hassle free and was excellent about staying in touch with me. This is the third one he has sold me, and the owner of the dealership personally delivered it to my house with his personal vehicle for free! Ive done a lot of business with the sales and parts department here. Calling them a well rounded all together dealership would be an understatement! Theyre awesome!
If your thinking of buy a bike from this dealership, request Justin!!!! He was a huge help in helping me buy my 2022 Honda Grom! He was very patient with me and Literally walked me through every single step. He was very professional in how he carried himself. 5 Stars All The Way! It was well worth the drive over to Groton (From East Hartford) I’ll definitely be returning to this dealership in the future when I’m ready for a bigger bike :D
Very helpful indeed..Brian was outstanding!...helped me find an inner tube I wanted for a donut pillow. ---- it worked perfectly, and is saving someone from a lot of pain. Six stars!
I purchased a Honda Lawn mower from NE Cycle works. The salesman was knowledge and friendly. The price was better than the big box stores and I didnt have to assemble it myself. It came with a full tank of gas.Im very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend New England Cycle Works.
Straightforward and quaint shop with a helpful staff. Joseph went above and beyond to assist me in ordering a summer riding jacket of my liking even though they didnt have anything similar in stock.
Been coming here since I was little, great store- dont buy parts online, buy local support these guys!!!
Never call you to let you know parts ordered aren’t in yet wasting time and money traveling down to get a run around. They took over 8 hours and “almost forgot” to balance a tire for a bike that takes max 15 minutes. Sales floor would give 5 stars, service department zero.
New England Cycle Works should be your number one stop for small engine equipment sales, service and parts. These folks are a refreshing change from the no-contact, no-help and know-nothing, self-service customer service that permeates the retail sector today—especially in the big box stores. Chris, the service manager in small engine repair is the best; friendly, knowledgeable and professional.
We have been going here for 10+ years. These folks are top notch in customer service and quality work. We drive from Massachusetts and are happy to do so!
Bought a Rugby Wolf 50cc from Justin. Very easy and super fast. Bought and walked out with it same day! Thanks again
Place is great dont go anywhere else.
Wide selection of bikes and other recreational vehicles. Bought a helmet here. A little pricey though.
Justin was very helpful. Super knowledgeable. Also happy that this establishment doesnt add a bunch of fees.
100% quality products!!! All terrain vehicles such as dirt bikes, four wheelers, mules, and more. They also have scooters mowers, tractors weed whackers, and lawn power equipment. Financing available/payment plans are available. Very polite, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable about machinery etc. etc.
This is definitely one of the best places to go if you’re looking for a knowledgeable and friendly staff and atmosphere. I went here to get my first ever motorcycle years ago and from day one the parts manager Alex has always taught me about what I need to be safe and successful rather then how much money he could get me to spend. I highly recommend asking for him if you’re looking for a pleasant and educational experience in the parts department; he rocks!
Jeff Atkinson made the process of purchasing my new Honda Ruckus painless. He shot me a fair price to which I immediately agreed. He wrote up the paperwork in 15 minutes and I left a deposit. The next day I came in, paid for the bike and out the door I went. I love my new Ruckus. I highly recommend New England Cycle Works and Jeff.
The guys up stairs are very knowledgeable and easy to talk with and too.
I went in for a chainsaw blade and admitted I did not know exactly what I was looking for, but I did take a Pic of the information from my blade. The young man behind the counter not only got me exactly what I needed but gave me a detailed tutorial one the info I took a picture of.GREAT customer service
I believe the question was, how was New England Cycle Works? My answer, out freaking standing. I have been doing business with these guys for a great many years and plan on continuing to do so for many more years to come.I bought my Kawasaki Turbo Charged Jet Ski from these guys with, no regrets. Their service after the sale was even more phenomenal. Mechanics were outstanding and always did the work right the first time.Their customer service and sales service team was very professional and knowledgeable. When I set out to go on the water, it was with every bit of confidence that my machine was ready. Now, its years later and I am purchasing my motorcycle gear from them. They sell number 1 brands but, they specialize in service after the sale. I highly recommend one of the areas oldest shops. They even service and sell lawn, garden and snow equipment as well. Simply the best.
