Great service! Anytime we have a problem with our pool and hot tub Karen gives us great advice. This place definitely saves you money in the long run with their wealth of knowledge!!

I give them zero stars. June 1st we purchased a variable flow valve assembly from Chevron. They said this would fit our pool. After 12 bags of zeo-brite sand,chemicals, 20 laterals, two towers for the laterals. Jimmy the pool contractor came to our house, was rude, said to solve the problem we needed to purchase a pool filter (600-$800). NOT! We contacted a person via FaceTime after he reviewed the pictures we sent him and he told us in 10 minutes what the problem was with our pool. The part we needed for our pool cost us $150. We needed to replace the variable flow valve assembly. The one Chevron sold us was not the correct one for our pool. We didnt get our pool up and running until mid August. 😡 once the pool was up and running we contacted Karen, the owner and she said she needed to talk to her brother because her nor Jimmy couldnt understand why that part didnt wouldnt work. She only refunded us for the original part we purchased from them in June. I advise everyone to get a second opinion before counting on Chevron to repair their pool. I told Karen I will never do business with them again.

I have spent a great deal of money the last few years with Ch*vron Pools in Grove City, especially last summer. They sold me a reel for a solar cover that wasnt correct. I returned it, and the one I actually needed had to be ordered for twice the price of the original. I gave my CC for the difference. After several weeks the owner, Karen, said it wasnt coming and refunded my $247. This was in July. On JANUARY 21ST, six months later, Karen texted me to say she refunded me too much money and that I owed her $99 for the original purchase! I dont. She proceeded to argue with me and threatened to involve the CC company which is fine with me. My bank statement shows that I am correct. What business owner in their right mind would call up a customer 6 months later to haggle over $99??? After keeping my $$ all summer and never delivering the product? She has a terrible reputation, which I ignored because her store is close by. She is obviously bat sh*t crazy. Not to mention a bad bookkeeper. I had to cancel my CC due to her threats. Avoid this insane woman and her overpriced supplies like the plague.Get your restraining order ready.

They most likely have what you are looking for, but are way overpriced! The manager makes you feel like your bothering her!

Have everything I need and very good customer service

Went through them to get the number for someone to put my liner in. After a brief conversation (the girl did not want to give me his number because he ONLY did liners if you bought them from them) I called Jim to install my liner. OMG what a mistake!!! I had to schedule water delivery a few hours after he was supposed to be at my home, didnt show up, didnt return call until 2 hours after the water delivery time was scheduled for. Told me he forgot about my appointment!! Had to reschedule with him and reschedule with water delivery. He comes out the next day, 1 hour late, put liner in, did not cut any holes for main drain, return, or skimmer. He left that up to me to do. Called Chevron to let her Karen know and she said he was not an employee of hers, however I explained that Yes he indeed is, as you send him out to do liners for you, and you only give out his number for your business, therefore he works for YOU!! I called just to give her a heads up that he was not the best liner guy and she might want the info, but she was so rude to me I will never go back to that store. EVERYONE CHECK THE INTERNET FOR PARTS AND SUPPLIES FOR YOUR POOL, YOU CAN GET THEM MUCH CHEAPER THAN THIS ROB SHOP!!!

While still a fairly new pool owner (it came with our new house) my husband and I have made several stops to Chevron for help and advice, and EVERY single time we do, the staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Now we are looking to replace our pool liner and continue on with our regular pool maintenance and we will continue to utilize Chevron Pools as the great resource it is. We always appreciate it!

DO NOT GO TO CHEVRON. Id give zero stars if I could. Karen told me she had an installer for me oscar who i thought worked for or with chevron. Come to find out he was NOT certified and chevron had no idea who these people actually were. One of their names is Teresa holcomb miller. They took my money and wont return it. I have messages from Chevron that they also did horrible work on other peoples pools as well. Customers who spend thousands of dollars on your pools do not deserve to get money stolen or their pools damaged by fake installers who you have not vetted. What an absolutely horrible and dangerous business practice. Chevron will not help me or tell me how many other people including myself have had money taken by these people. Ive asked and have been ignored as im trying to find out how many others besides myself are owed money so we can at least locate these people to get our money back legally and karen at chevron refuses to answer or help me.

They know a lot about pools but man you are going to pay for to!!! A 25 lb 3in Corine tablets are 99 dollars and the Clorox 25 lb 3in tablets is 70 dollars! I have used chevron products and Clorox products and they work just the same don’t waste your money on there mark ups!

Awful place with awful service. I recommend using intheswim.com, you get the same service at half the cost and at the convenience of ordering from your own home.

This is my new go to pool place shop from now on they explain things so well and don’t make you feel like your being annoying with questions and they were kinda busy when I was in today! Awesome customer service and prices!

I have called 3 separate times and asked to speak to a manager and NO one will call me back. I treated so badly from the staff and was so embarrassed I had other customers approach me in the parking lot to apologise to me and stated how they wont be returning and neither will i. This is where I get all my pool supplies I cant even begin to calculate the money I have spent in that business and I will not be returning. But I would like to know why the Manager wont do their job and return a phone call.

