Super friendly service. Lovely restaurants within. Delicious breakfast. The beach is small but there are enough pools on the grounds to enjoy. Peaceful, there appears to be only a few guests but the parking lot is full. A retreat from the hustle and bustle of the metro area. Rooms are spacious and beds are fair and they need a microwave in the room, other than that lovely place 💯

Everything was excellent with the exception of breakfast on Saturday. There was a lack of personnel and when we arrived for our reservation at 10:30am we were asked to wait 20 additional minutes because they were short of servers.Nevertheless, we spoke with the restaurants manager, who gave us a table. The person in charge of serving the buffet, Luis, went above and beyond all expectations giving the extra mile to provide us an excellent service. His sense of ownership was amazing. You need more personnel like Luis at the restaurant.

I was recommended the Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa a couple of times, and I can honestly say... Im already looking for an excuse to return. The hotel itself has a very tropical relax vibe. No loud music, no loud people.. just a place for total relaxation and peace of mind. The rooms were nice, my only issue was with the hot water (it was mostly cold). Other than that, the pools were clean, the surroundings were well kept with a beautiful lanscape. If you need to get away... Copamarina is the place!

Sometimes I even hate to share when I find something I want to keep all to myself! If you want a place to stay, swim, eat, relax, walk the beachfront, reconnect with your loved one, sleep, receive amazingly friendly service with perfect paradise like views; stay here. I agree with other reviewer’s that it is not a new place but I never agree something needs to be updated or new to be perfect. Our room was very clean, our bed was so comfortable, and the NI Spa and the restaurant treated us like royalty. If you are looking for a lot of things to do outside of the resort or activities in the resort outside of what I mentioned then this resort might not be the place for you but if you are looking for the things I mentioned above you will not be disappointed. It is the opposite of what you will find in San Juan as it is quiet, slow, and peaceful. In all fairness we were here in the off season so there were very few guests. I am not one to relax but we will do this all over again in the future!

Very nice hotel in a very secluded location in PR. All the staff, from the bellboy, maintenance, front desk, housekeeping to the parking attendant, were very courteous and friendly. Is not a luxurious hotel but a very nice hotel with nice surroundings, at a great price. This is a secret jewel of the south coast of PR. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place, relaxing and quiet. Perfect for a family get away trip. Employees are great in customer service. Areas are clean, rooms are clean, food is good and security is on point. You get a complete disconnection of the outer world, a whole different experience. My family and i loved it and we definitely be back.

Such a beautiful resort. The staff are helpful and professional. The restaurant serves delicious food and you never leave hungry. The facility is clean and well maintained. This facility is very remote and quiet. Near beautiful hiking trails and easy drive to other beaches and activities. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms need updating. No room service. Food at Palmas restaurant was not the best, I expected restaurant quality food for the price. Also when we booked the reservation there were no construction advisory. There were two constructions going on all day. No covid protocol. No sanitizer anywehere around the hotel, especially the restaurant.

To say it was phenomenal is an understatement. I absolutely love visiting copamarina and staying here when we visit Puerto Rico. This was our 3rd stay here and as always it was flawless. The staff is EXTREMELY accommodating and kind. It is family friendly and clean. I would recommend everyone of all ages to stay here.

We keep coming back to our beloved Copamarina for family vacations. It gets better every time. We absolutely love it! We will forever remember Luis, always taking such good care of us at the restaurant. What an amazing and loving man! We will be back soon!

This hotel was way overpriced for the s service and amenities you still have to pay for. Not to mention the two hour drive to and from the airport. We purchased the “romance package” which put us in a room with thin walls next to screaming toddlers next door. Like this isn’t romantic at all. I asked for a refund but because it was prepaid they couldn’t change it. The Romance package is an extra $50/day and it included a welcoming bottle of champagne and supposedly a bed pull down that we did not receive. I talked to the front desk and they said “sorry” and didn’t fix it. They have no vending machines and the ice machines were broke down. Everything closes at 10pm. There are two restaurants and one of them is only open on the days we weren’t there. The casual restaurant had extremely slow service. It took two hours for a pizza and a couple of beers.We were there for a wedding and it was a disaster. Do not plan one here. We won’t be back. I guess a good thing was I felt safe.