Great place to get a bike, staff is all around amazing. I was moving and towing my motorcycle on a trailer and have never done that. I asked if I could pay someone to show me how to do it. They said nope just bring it in and we got you. Parts department if they dont have it will find it for you. Over all great place to get service or parts
I would NEVER go back to this place again.... con artist....went there with my crf 450.....with a hard kick....spent 2200$...got the bike home and still a hard kick...I replaced the ignition coil MYSELF....problem solved 80$ piece....smh
I has Chris for info and sale of my bike. Everything explained easy and informative. I caused my own issues over tax bill and he was more informative then tax office. Highly recommended. Also parts department is also highly recommended.
Justin my salesman was great 👍
I had recently came here because my family had recommended that if I was interested in buying a motorcycle, they were worth checking out...and they were right! From the minute I walked in the door I was greeted with exceptional service and respect. Being that I was new to riding they were awsome in helping me find a bike for me. They have so many years of experience in riding, that any question I had was given a professional answer. I have since then purchased a bike, helmet, jacket and the gloves. All I can say is if you ever need anything powersport related, make New England cycle works your first and only stop!!
So my guy was Justin. Super cool dude. Worked with me every step of the way. Very professional. Great place, great service. Definitely would go back there.
Jeff handled my purchase like a pro will definitely tell anyone looking for a bike Togo to New England Cycle Works.
This is a dealership to work with. They are very helpful.
Chris did a fantastic job with helping me pick the right zero turn, and gave me a great trade in value for my old mower. Parts also helped out with my mulching kit and recieved it in a timely fashion
Excellent service from Justin gillis
Helpful, convenient. They had what I was looking for in stock. I was able to purchase online and pick up instore. They had a large variety of stihl equipment that I had been looking for. I will start here first on my next purchase.
Great customer service and friendly employees. Justin was patient with any questions I had, and made sure that everything went smoothly.
Awesome service. Friendly and knowledgeable people. Cant wait to use my ne Honda lawn mower!
Still waiting on parts but overall a good experience.
Always friendly and helpful Ive been welcomed there
New England cycle works is Top notch store around in the whole north eastern area, unfortunately few months back i did a negative review by MISTAKE witch i am truly sorry for it, they always treated me like family and i will never ever do anything to manage the reputation of the store, Alex the parts manager is always helpful when i need help with my bike. Overall everyone is amazing, A1 service!.
My family and I were in the market for a utility vehicle that would help us to maintain our property in the summer and Winter. Jeff and New England Cycle Works analyzed our problem, offered solutions and helped us find the perfect fit for us. They even dropped off our new Mule and allowed us to use it while we waiting for aftermarket parts to come in. Great people, great service, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.
By far the BEST motorcycle shop within 100 miles of Groton . Non-pushy, educated, sales people who actually care about you and your questions. I shopped around online and found the exact same prices here in helmets and riding gear. And best of all you you get to try the gear on before you buy for proper fit . Parts guys are very knowledgeable too, which is refreshing and welcome . The sales guys are honest and call when they say they will which I did not get from other shops . I also got the best financing and price on my new Kawasaki . They have a customer for life! Thank you for the amazing experience buying from you guys!
Ppl were very helpful here justin did a very good job definitely recommend this place if you want a motorcycle
The staff and selection at New England Cycle Works is absolutely top notch. I recently purchased my fourth motorcycle from them. They will help you throughout the entire process and make it easy for you. If you are considering buying your first bike or looking to trade in your old one, New England Cycle Works should be your first choice!
I have bought two bikes from New England Cycle Works in the past year and I will keep buying from them because of the superb service from all the staff and the community that surrounds it. The motorcycle sales guys Chris and Josh have been immense help before and after each of my purchases. Whenever I had a question about the bike or self maintenence they had no problem to show me what to do from adjusting the chain to changing my fluids. When I was just getting my first bike The guys up in parts personally walked me through picking out the right gear to make sure it fit and was comfortable. If they didnt have the item I was looking for they would order it and match the lowest price I could reasonably find on the Internet. It wasnt just the staff that has helped me but the regulars at the shop as well by giving me tips on what oil to use and what filter to buy. I also had the pleasure to attend a track day with some of the staff and other customers. Through the whole day staff members like Chris were coaching me how to ride to my full potential on and off the track. The day as a whole was an experience that showed the sense of community that surrounds New England Cycle Works. I highly recommend these guys if you are new and getting into motorcycling or even if you have been riding your entire life. This place has more to offer than a shiny new bike and that is why I will be with them as long as I can.
