It was a wholesome experience. One of the ladies there I met had all the knowledge and patience of a real teacher. The fact that she taught for years shows through her wonderful personality. The fact she will be closing soon kind is kind of saddening. If you have the time make sure to stop out there.

Stumbled upon this quaint shop while visiting Connecticut from Virginia. Greeted like I was a neighbor and friend. Beads, beads and more beads. Choices are endless and accessories like you cant imagine. We together customized a bracelet that matched my taste perfectly. No problem too small for these fine ladies. I collect beaded bracelets and am proud to add one of theirs to my collection and not be overpriced.

Would be nice if they would post that they have permanently closed so people don’t make an unnecessary trip there!

Beautiful shop. An amazing selection, from seed beads to lamp work to crystal. They also give classes. So glad we stopped in.

Love this place! If you want to learn to make jewelry this is the place! They offer group lessons that are affordable.If you need a repair all the ladies are able.Especially Keelin who designs jewelry. I have brought many strands of new pearls to her to string. Her finish on a necklace is so nice.They also have trunk shows with local creative people who had blow beads and do sterling silver findings.Stop in & bring that necklace or those earrings that needs some TLC or fixing in your jewelry box that you miss wearing.

The Bead Hive is like an old fashioned hardware store where you can go in and find just about anything you need. Always the highest quality products Every member of the staff is well experienced and courteous and generously offers all types of help. The class schedule offers the latest trends in beading as well as classes for those new to beading. Its a comfortable place. Regardless of skill level anyone can find a rewarding and satisfying experience.

So many little treasures! Not good if you have poor impulse control -- the basket fills up fast! Totally worth a visit if youre a beader or know someone who is.
