Just ran n in ran out! Love this Jewel. There is hardly ever any lines n I can always find food certain brands of food I cant find any where but whole foods! They have the best deals.

This store is horrible at getting delivery orders out the door. No notice, no communication, no food. So disappointed on my last three deliveries.

Went by to use atm. Workers and customers looked me down, like I was in the wrong place, Im hispanic... Not comfortable

Its quick and close to home. Just be careful what you buy and check expiration dates, most likely why its on sale and not sold out like other advertised items, which are usually gone the 1st dayUpdate- 6/4/1, shopped here today. I am pleased to say that the store manager must have listened. The produce department was well stocked with very fresh produce. Everything i went for was in stock and expiration dates were nice. I understand selling to last day but I had inedible food that I had to toss when opened to use the same day I bought it. Not just once but quite a few times.Thanks for listening and the store looked great! Ill be a returning customer again, no more trips to Jewel in Gurnee!

Very hungry wanted to buy some fried chicken, didnt work out. Instead, got old and dry pieces carefully chosen from probably equity emploee. He flipped at least 10 pieces until finally found the smallest and oldest from 10:30am. No doubt. To much for freshest food.

Good strore helpful employees and the Starbucks is also nice.if you have a lot of groceries they even ask if you need help with taking them to your car

Nice clean store, helpful people the store seemed a little hard to maneuver as far as where things were located but they did have a lot of signs. I just didnt feel like things were where they should be but thats me.

I called and wanted to speak to someone in the Deli Rachel transferred me to the store manager (Christian). I think that’s what his name was. I get the chicken meal from this Jewel all the time for my break. I usually get the $3.99 meal that includes a breast,wing,leg and a thigh. The manager clarified I was right. I told him I received fries (which I don’t eat) and what was suppose to be a Breast and leg. Instead I received fries, a thigh and a leg. But in the box it said 4pc meal. Hmmm so I had a issue my friend dropped it off and he said I needed a receipt. I said I didn’t have a one. He then proceeded to say that he couldn’t help me because I didn’t have a receipt. And if I can’t bring the food back he can’t help me as well. I asked for corporate’s number he wouldn’t give it to me and then told me after I complained and said I was gonna call corporate that I can come in and we can see what we can do about it. I said we are talking on the phone right now let’s get my mail later since I’m currently at work. He was very rude he said stop by later and we’ll talk about it. Bruh I just want my chicken that’s all I want there’s nothing to talk about and that’s the store manager. Come on bro over $3.99 🤦‍♂️

No one understands me when I ask for Jewel bags down south. Then again, most of the people down south enjoy not wearing masks and yelling at anyone who does.I miss intelligent people.

No matter what do not do home delivery thru jewel in Gurnee. order at 5pm waited up until midnight because there website said they are a little behind. they show up at 10am next day no notice and half my order was missing

Prices seem more reasonable than in the past. Cant beat the buy one, get one free meat & fish. Jewels beef stew is probably the absolute best Ive ever had & have even looked online for the recipe! Would love to see kumquats available again!

Drive up and go employees were very unprofessional. I was picking up two large orders and asked I could take one of their carts outside. They said only the employees could take them outside so I asked if someone could help me. They looked at me like I was from another planet. Very poor customer service. As someone who has been a shopper at a different grocery store, behavior like this would be unacceptable.

6am open is the best time to go during covid-19. Cleaner than the jewel by us

Some of the prices were out of line. $6 for lactase free milk! Meijer offers it for under $5. When Jewel offers items on sale, the prices are great... The store is clean, bright with nice employees.

This is a below-average *parking lot*, for shopping carts! I am not surprised, that there are accidents here, - because the ground is weird and tilted, and the angles for the carts are all wrong! just a warning!

In comparison to other Jewel-Oscos...the Gurnee facility seems larger but darker. Always friendly check-out staff...and items in stock.

The food is always fresh and the staff more than friendly. Those sub sandwiches are in a class by themselves. 🥰

Everything was so clean in there and the fruit was super fresh. Wish they had more vegan friendly items though.

Items i tried to get were randomly placed. I was looking for Coke products in soda isles but no such luck, then found it on an endcap several isles away and couldnt get 24pks, only 12pks plus only had regular and diet. No other flavors like Sprite, Mello Yellow etc... Then I looked for a specific brand/flavor of Kcup coffee and was out of my flavor so I grabbed my 2nd choice only to find a ton of what I wanted by self checkout.

