This dress shop is as if from a fairy tale! The store is beautiful & the owners were very wonderful & sweet! They were so helpful with everything & definitely have the biggest selection of accessories in the area (especially veils, bridal sashes & jewelry!) I went to a lot of different bridal stores & this was by far, THE BEST! I would 100% recommend this store to any bride to be! My mother also got her dress for my wedding at this store.

Everyone at April Rose makes you feel like youre family and the most important client theyve ever worked with. Not only did I get my dress here, but my maids of honor, and my stunning head piece as well. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. I have already started recommending April Rose to anyone I know!

My youngest daughter (maid of honor) and I had a wonderful shopping experience at April Rose. My oldest daughter, the bride to be, purchased her wedding dress from a different establishment, yet we were not able to find the right dresses in that store.So off to April Rose we go - not only did I find the dress I was hoping for, but my younger daughter also found the perfect dress! The staff are terrific - I am so grateful to Diane and Camille for their suggestions and recommendations. They understand body styles, color and design - often the dress decision can be very difficult and overwhelming; April Rose made the experience an enjoyable one.We purchased so many items for all three of us from the shop - including the veil and stunning jewelry.I did read the negative review and having purchased many dresses over the years, I will tell you that most custom ordered dresses are not perfect in fit. The measurements are a guideline for how the dress should be constructed. Our dresses required alterations, which we expected. Unless you’re buying off the rack or from a big box store, be prepared. This isnt a bad thing - the dress will be tailored to your body type, not a standard size - were not cookie cut-outs.Another recommendation - if you can, start dress shopping at least six months to a year prior to the wedding. And, for the best service, schedule an appointment! The smaller shops work best with scheduled appointments, although we were a walk-in, they did a fantastic job working us in with other customers.Would I shop here again? ABSOLUTELY!! One daughter down, one to go…

My wife was turning 50 and shes always wanted a tiara. I thought it would be fun to surprise her with one. Not knowing much about tiaras, Diane, the owner, helped me look at all the different types she had available and asked me questions about my wifes style. From watching movies together, I knew princess is what my wife had in mind when it came to a tiara. When I mentioned this to Diane, she knew exactly which one I should get. She was right! My wife was so surprised and thrilled with it--it is the perfect tiara for her. As a lesbian, it is not always easy or comfortable to shop for jewelry and other gifts for ones partner, but Im happy to say Diane didnt miss a beat when I said I was looking for a tiara for my wife. If youre looking for an LGBT welcoming place to shop for your wedding dress or accessories, this is the place!

April Rose is top notch!! They are very accommodating. I am not a small girl by any means, when I arrived at April rose they had me try on a dress for sizing purposes. I decided I would lose some weight and get the size that just about fit me. Well when the dress cam in it did not fit due to my own stubbornness! It was not the fault of April Rose. I was able to call them up and get a new dressed ordered! There is no return policy so they were willing to keep my current dress as a sample and order me a new one for the shipping fee. All the ladies were fantastic and very kind. I couldnt ask for a better experience!

If I could give April rose negative stars I would. I choose to use April Rose to find My five bridesmaids dresses. Big Mistake. I stopped into the shop several times to make sure that they had dresses to accommodate my larger sister who is very sensitive about her weight. I was assured that there would be dresses for her to try on. When all of the girls arrived they were piled in to one common dressing room that had no AC. All the girls were expected to strip down to there underwear with different sales people coming in and out of the room to fumble over the air conditioning unit. As if this wasnt bad enough there were no dresses larger than a size 14 to fit my sister. She stood there mortified in her underwear as the sales people buzzed around. After 30 minutes of absolute humiliation it dawned on the sales woman that my sister was less than thrilled with the situation. She offered to climb up in the attic and bring down some discontinued dresses for her to try on. Im not exactly sure what the point of this was since all two of the dresses that she brought in were discontinued.Our experience gets even better, not all the girls were prepared to pay for there dresses in full, but they were more than willing to leave a deposit on the dresses. They did not want to measure the girls for the appropriate dress size until they could pay in full. Eventually they made an acceptation since two of the girls were paying in full, but we were made to feel like degenerates because we asked to only leave deposits.The dresses came in today and my MOH is swimming in hers. She tried a 10 on in the shop that fit her very well but was convinced by the sales woman that a 12 would fit her better. honestly we could probably make the flower girls dress out of the material that is going to have to be taken off of this dress. We listened to the sales women because she was the expert, unfortunately this will cost a pretty penny to alter.Out of all the wedding planning in the last year this has been the most disastrous. I wish that there was more time but we are now only 30 out from the wedding. Good Luck with your wedding planning ladies and consider yourself forewarned.