Great locally owned and operated business!
I have been doing business with another area Honda dealer for many years, but they recently lost interest in Goldwing riders so I decided to try someone new and I am so glad I did. I just bought my new 2019 Goldwing DCT Tour from NECW and I have to say the entire experience from sales to parts to service was outstanding. Everyone there treated me like a member of the family and went way above and beyond to make sure I got what I was looking for. This was the best motorcycle buying experience I have had in my 40+ years of riding. Many thanks to Jeff Atkinson and the entire team at NECW.
Talk to Chris about the new Goldwing. He also showed me 2018 that they are converting in to trike. Awesome looking bike.
They do good work on my Honda Scooter, but only what you ask them to do. If you ask for an oil change, that is what you get. They wont voluntarily look up what service your bike needs at a certain mileage. Oh, and expect to pay a somewhat pricey labor rate. I had an oil change with filter( 2 quarts), moved and reglued a hand grip, and replaced the right angle valve stem in both tires for $261. Sound like a bargain?
Great place, great service. Thanks for everything Jeff Atkinson!
Had a pleasant experience visiting their shop looking for a helmet, everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful.Didnt catch his name, but the person helping me was very knowledgeable, taught me a few things, showed me a variety of helmets of varying prices without trying to upsell or laying on the pressure. When Im looking for a bike, this will be one of my first stops.
Best motorcycle dealership in CT, everyone form parts to sales are professional and courteous. Wiling to go the extra mile for you
Its too expensive
Ive had a good experience here with my motorcycle and chainsaw. They remember me and know their product well. The work was done in a timely manner even though theres a seasonal rush on power equipment. I was pleased and Ill go back there.
Parts department is the greatest. Most knowledgeable staff around. Ten thumbs up
Extremely helpful and motivated to satisfy my consumer needs!
Chris was so helpful with our entire moped purchase. We are new to the scooter market and he guided us through the entire process. He recommended Abby at Geico who saved us a ton on our insurance. He taught our 16 year old how to drive it!! We were lucky to meet Chris!
Great staff! Been a customer since the mid-nineties and theyve always been helpful. Prices are competitive and they support the riding community through sponsoring and participating in events.
Great people. Who love to help. Answered all my questions, and let me know of some i didnt ask. Super work
Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff.
Outstanding Customer Service !!I purchased a used 2012 Kawasaki Concours. Sales Manager Chris Cann, Mark Werner and the Parts Department, Service Manager Mike Church and the Service Department delivered customer service at the highest level. They all went way above and beyond to make sure my bike was perfect prior to delivery. - THANK YOU !!!!
Just went to look for future buy, friendly people not just for sales but to inform you whats best for a beginner
I have always experienced excellant and courteous service there. Have bought several mowers, weed wackers and leaf blowers there. Highly recommend
Extremely rude saleman. only spoke to one of them, would not give me his name, and approached myself on the first visit when looking at beginner bikes and told me to stop kidding myself, and someone like me could never afford the bikes they had on their floor. Second time, I bring my best friend to look at some bikes hoping he was just having an off day, did not even attempt to answer any questions are simply told me to do more research on bikes before coming to a dealership. Piss poor sales tactics. Definitely taking my business elsewhere, he obviously does not understand people.
The people in the parts department are very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me get exactly what I needed which turned out to not be what I came in thinking I needed. So no wasted time or money having to come back.
Had what I needed at very reasonable price.
Very happy with the service I got from sale and parts. The guys are all well versed in their fields knowledge and have helped me solve many issues. The prices are always right. I would highly recommend the sales guys at selling power equipment at fair if not lowest prices and the parts guys are savy with with info and speedy service and turn around time on ordered parts. The taller, younger kidd with the hat in parts is a little different but nice enough.
