I would give Guilford White House Florist 6 or more stars if I could. Very easy transaction over the phone. Excellent communication and follow though. Our helper was caring, plus generous with their time, which went above and beyond for a same-day delivery. Their gorgeous arrangement was a bright spot for our recipient. This florist provides a very important community service and does it well.

My children sent me flowers on my birthday from White House Florist in January. I was sincerely amazed- the various types of flowers, the colors and design- it was beautiful. Truly better than any other florist business that I have received flowers from.

Paula and the entire staff of Guilford White House are phenomenal. I had been using their services for years ...flowers for Moms birthday, parents anniversary, etc. Sadly, also used them for Moms funeral services. Paula patiently worked with me and listened carefully resulting in her creation of several stunning arrangements that Mom would have absolutely loved. Over the years she created many wonderful unique arrangements that Mom was able to enjoy. Trust me, I couldnt be any more particular or picky about flowers and they never failed to impress.

When ordering a plant arrangement for the funeral of a relative in Massachusetts, I was treated with impatience and indifference. Although there were no other customers in the shop at the time, suggestions and descriptions were not offered, nor were questions regarding size or quantity answered with accuracy. The result was a pathetic tiny dish garden which was a disappointment at best, and, at worst, an embarrassment. My experience with White House was thoroughly unsatisfactory. Attitude of personnel and quality of product need improvement.

Excellent florist. I ordered flowers on Monday afternoon and they were delivered to my girlfriends office the next afternoon. Excellent prices and even better quality flowers. Will buy from them again.

I cannot say enough good things about White House Florist. I bought some flowers earlier this season from there for the window boxes on my commercial building. We have been watering them regularly and they are doing OK, but not growing as quickly as I thought they would. The owner of White House Florist, Paula Antone, drives by my shop on the post road regularly and noticed that they were a little stunted. When I got back to my shop last night I noticed that the window boxes were overflowing with beautiful new flowers in addition to the ones we bought earlier in the season. Someone (a flower fairy?) had stopped by without my knowing it and added new flowers, soil, and the proper soil nutrients. It looks beautiful! Thank you Paula, you are the best! Where else are you going to get this kind of service? Wal Mart? Stop & Shop? I think not. This is why it pays to shop local.Chris Weiler

After making all the arrangements with Paula for my Mother-in-laws viewing for Wednesday/Thursday, it was changed to Monday/Tuesday, labor day. They were closed on Labor Day. Paula went above and beyond to create a casket spray worthy of my Mother-in-laws elegance and two family baskets that were breath taking. Because of the holiday her inventory was not what it usually is, she proved herself to be a true artist. The shop closes at 3:00pm on Saturdays, I called with a super last minute request for a corsage at 2:35! They didn’t have to help me since they were closing but they went out of their way to put a beautiful corsage together in time for pickup before they closed! I’m beyond grateful and very impressed with their willingness to help, excellent customer service!! If I could give more stars I would!