Wonderful place that I didnt want to leave and look forward to returning. In addition to the beauty of the place, I thoroughly enjoyed two nearby hikes: one to the fort and the other along the coastline. Kayaking and sailing to Gilligans Island where also wonderful experiences. Great place to do nothing or a little bit of something.

The services and room were excellent. The surroundings and amenities were plentiful and clean. The beach and sand however needs to be cleaned up. Instead of sand, the sea floor and beach was more like mud. In spite of the many amenities and beautiful surrounding and the multiple times I have preferred to stay at this resort, I and my family probably will choose to go elsewhere until they fix up the beach

The biggest disclosure is that the beach location is not the crystal clear waters you expect from Puerto Rico. The hotel otherwise makes up for it with extremely well kept and spacious pools, poolside drink service, games (ping pong, giant connect 4, cornhole) and water activities such as kayaking and paddle boards. They also rent bikes and there are several hiking trails nearby. Considering the pool and food are main attractions, the food could be amped up a bit. Very normal menu items and food okay not wow. The beachfront restaurant does make it all better. Breakfast buffet is a great value and server is amazing, very dedicated to his work. They will accommodate some vegetarian requests. We go 1-2 times per year when we visit the island and will continue to do so. Thank you Copamarina for the great retreat!

Great experience! Its a beautiful resort with very cute rooms. Would definitely visit again. However, be aware that the beach in the resort is not very usable for swimming in the sea. They have a pier that you can walk over to swim in the sea.

This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. Ive been coming here for years. If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it Im sure!The staff was excellent. Beautiful place, lots of pools of different sizes! The restaurant on site has a wide variety of food and a childrens menu too. Theres a little convenience type site on site but it doesnt have too much. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The beds were comfortable.

Paradise. They thought of everything. Just beautiful. Pools, rooms, grounds, beach - all meticulously kept. The restaurants were terrific and well-priced. Live music was a nice touch. Bonfire was amazing at night - and movie night was so cool! It was very quiet, with a calm vibe. Staff superior. My only complaint? That we didnt stay long enough!! Nearby town of Yauco had some great restaurants, cafes and sights. Loved!

Excellent service. Perfectly clean facilities; the staff always attentive and helpful; Excellent treatment at all times. Special thanks to Luis Tortillas service at the Sunday buffet breakfast as well as to the SPA therapists Milagros and Meredith, who gave us a phenomenal service. My husband and I went for 8days for our honeymoon. We rented a car and drove from San Juan. Beautiful drive and once we arrived staff was incredibly friendly. Food was good but we went to local eats as well. Beautiful grounds and pools were great. Spa pedicures were fantastic. Hope to be back.

Excellent stay. Must improve the service in the restaurant area. I do not understand why not allow me to smoke a cigar on the beach where there was no one less than 100 feet away. Everything else was very good.

Besides an ant infestation that got into our food and the lack of hot water in the showers it was a great experience! All the staff were friendly and helpful, location was nice and quiet/secluded. I definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to visit PR

We always have such a great time at Copa Marina. The service is perfect, the rooms are perfect, the staff is amazing. We just love this resort and everything it has to offer.

DO NOT BOOK! The service me and my husband received was horrible. I booked their romance package and did not receive any of the amenities promised with this package except a bottle of champagne. The customer service was terrible. Decor in rooms are old and over used nothing like the pictures. Loose animals on the resort mainly around the restaurant watching guest eat. The only good service we received during our stay was massages which was over priced with resort fees. FYI, this resort is 2 hours away from airport and round trip shuttle service provided by the resort is over $400. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!

Love the place!! We go back over and over again. This time, we had a problem with the air conditioner before going to bed and they came up and fix it really fast. No other problems. Food delicious, clean rooms, very nice employees, small parking. Recommend.