Always friendly, helpful people. I never feel rushed or that I asked a foolish question. Fair pricing and great service department.
Great experience with the service dept. Mike and his staff are very professional, very reliable, neat, efficient and pleasant. I drive by places closer to me because of the quality at this location.
I couldnt describe how honest and professional those people are specially Chris !!I ride motorcycle for many years . And I travel almost everywhere in United States .Unfortunately you dont find places like this anymore .They help me a lot, without asking any money or any favor .I live in Manhattan New York and I own 2 BMW and 1 Ducati . And I will be willing to drive 3 hours just to do business with this place .Trust me you wont regret it ask for Chris . One of the most professional Guy I ever deal with !!!!Thank you Chris for all your help !Cheers
Chis Cann was most helpfull in my entire purchase of a Stihl weed wacker battery Operated. I will come back for the blower and possibly a lawn mower. Great guy great company. Thomas K McKenna.
Absolute joke the whole sales staff and owner included it’s a shame they’re the only Honda retailer close by for bikes
Another excellent deal. Cant beat this place.
Hubby got a great deal
Ive lived around the corner for several years and visited this business many times. Not once have I actually been pleased with their service. And today put the cherry on their crap flavored cake. I went in looking for a new throttle cable. They found me the parts and I spent $40. Get home... wrong part. Go back and they exchange the cables for a different set, which the person that sold them to me was slightly condescending. Get... still dont fit. I go back for a third time to just return the parts seeing as how 1. They got me the wrong part twice, and 2. Wouldnt help me find a diy throttle cable kit. Well, turns out, as is not so clearly made apparent, the receipt says they cant exchange or return special orders. Well, they screwed me over once and had no problems exchanging it. Now theyve screwed me three times. And the third was based on the presumption that theyd return it since they exchanged the parts the first time. So, I wont be going back. Nor will I refer any of my friends to this business; Ill recommend they avoid their condescending employees and deceitful business practices.
Always find what i look for
They do have a excellent selections of motorcycle and it would be nice if they have more selection of the Kimco scooters
Best parts department around. Been using these guys since 98 and they have always always been good to me
Visited the power product dept today... No greeting, no one asked if I needed help.. Bad impression, purchase made elsewhere
My visit was great looking at that 2017 INDIAN.. THANK YOU
The best experience I had at a bike shop I have bought 8 bikes from them sales service and parts are awesome they try hard to help you into a motocycle and keep it running and up to snuff and safe
Last year I purchased two new bikes off Chris. It was a pleasant, professional and fun experience all the way through. He told me that I would be back next year to get a bigger bike, which I of course denied. 12 months later and I bought a bigger bike from him! His no pressure, personable style of helping you choose what you want, rather than what he would like you to buy was awesome and refreshing. From the mechanics to the parts department, I have had nothing but fabulous service at every step. When I was looking to upgrade it was a natural thing to go only to NECW. I trust them and feel that I will always get a solid deal and a professional service - and it is what I have always recieved. From maintaining my bikes, my jetskis and even my house generator, they have always made things easy and deliver on timeI would honestly recommend them to anyone.
