Lovely! Such great service. The lady there was so kind and helpful. I love the very boho vibe, and they even have some cute vintage stuff. There are some pretty handmade items there, and the clothing is sewn back together so these pieces can be saved. Not only is the clothing aesthetic, but it saves our planet. ( There are also dressing rooms if you want to try clothing on )

Amazing shop and wonderful owner. At last minute I decided to go to prom and ordered a dress only a few weeks before the event. Sadly, it needed alterations and every place I went to said it would not be ready in time. Luckily Sara was accommodating and happy to work on my dress even though the dance was quickly approaching. She is incredibly talented and so kind to all her customers. I will 100% be coming here again!!! I highly recommend.

The owner is extremely rude and uncaring. I would not recommend bringing anything here to be tailored, especially if it’s something important to you. I called her to see if she’d be able to help me with my bridesmaids dress for my sisters wedding. On the phone she said there would be no issues with getting it back to me by June 19th. I told her I had ordered shoes for the dress and could get it to her Monday, the 7th. She said great. I then text her over the weekend reminding her and showing my commitment as she had requested. She then responded to instead drop off the dress off Thursday or Friday... I agreed and waited. Then on Wednesday night, when asking how long it would be until I got it back, she preceded to tell me it would take over a week (which would be past the 19th)... I reminded her it was my dress to be my sisters maid of honor at her wedding on the 19th. Her response, knowing I had already been in a time crunch from the first time I called her, was I should probably find somewhere else to take it, giving me ONE week left.. I then expressed the unfortunate situation I was now in by spending time waiting to give the dress to her (who I thought had cared and had committed to helping me). She then told me I was rude and to go find someone else to take it to. The “Good luck” in her text was a nice touch. All I was doing was merely expressing my concern and confusion on being screwed over in this situation. If you’re going to mix up your clients and be extremely unorganized, the least you can do is be NICE to them and have some decency. Good luck Grateful Threads.

Have had Sarah make me some covers and do alterations for me and she does great work and is fast and reasonable. She is my go to for any alterations I need done. The shop is lovely and has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

My wife and I were in town on vacation and needed to find some clothes for a dress-up party when we got home so we stopped by. The woman who was working in there, I figure she is the owner, was AWESOME!! Super helpful and nice. My wife found a dress she liked and wanted to buy it but it was a little big. The woman working there offered to alter the dress for her right then and she did it at no cost! They had some great clothes for a great price. I would highly recommend stopping by and check it out.

I went in today 10/16/2017 around 12:15pm. I seen a sign that they are currently taking clothing. I walked in with a bag full of clothes of course in great condition. A lady with dreads helped me out (Im guessing shes the owner). Did not greet me or said hello. She then started to go through it. She was also on the phone which is a distraction and to me it seemed she was just pulling things out not really looking through it. She didnt want it then gave me the bag back with no explanation as to why she didnt want it...She didnt seem very GREATFUL. So I went to California cool and they were more than happy to take the clothes that was in great condition. The gentlemen that helped me there was more than grateful. 😊

Love to pop in every couple weeks to see what treasures I can find. Great quality clothes and super cool owners. Theyre always beyond helpful!

I brought some new items into the shop .. the woman didn’t even bother to look through them but rather just rudely scoffed and said “oh No I only take Swven for Mankind and named a bunch of other brand names ‘ I had some very nice purses .. Liz Claiborne brand new .. and several other nice things and she basically just laughed in my face and said Family Thruft is down the street “ if my things aren’t what she’s looking for that’s fine but to be treated so tactlessly rude is bad karma .. I thought the name of her shop was Grateful Threads .. maybe not so grateful.. and I found a very nice shop in Arroyo Grande down from Figueroa MT where the owner was very nice and compassionate !!

I cant give a review for the inside. It looked nice in there through the window. When I went to check it out the place was closed but had no closed or be back soon sign. Its business info online said it should have been open. It was a little irksome, so just fair warning they may not be open when they say.