Its been a number of years since we were last at this resort. We remembered it fondly, and selected it for my wifes 70th birthday celebration. Its still a beautiful resort, and most of the staff is very attentive and friendly. However, we were very disappointed with our trip. While clean, the rooms desperately need an upgrade. We could only open three of the six drawers in the dresser. Our room was serviced between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm each day. Waiting for the room to be serviced meant no hot water for showers before dinner. We did not have maid service our last full day, allowing us to take our showers earlier in the afternoon, while there was still hot water, The real reason that we did not have maid service at that point in our vacation, was not because of a desire for hot water. It was the mysterious disappearance of Schedule 2 medication from our room. I guess that we should have put them in the safe,

The resort was very nice, clean and the staff was friendly. I went to primarily scuba dive which was great, but had a problem finding things to do in the area (excursions) other than the pool and beach. So, if you just want peace and quiet with-out much externally of the resort, then this is you place. I only ate at the Las Palmas in the Hotel, Food was decent...I give it 3 out of 5.

One of the most beautiful stays on earth. Tropical paradise along side the Carribean Seaside. So beautiful that I proposed [with ring in hand] to CZ on the white sandy beach. Memories to last our lifetime. 😍

The resort is amazing. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The resort is BEAUTIFUL, and the staff is so nice! We left one place that was disappointing and we were nervous about Copamarina. We were pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and every inch of the resort! The only complaints I have would be that the rooms don’t have microwaves, and the dangerous road to get to the resort. The road is wide enough for one car. We thought it was a one-way and we were terrified when cars were coming. This is really dangerous. We were on pins and needles every time we left the resort. Overall, I would go back a million times over.

We loved the relaxed feel of Copa Marina. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Grounds were wonderful. We will return.The friendly four-legged friends won me over. Makes this place more warm and welcoming.

I’m only going with two stars because the grounds are beautiful. However, the check in process is ridiculous. Plan to wait and get ate by mosquitoes while no one acknowledges you. The employees all seem confused about what is process and protocol so don’t expect any help there. Also plan to pay for extremely overpriced food at the one restaurant that is mostly open unless it’s overrun by bees. $16 for a plain cheeseburger, $14 for 2 fish empanadas and that’s the cheap stuff. They do have another restaurant but It’s rarely open and even more overpriced. Bring your own snacks! No microwave so hope you can live on chips. Prepare yourself for an uncomfortable mattress as well. And know that the property allows extremely loud parties to go on til after midnight. Also the big pool is under construction and the beach is not well maintained and very shallow, no good swimming near the resort. If you send your kids to paddle board or kayak know they get zero instruction or safety information. I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me. The only nice things I have to say is the grounds are pretty and restaurant manager was nice.

A beautiful, trendy and peaceful spot where you’ll be amazed from the moment you walk in. The hotel is nice and the facilities are cozy and extremely well landscape. Restaurant could use more variety and better choices on their menu but the atmosphere is excellent. A hidden gem.

Our check-in was at 3pm. And my family and i got our rooms 3 hours after, the beach was horrible. Muddy algae and the water was grey, everything is overpriced so we had to look for some cheper options outside of the hotel. The landscape, food, drink, pools was awesome. The bartenders were nice but in the kayak and paddle board the gave you no instructions nothing at all. I had to use a medic kit because a jellyfish stung me and they had no medicine available so I had to take the only thing they had. Not a bad view but wouldnt stay here again.

I booked for a full weeks stay and left early. I could’ve booked at a regular hotel for a cheaper price and same experience. I was super disappointed when I got to to resort and was told the website was not updated at all. For example; do not rely on the restaurants food. Options are VERY limited. Only two restaurants and the “fine dining” was every other day. Which was not worth 60$ meal. Food came out cold every time. The breakfast was the same few options every morning (buffet). Reserving for these can sometimes be inconvenient timing. Since I read online all of the dining options I decided not to rent a car, had I known this I would’ve been more prepared and rented a car. Taxis & uber’s are rarely available.. The shuttle only takes you to and from the airport. The only excursions available where the kayaks and sunset cruise which were nice but like I said I planned on staying on resort/close by and the others weren’t available due to covid which is okay but please update the website!!! When I checked out early I was penalized for my last nights stay and when asked why I wanted to leave all I got was a “sorry the website isn’t updated”.