Jeff Welcome, Chris Orlinski and the staff at New England Cycle Works have shown our group how civic-minded they are. They were instrumental in getting our veterans fund-raiser off the ground and were more than generous to our effort.Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter CT-A appreciate all the help and support they have provided us over the past year.Bob Boissevain, DirectorGWRRA Chapter CT-A
Jeremy was very happy he got free stickers
They lie about out the door price figures. I made the mistake of trusting New england cycle works and investing a my time and energy in dealing with Chris Senior, self purported owner, for a week. What I got was jerked around. my precious time wasted and bogus prices in them playing dealer games. Time I could have spent riding. I asked Chris Senior his best OTD price for a 2018 Pioneer 1000-5 LE and he told me, in writing $18,760 but to wait because he wanted to see how much cheaper a 2017 model was (his idea.) for my consideration and hed get that to me tomorrow. (Saturday before fathers day) well he never did, . Fathers Day comes around. finally monday I ask him whats the news?he says its too far away so forget what he was thinking.meanwhile 2 CanAm dealers have great offers for me on a defender xtp and a maverick trail, and I have other honda offers out of state that have delivery to my property for little less so Im thinking I just may give chris my business here as hes much closer if I ever have problems and, like I said, Im purchasing more power equipment for my land and MX track amd enduro trails Im cutting, so a nearby dealer could be a benefit BUT when I ask if his $18,760 OTD price can have delivery in it. He takes over 4 hours to respond, and the gives me this were having availability issues at that price (none of the power dealers further south are mind you) as I told you before, its based on availability!!!! a big fat lie. 1. he NEVER said that. 2. he gave me that price late friday and told me to wait because he wanted to beat it with a 2017 pioneer 1000-5 LE for my consideration. then flakes saturday. closed fathers day. Text him back monday. tells me nevermind. then he ignores my text all day and then makes up a lie about having told me its based on availability. were having availability issues at that price... Im not an idiot, and I dont play games that some of the lower quality dealers like to play, I know when ive been lied to and when Im being jerked around.I could have been riding and harvesting trees on my property, but I wasted it in trying to buy through new england cycle werks and talking to Chris Senior who was very inconsiderate towards my time and insulting to my intelligence by trying to play me. there are much better dealers out there and unlike Chris Senior of New England Cycle Works, they honor the OTD price they quote. If you like having your time and precious days in the riding season wasted, while an inferior dealer plays games and wastes your time with bogus pricing they have no intention of honoring just to see where your interested so they can jack up the price from there then this is the place. Im building a motocross track on my land and will be acquiring a fleet of power equipment and toys, first acquisition is a utv in the 15-20k range. even with the amount of business I have to give, they wasted my time and jerked me around. I dont see why they wouldnt waste yours too.Bad prices. No discounts on stihl accessories which have the highest markup. I go in looking to buy a pioneer 1000-5 and after talking to chris and expressing my intent and requesting pricing I picked up some stihl accessories (which have the highest markup and fat margins) I never paid full price for my stihl equipment or accessories before and certainly being a ready buyer in the 15k-20k range for a first purchase with this dealer I wouldnt expect that to start now. However they nicled me full price. no discount. not a dime. that was the second red flag. At the time I figured oh we, I have a lot of forested land to tend to, they dont want my business, i wont purchase anymore stihl products here. the main attraction is honda kawasaKi dealer, and getting a great deal there. i didnt come here for stihl stuff, they just happened to have a peavey on the shelf I wanted.I expect people to honor my time and their word and I do the same. simple. Unfortunately with New England cycle werks the experience was one of dishonest dealings and wasting my time and lying
They are very prejudice against gay woman so try to go some where else! Who know what else they are against!!
Excellent, staff was very knowledgeable and professional. Great job.
Great product, good knowledge on the product, and service and pick up and delivery too!
I hate giving New England Cycle Works even one star. Absolute worse customer service I have ever seen. From the moment I walked in, I wanted to leave but didnt because the bike I wanted was there. I could make this review 10 pages long with my experience, but why bother. Just go somewhere else!
Justin was super helpful, when i found out they didn’t have any cbr500rs to look at, he took my number down and sent me a message saying they are building one that I could go and try out once its built. This was all within a few hours
Best prices around. Great experience with sales and service departments.
Short wait time gor servife
The worst experience in my buying career….Josh and Jeff were the most unreliable people I have ever dealt with in my own 20 year career as a dealer in a similar industry. The two of them could not even decide on how they wanted to get paid. The deal changed at least 5 times. It was so bad that no matter the end result, I will be selling this beautiful 2015 Goldwing just to get the bad taste out of my mouth. Wish I had spent my $32,000.00 with someone else. Run Forest Run. DRIVE ANYWHERE BUT TO GROTON NEW ENGLAND CYCLE WORKS. I WOULD NOT BUY A STICKER FROM THEM NEVERMIND A GOLDWING! If I knew then what I know now! This is not buyers remorse, the Bike Rocks even though their top flight crew put two scratches in it before delivery. I would recommend the bike to anyone and everyone. The only fault of Honda is not having a screening process for the people representing the Honda name.
Good local dealer with repair shop.
GREATE
Excellent service and advice picking out boots.
