Odometer Fraud and Tampering!Be aware of this company and owner Dan Trotter!Heavy Equipment Haulers of Oklahoma / HEHOO & owner Dan Trotter sold me on May 12th 2015, a 2006 Caterpillar D5G XL Dozer. Dan Trotter advertised the machine as having 5,000 hours and a new motor.When I asked if the dozer had any previous damage, Trotter told me: Absolutely not! We wouldnt offer anything like that here. Weve been doing this for many years and would never be able to do this by selling junk!.It turned out they were. I was in for a ride...The machine I actually received was a 2003 piece of equipment with 9,095 hours on it (and not 2006 model with 5,000 hours as Trotter claimed). The dozer broke within 5 minutes of turning on the engine. An inspection showed previous damage hastily repaired.Moreover, the hour meter was replaced for one with less hours.I reached out to Trotter and asked for explanation and my money back. I got silence.Odometer tampering is a federal felony so I had to hire an attorney and file charges for breach of contract and fraud.Im also reporting the case to various federal agencies.Stay away from him and his company.