I’m honestly a little surprised at all the 5 star reviews for this place, especially given the price.The beach is basically not swimmable due to heavy seaweed and 2 ft deep water. The larger of the 2 pools is closed. The service is absurdly slow, it took us 45 minutes to check in with a reception line of just 3 other desperate families. The cleaning service is pretty sub par, towels streaked with brown. When it rains an extremely distinct sewage smell fills the room. And the restaurant food is bland/greasy.On a positive note, the location is good and there’s a pretty efficient kayak rental service. If you get lucky with calm weather it’s a beautiful experience kayaking in the ocean.

What we especially love about this resort is how luxurious it is yet it never failed to give us the ample coziness and the coastal vibes everyone is looking for in an ocean view property. The comfortable king size bed and the shower is heaven sent especially after a few days of sailing! Our favorite is the private patio which gave us the sweetest view of the sunrise and sunset.We stayed here last January 2019 but unfortunately wasnt able to put a review.

Copamarina resort was a pleasant place to stay. Outside of everything you could possibly get to, please be prepared. I wouldn’t suggest flying into San Juan and traveling here to stay. Aguadilla airport would be a much better option. The resort is super kid friendly since they don’t really have adult activities. Only 2 restaurants on property and after a certain time, make sure you have snacks in your room. Which by the way doesn’t have microwaves. Personally it is not at the top of my list to suggest, Copamarina can use several ideas to boost the boring atmosphere at their property. Not to mention the hike to get there. AND if you’re afraid of Bees stay away! They are EVERYWHERE! It was the most annoying feeling. We couldn’t even put our drink down.

The staff were very amicable and available. We had a small issue with the clealiness of our bathroom and the immediate response and follow-up was phenomenal; staff and housekeeping manager! Our only concern was the with the outdoor restaurant. Both nights took over 1hour for the food to be served and the wrong item came out but no attempt to comp the meal or correct it. But it seemed perhaps they were understaffed. With that being said the food was great and the servers did their best.I would recommend this beautiful resort and go back!

Nice private resort. The rooms are run down and so is the resort overall. Service is great! Our room however was filthy when we checked in. The floor was so dirty there was ground in dirt in every crevice. We had to request to have it mopped. We also found. a balled up receipt on the floor indicating the at the room wasn’t swept well.

Beautiful location, kind attentive staff, and so many activities to do! We enjoyed it a ton! We were only there 2 nights. We want to come back and stay for a week!

Easy access from San Juan, the grounds where beautiful manicured. Rooms were spacious but in need of an update, bathroom was nicely up dated but the shower mixer never got the temperature right. Food was OK, staff was super friendly but understaffed, therefore the wait time for drinks and food was not acceptable.

Amazing place to relax and unwind. Rooms are clean and comfy. The weather was perfect with sunny, windy days at 75-85°F and starry nights at 70°F. Both Restaurants have great service, very tasty food and drinks. Lillian took great care of us on our 5 course dinner at Alexandra’s. Our massages on the floating gazebo were out of this world. Very friendly and attentive staff. Lizbeth and Sonia went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait to go back.

I came before with my parents, and they had just set up the fine dining restaurant. The experience was less than good however we recently went back and I must say it is a one-of-a-kind hotel the location is incredible the facilities are so well manicured they have a full-time landscaping staff. It’s proximity to the beach is perfect 👌

If you are looking for a lovely, relaxing trip, this is the place. The Copamarina is a lovely resort that sprawls out so you never feel as though you are on top of the other guests. You can have all the peace and quiet you need to rest and recharge your batteries. I traveled with my two kids and could sit in a lounge chair while they ran from pool to beach to play structure with no worries. There are no city noises to distract you, just the calm sounds of nature. Just lovely. You can take a kayak to Gilligans island to explore the fish and birds.One note if you are travelling with kids. Make a stop at a supermarket in Guanica before you arrive at the resort. The resort is down a very winding road that sits between the mountain and the cliff down to the sea. I found it pretty scary to drive and once at the resort wasnt very keen to leave often. There are just two restaurants at the resort, and they are terrific, but you will spend a lot of $ on food your kids may not eat very well. There is a little convenience store as well, but it mostly sells snacks, pop, ice cream. A few essentials like fruit, milk, juice to keep in your mini fridge will be very helpful to bring with you.

