Dr Swenby is the best very thorough. Michael is awesome! Been going here for years he knows my whole family. Gives very helpful advice when picking frames. Everyone is super nice here.

It had been over 3 years since I went to the eye doctor and a co-worker recommended Visual Eyes. I am so happy I went to them. The doctor was patient, honest, informative and personable. The rest of the staff both Jamie and Michael were so kind and helpful with all my needs I really can’t thank them enough. Great people and great service! Night and day from my previous doctor.

The best eye care and personal care I have received since I started wearing glasses 43 years ago. After years of sensitivity to contacts and undiagnosed astigmatism I not only have the perfect comfort contacts with ideal distance and reading vision, but they continue to closely monitor what they discovered may be emerging glaucoma before serious damage is done. I travel from northern Connecticut to Guilford because I appreciate a great thing when I have it.

I’ve been coming here for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else! By far the best eye doctor, staff, and over all general office! Between needing scheduling and emergency appointments they are always quick and prompt to respond. When it came to picking out one of my multiple frames, Michael was so well informed and helped me every single time to pick out each pair to my liking!!!! 11/10x highly recommend and love this practice!!!!!!

Im so glad I found this practice. I need prisms and progressive lenses in my glasses, but in the past, I never was able to see quite right when I worked at my computer or read a book and was forced to get a second pair just for computer work, and had to take my glasses off when I read. I dont have to do this anymore with my new glasses. Betsy got me the right prescription and Michael helped me pick the perfect pair of glasses. And I wasnt forced to wait an hour in their waiting room, as often would happen at my previous eye doctors office.

Dr. Swenby is very thorough with the eye exam. She takes the time to test and study your eyes, while keeping you updated every step of the way. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Betsy is absolutely amazing. I went to her last year when I was trying to find an eye doctor. She was so great about making sure that my glasses were comfortable, seeing as I hadnt worn glasses in years, and they may be uncomfortable. She was so attentive and accommodating. When my daughter broke her eye glasses, I called and she took her and fit her in right that day to make sure she had glasses as soon as possible. Now my whole family goes to Visual Eyes. We love them!