I went to this store because of the decent reviews, and because it was close to me -was pretty disappointed (shouldn’t have overlooked the other bad reviews) . Staff made me feel very rushed (seemed like they would rather not have me in the store) and weren’t helpful in explaining anything when I asked for options on chlorine. I am a new pool owner (came with the house) and still learning how to maintain it and did not appreciate the attitude I received when asking questions. The item I came for was marked up $16.50 more than what stores like target are selling online ($23.49 online and $39.99 at this store). I expect some mark up but that much is excessive, on top of it the employee didn’t tell me the price till I asked as she was ringing me out (she got it for me from the back- and again it was all very rushed). I left feeling pretty confused and figured worst case I would return the product since I felt like I just got played, but nope- attached to my receipt were some pretty limiting return policies that were not told to me as I was checking out, and instead just slipped into my bag. I would be charged a 20% re-shelving fee for the product I came for and cannot return the shock, which at the end of the day makes the hassle of trying to return it not even worth the effort for me. I don’t appreciate predatory practices and won’t be shopping here again after that experience.

They had all I needed at a fair price.

They tested my water with a simple test strip. Sold me 100.00 worth of product. It didnt work. Tried to sell me more. Took my business to hilliard. Actual test equipment, bought the products that are needed for half the price. Clear water now.

Karen and her staff is great and knows their stuff. She test my pool water when i have problems . did I mention for free .which helps me quit the guessing game and saves me money.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Brought a water sample in to have it tested and purchased the chemicals they said our pool required. Waited 3 days and water didn’t change. Called and asked what the problem would have been and they said “the chemicals probably evaporated because we put them in while the sun was still out” I called another store to confirm this info and the guy laughed saying he’s never heard of that. Took a water sample to them and they did a 9 point check and was very thourough on what chemicals we actually needed. Now our pool is up and running. Will never go back to chevron pools again and will tell everyone of our experience. Take your business to LESLIE’S on bethel. Awesome customer service and KNOWLEDGEABLE!

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU USE THIS COMPANY.I contacted chevron pools to have an above ground pool liner purchased and installed. When I first contacted the company I explained to the manager Karen that I was not sure of the measuments of the pool. She stated that before I order a liner that she would send her guy out to take measurements. The measurements buy the person she sent out came to 25 ft 6 in x 48 in deep. I was then told by her that the closest liner she could find was a 24 ft liner but assured me that it would fit due to liners can stretch. I had never spoken to the person who had measured the pool at this time assuming the person who measured my pool was a technician for her company I proceeded with trust and stopped into the store to order the pool liner that she explained would fit. Then was told the 500 for installation would be due upon completion of the liner install. A few days later early in the morning I received a call from a gentleman named Jim. He stated that the liner was in and he was going to install the liner that day. Once I got home from work the old liner had been removed from the pool and I had been told the bad news that the new liner will not fit. After a brief discussion with the person who was attempting the install he stated that he would take that liner back to Karen have her swap it for a different liner and be back out within a few days to install. Karen was contacted and proceeded to try to sell us a 27 ft round pool liner and charge us more money for the new liner. I immediately requested a full refund for the old liner before I moved forward and this is when things went very wrong. She stated that she wasnt going to refund the money nor was she going to pay the extra for the second liner. She said that this was an issue for the installer. Now I realized that she had contracted out the work of the pool liner install without giving us any references or list of potential installers to choose from. She then became very aggrevated with the installer that she had obviousley chosen on her own will for us and said that she was not going to use him for future business. I asked her what do we do about the swimming pool because it is disassembled and she stated that was not her problem. Finally after a huge argument with her in her store she threw her hands up had a mental break down and refunded us our money for the old liner. I then proceeded to contact the so called installer who was at my house and asked him what was going on with the situation. He stated that he had given her his card number for the difference of the liner and had purchased the liner that did not fit off of her already. This is where it becomes fishy. Bottom line is I am left with no liner so had to very easily purchase the right size liner on line. My pool has been disassembled for a week. The wall foam has been destroyed and I now have no nuts bolts or hardware to reassemble my pool. This could have been a very solvable issue if the actual owner of the company could be contacted. But all I get told is that he dont care he has cancer and i wont even get a call back from him. I will definitely be contacting the better business bureau and also if my pool has any damage from being disassembled for to long I will pursue for damages. It erks me that someone can just destroy property and not assume blame or take credit for not fully knowing their job. In this case I hope that future customers of this business sees and understands that there are real businesses that believe in repeat customer and quality service. This one however is going to go down hill very quickly with the attitudes from the manager and the laziness of the employees. The lack of knowledge in the business as well. PLEASE Think twice and get a second opinion before using this business. Double check everything. And be aware. This situation has the potential to cost me thousands of dollars if not handled properly.