Its a nice place but when we arrived the main pool was closed and basically found this out after check in. This was my second time coming here in the last six months. I went to the front desk to show my displeasure and they said they would get back with me. Which they did not. I asked why I wasnt told before, or even during check in. Its obvious they knew this and had my email. The staff was friendly besides this but I will probably stay somewhere else in the future. Restaurant is overpriced for the quality especially the breakfast!! Go to trasiego seafood restaurant in town much better food. I hope your customer service improves in the future cause many guests I spoke with felt the same way that brought kids to enjoy the pools. Why would you make this decision in peak season at capacity and peak rates for customers?

We arrived to Copa Marina Hotel with high expectations and were blown away by the excellent service and amenities.The resort is beautiful and very clean. The service is excellent from beginning to end.Mr. Luis and Nelson at The Palmas restaurant during breakfast really goes above and beyond over the meeting of service. They were very enthusiastic.I look forward to another vacation in Copa Marina just to be able to keep enjoying the special atmosphere.The hotel offers magnificent service, food and beverages for a really good price.Appreciate all the attentions

We booked the Romance Package to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. The hotel room and grounds are well kept and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful but I would suggest to anyone thinking about booking the Romance Package to save your money and just book the type of room you desire. The Romance Package comes with a bottle of champagne which you can just order for yourself at the restaurant or the bar. The other amenities which include evening turn down service, two small packages of chocolates with marshmallows, 15 minute massages and late check (“IF” Available) are really not worth the extra expense of the Romance Package.Another note. I would suggest not reserving the Dinner with the Chef at Restaurante Alexandria. We booked our Special Dinner with the Chef at the Restaurante Alexandria a few weeks in advance to celebrate our Anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel, we walked over to the restaurant hostess to reconfirm our dinner for later that evening. The hostess could not find our reservation. After checking with the manger with whom I had made the reservation, the hostess told us all not to worry and to show up at the appointed time. When we arrived at the Restaurant, we were taken to a small unremarkable room surrounded by a couple walls of wine. It was obviously the wine cellar. The waitress then informed us that our “special menu” was not available and then she offered the restaurants’ current menu. We selected a 4 course option with lobster from the restaurants set menu. Our first course was soup which was served lukewarm, the second course was a sparse silver dollar sized dollop of mixed of greens with a very thin slice of avocado and half of a Cornish game hen egg. That was it. Finally, we were served our entrée which appeared to be half of a very small lobster (or large shrimp) tail. One half of the tail for me and the other half for my husband. This entrée also included “one” – yes one asparagus stem and another silver dollar sized dollop of some type of veggie. Our meal concluded with dessert which was the best part of the whole meal but definitely not worth the price of the dinner. We never saw the chef. He never came out to greet us or speak with us. I would suggest taking your meals at the onsite open Palmas Restaurant which had good reasonably priced food and not wasting your money at Restaurante Alexandria.To conclude the hotel is well kept, staff very friendly. We were unable to enjoy any of the ocean activities or tours due to weather but we did enjoy the pools and bike rentals.

The Copa Marina is a beautiful and wonderful place to stay. The staff is the friendliest and service oriented I have found in the island of Puerto Rico. Everything from the reception desk to the thoughtful evening bonfires on the beach was exceptional. Morning breakfast on the restaurant patio was satisfying and pleasurable with the attentive service of Luis “tortilla”. My traveling companions and I left vey pleased with all the staff and the hotel. We highly recommend it.