I like this Jewel-Osco as well as I like Marianos and in fact in some ways its better. The sushi at this Jewel-Osco is top notch.

First time user of the online order and pick up service. There are pros and cons to this amenity. Ordering online super easy and understandable, Picking up the order, also easy. The staff I encountered were amazingly nice and helpful. Upon getting home and checking my order, found 11 items missing. Also found several things that were substituted. Ok, here is where I lose my patience.... I am a busy single mom of 5 kids, and having the luxury of ordering online is awesome. When I get home excited to put my groceries away and start dinner at a reasonable hour after working a long day to find that half my order is either missing due to out of stock or substituted makes me a bit of a Karen ....I called the store to inquire why my order was so botched up. The young man named Alex was more than helpful and replaced most the items not given in the original online order I placed, and not only did he replace it, he said he would personally shop the missing items himself. For the inconvenience he gave me in store credit for future purchases. So, yes I took another trip to retrieve the missing produce, dry goods, and meat. I was not pleased with the bonus trip, and was not pleased with some of the substitutes, but the fact that the staff was so helpful and apologetic, I will give it an ok review. Maybe my order was too big, maybe I caught them on a bad day. Mondays tend to be rough for a lot of people. I think in the future, if I decide to use this convenience again, it will be a short order with no produce. Having someone choose your produce, they might not look for bruised or molding etc... so its in my best interest to shop those items myself. Im cool with that.P.S. the teenager that delivered the groceries to my soccer van was pretty cool and funny as well. Good people skills, which is hard to find in our younglings these days. :-)

How do you only have ONE cashier on duty? Friday night and long lines. Come on you can do better

Because the Produce sales floor is outstandly beautiful. You can walk through those main entrance doors anytime of the working day hours and be blown away by how immaculate the manager of the department keeps his floor looking. You can tell everyone working in that produce department loves being a part of that team and respects their manager.

Their products are top notch & the sales are always great.

Jewel is always a good place for me to go do my shopping they always have nice sales, and their meat is always fresh as well as their fruits.

I went on 3-3-2021 there was a Spanish lady making drinks. A. Wrong size B. My drink wasnt very good. C.Then she glares at you because she was wrong.D. Very dry introverted personally. But instead of go on about how unhappy I was i just wont go back ever!

Nice and clean grocery store. I love going to the dessert section. They have a variety of baked goods. I recommend the 2 bite brownies. A plus, they give kiddies a free banana.

The staff does a great job of cleaning the carts, but many customers dont know how to distance, and some dont know how to wear a mask, some staff too

Love the My Mixx program. I get some really good deals sometimes!Most of the associates are friendly. I have a few regulars I go to when checking out.Store is clean and organized. I can get in and out really quick.Make sure you watch clearance items or some sale items. They dont ring up correctly. Its fustrating. Ive had a customer service person try to deny my money back once because I didnt notice the overcharged items until a few days later.I usually go here about 5 days a week out of convince.Not a fan of the meat. Produce is good and when it is on sale, its a good price. My favorite is the clearance carts! You can get some really good deals! Again just check your receipt before you leave!

Absolutely horrible customer service at this location. The lady running self checkout was very rude and dismissive. I asked her why i was paying more for a transaction when i had just paid a different amount with the same items, she looked at the screen said “mhm” rolled her eyes and walked away without giving me any sort of explanation and not only that she then proceeded to get a higher up to “help me” after being assisted they both walked back into the corner of the starbucks looked directly at me and started talking about me and then they both looked at me again and said something else and walked away. To make it worse there was an older gentleman next to the register beside me, he was asking her a question and she walked away from him and said go to the customer service desk. He was clearly not done with his question and followed her to tell her the coupon did not apply and she kept walking away from him, & didnt answer his questions. Beyond disbelief, rude, and unprofessional never stepping foot in this location again.

First she looked at me like I was crazy (which I totally understand). She had it done in less than 24 hours and the five lanterns looks amazing, they were for my daughters baptism and I got so many compliments.Thank You so much Laura, I attached a picture of the beautiful arrangements you create it. Explain this to me SALE OF WATER BUY 1 CASE @ $5.49 GET ONE FREE PRICE.SOME SALE. I really hate the sales that require you to buy 5 of something. Do u think about the people that take a BUS TO SHOP ! Im done using Jewel ..

My childhood store love this place

Bought these 45 minutes ago. On sale of course. Started to open them up and noticed the tape. Someone ate all the green ones and taped the box. Quality control isnt what it used to be. Gross! Makes me wonder about other products at this location.