I LOVED this resort!!! I cant wait to go back.The resort is on the Southside of the island in Guanica, PR. Its a 2 hour drive from San Juan but you literally get to see the majority of the island by traveling which brought us a whole new experience ut itself.We were able to experience Carguas, Ponce, Fajardo, San Juan, and Guanica (and some other cities I cant remember the names).Now back to the resort.....I experienced THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER had at a resort. First, we had an issue with our air conditioner not being cold enough. Before I could hang up the phone, there was a knock at the door and it was the maintenance guy. He checked it and said he would be back. Literally 5 minutes later he was back with a new air conditioner and had it installed within 15 minutes!!! Someone please tell me where have you been and the service was that good!The food at the resort was excellent and our stay was so peaceful.The customer care and service the displayed was the best Ive ever experienced in Puerto Rico.If you need peace and tranquility stay here!!!

It was my second time here. My stay was from July 30 2021 to August 2, 2021. The first room they gave me was a two queen bed bedroom, due to availability. It was not what I was expecting for the quality of the hotel. The room had fungi in the bathroom roof. The second room they gave me after my first night was very good and as expected. The service at Restaurant Las Palmas for Dinner was really bad, i bought an appetizer and it came out almost with the main plate. I waited for about 20 minutes for someone to bring silverware and of course food was already cold. Overall the place is amazing, but my experience was not as expected as compared to my previous stay there.

I purchased a package through AA. Arrived at the resort to find out I owed 159 per room in taxes. Rooms are dated. Beach is non existent. You have to walk to a public beach. Balcony was old and needed improvement. Beds are super old.

Our stay was wonderful, relaxing and fun. The landscaping is beautiful, the pools are really well kept all areas clean. Enough chairs around the pools and on the beach. The restaurants great and the service outstanding. All employees very respectful and kind with service with a smile . The fine dining over the top. The Sun Sets to remember we much love. Words can’t express how amazing and dear to our hearts Copamarina is. From the hotel staff, to the restaurant staff, bartenders, the delicious food to the spacious and beautiful rooms. This place is 10/10! My husband and I were married here last year before the pandemic and returned for our anniversary. Walking up to check in I didn’t even have to give my name. The front desk knew who I was and was eager to greet us. They set up our room beautifully to welcome us back. Luis from the restaurant hosted us a private dinner to celebrate and everyone else was exceptional as well. We felt so comfortable there it was like home away from home. I was a little nervous traveling during the pandemic not knowing how different it’d be but everyone respected the rules and guidelines for Covid. It didn’t put any barriers in our trip. We just left and stay can’t wait to come back! Thank you everyone at Copamarina for welcoming us with open arms!

Prior to our visit, very hard to get a hold of someone to confirm our stay -- not acceptable for a resort like this. Only one phone number to call, menu driven system sent you to a mailbox that wasnt setup... no matter what option you press on the menu... HOWEVER, once we arrived, the staff and the resort experience was EXCELLENT!

The resort was really nice, it was a fun beach and lots of amenities and the restaurants on site have exceptional food. The road getting there was a little bit of an adventure with it being one lane and having two way traffic, and riddled with pot holes. The shower also could give Katy Perry a run for her money with hot and cold every 10 seconds, at first we thought it was just because the water heater was empty, but over the course of 3 days every 10 seconds we went from lava to glacier temperature water. The room was nice and big and we really enjoyed our stay minus those little quirks.

Please do your self a favor don’t stay at copa marina. The food was awful. We wanted 45 minutes to get our meal. When you order the food is not what’s described in the menu. Overpriced. The hotel is clean. For a 25 minute massage my mom and I payed $170.00 will not do it again. Will not come back.

We chose to return to Copamarina for our anniversary vacation. We had a great time. Excellent service. We highly recommend Copamarina.

I was not able to stay, faced a check in issue and no concierge, manager or supervisor was able. The front desk personnel were left alone to try to solve the problem unsuccessful. LOST ALL MY MONEY for the reservation for me and my family and I WILL NEVER recommend a hospitality business where no one can help the clients

We loved our stay at Copamarina! Room was standard and clean. The grounds were well-maintained, clean, and so beautiful.

Beautiful resort. We were there as tropical storm Fred blew by but the staff made it a great experience.

Well to begin I was here 2.5 months ago. It was 3 of us . One of my friends ordered a ceasar salad. Well the cook and I stress the word cook because he is not a Chef. He just grabbed the lettuce chopped it in a row and didnt clean it at all. It was like a 7 year old just cut it like a cheese block in pieces and just placed on the plate. There was rotted lettuce in the middle, and just threw the dressing on it. Pure laziness. My food was not bad and the third one was OK. Now the waitress was excellent and very understanding of the situation. As a chef my self I spoke to the supervisor on duty. A very nice young guy. He also apologized and understood our frustration. So we decided to go back today . Well again a different waitress today she was nice but clueless as of what a Mofongo should have . We where celebrating my mothers birthday a person that has made Mofongo for decades and the young lady had the nerve to tell my mom that Mofongo doesnt have anything in it that is just smashed plantain. Well she needs to be educated in the difference between a Dominican Mangu and Mofongo. We got Dominican Mangu just mashed plantain totally plain. It was horrible. I thought that going this time and giving it a second chance it would Change . Well not at all. My breaded chicken was tasteless, and it was Calrose rice witch is not typical Puerto Rican rice. The chicken was hard and dry no flavor . Do not order the chicken empanada. Should be called chicharron de Pollo burned. And dont bother with the so called Mofongo because its not Mofongo at all . Is Mangu .

Enjoyed every minute of it. We have only two comments/suggestions: (1) the seaweed should be cleaned out of the beach. We had to walk to the public beach to swim. (2) Wine list needs to improve. We could give some advise. On the other hand, the food was delicious and its presentation was excellent. Congratulations to the chefs. The room was spacious, well appointed and the whole place was clean and beautiful. Very attentive staff.

This resort is all that it needs to be. Nestled on the southern side of Puerto Rico, the beach is serene and landscaped well. The beach isn’t the most beautiful you will find in Puerto Rico, but overall the property is excellent. I think every room is beach front. There is a great open air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean and you will see a beautiful sunset over the western hills and the sea. Everyone was very pleasant and they took great COVID precautions which made everyone feel safe.The landscaping is excellent, the view on the water is impeccable, the restaurants are very nice and clean, the rooms were spacious with great rooms, but the property isn’t exactly brand new. This is where I think people get hung up if they don’t love it, but overall it’s great. Highly recommend!

I did not give 5 stars because all along before arriving to the resort I asked for a coin laundry facility and not once did I received a notification that it was dismantled. I did not packed appropriately thinking I’ll have the convenience of doing my family laundry during my staying. Not cool.

Copamarina is absolutely beautiful and serene. There was barely anyone there and we really enjoyed staying on the resort grounds.Unfortunately the service was horrendous. They didn’t bring our bags to the room, we waited over 30 minutes (when we made a reservation at the restaurant)to get water and silverware, and overall just didn’t feel welcomed. They also cancelled their sunset tour we booked with them for my birthday the day before because “the captain happened to have the day off”Resort is beautiful but the service really hindered our trip.

This resort is super relaxing and beautiful, a small paradise on earth. Staff was very friendly on arrival, the resort is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious with a gorgeous view on palm trees and the ocean. Bar is also great with very tasty cocktails and food! I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in PR. Also, there was quite some rain on the island, but the south west corner of the island (where this resort is located), is almost always sunny and dry, even if it rains in other places!The only comment I really have is that we werent properly informed about two things: one of the two pools was closed for renovation, not an issue as the other pool and beach were available and capacity was low because of covid. Other thing is that a small area of the resort is for events and there was a high school graduation happening during our stay. This didnt bother us at all, they were very respectful and quiet most of the time. But the hotel had organized 2 events for them: one day there was a pool party + DJ, and a graduation/prom night with band + DJ. We werent aware of these events, and it did cause some nuisance. It would have been nice if we were informed about these events before hand so we could have planned a day trip somewhere during these events, and relaxing at the pool/beach on other days. Right now we did it the other way around, which was a little unfortunate...but only a minor issue during an otherwise great and very relaxing stay!

I booked directly with the hotel. The customer service is A+. I went there to hit the reset button and I am soooo glad I did. I have never felt more relaxed. The place is amazing and the property beautiful. You wont be disappointed. I will be going back.

Safe place, pleasant environment, excellent service and attention. The perfect place to do social distancing. Not forgetting the tasty food and excellent service in the restaurants and pool bars. It has enough pools for the capacity of the hotel. A family atmosphere of 5 stars or to spend the honeymoon, in short, for the vacations that you want the place is perfect.

Service during breakfast needs some improvement waiters seemed overwhelmed. And the quality of breakfast for $20.00 did not meet my expectations.Also calling to the front desk the first night nobody answered to request some extra pillows. However I could understand that the hotel is understaffed due to the COVID situation and people taking advantage of economic support. But in general I did enjoyed my stay the atmosphere and sorroundings are breathless and very relaxing.

Place is very beautiful. Personnel was very friendly. Our room was across the second pool which was not working and was under construction. Noise was pretty bad early in the morning. Bar and rest service was very slow except for Samuel and Luis. No service at pool or beach. The only pool was full of people. It was not a bad experience but definetly not worth the amount we paid.

Beautiful resort, great people. Wonderful service. Complimentary drink! Rooms are nice bathrooms are recent. Gorgeous view! kayaks are delightful! I cant say enough!! may even use as my wedding venue!

I have been visiting this resort for more than 20 years and the service and attention continue to be excellent. Some bedroom features have changed not necessarily for the better. Pools, gardens, and facilities continue to be beautiful. Las Palmas Cafe menu is good, but could be a but more criollo.

Copamarina is a gem of a boutique resort. Nested in between a hillside and bay facing the Caribbean, the resort is picturesque. The landscaping is well designed and thoughtful.The size of the resort is perfect for a 3 day intimate getaway. It allows you to disconnect and relax without the trappings of sprawling corporate resorts eager to up sell you. I had a chance to enjoy the on site spa which felt like we had it all to ourselves.The beach while not as inviting as other resorts provides an opportunity to play in the sand and enjoy the bayside water. You have to go out to the swimming platform for a dip. There are two pools, kiddie pools and jacuzzies centrally located.Im not sure if covid protocols restricted capacity but it felt like the perfect number of guests. This may not be a destination resort for mainland tourists but its well worth a stay if youre on the island.I just cant say enough good things about Copamarina. Youll enjoy your stay!

This place is simply beautiful and peaceful. The views from every area are amazing. Every person working here are so nice and polite.The food was also delicious. I love that you have so many options for fun a activities right there, ie kayak, boat trips, etc.The rooms were big and clean and again... the views!!!

Copamarina is a true one of a kind stay. It has an absolutely beautiful property with wonderful amenities and delicious restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and proffesional. You have the opportunity to sit back and relax as you enjoy the warm weather. I highly recommend coming and truly enjoying yourself.

It is beautiful if youre there to sightsee however, the pool was cloudy for the most part and Service was very slow. Also, Please Please make sure to book accordingly as the hotel will Not accommodate any last minute emergencies. I booked this reservation through Booking.com who was willing to make changes from 4 nights to 3 with 72hrs in advance but it was the hotel who refused and will charge any last minute adjustments even if it is within 3days of anticipation. Personally, it is not worth it and youll be bored after day 2. I went above and beyond trying to resolve but they are just after the double booking. The hotel does Not have the laundry room anymore, 1 of the pools is currently under construction and youll have to walk over to the beach next to it if you wanted to do the Jetski

This place was actually as beautiful as the pictures show. The room, beach, pools and restaurant were all perfect. Try not to drive there from the airport after dark because the freeway has no lights, no lights on the exit signs, and is terrifying due to all the curves and mountains in the pitch black.
