The owners are really nice and good people. The meats they serve there are delicious. Along with their hot foods. My favorite things to get there are the sandwiches like a pastrami sandwich or the meatball sandwich. But all their food is delicious and its highly recommended

Staff look happy to work there and they wore gloves. Took care to make each sandwich and pack each order. Recently switched to paper containers for soup. Very busy during lunch hours. Tasty steaks and butcher took the time to explain and talk to customers. Im happy that they are still thriving. Lets support local small businesses!

Best subs in town. They keep it simple. Fresh sub rolls, generous portions of premium meats, and quality vegetables. They have a large and varied menu with everything from sandwiches to pasta. They also sell sandwich meats, salads, cheeses, meats, etc. Decent prices too.

This place is fantastic! They have so many good cuts at good prices. Also the staff is amazing and funny and willing to help with anything. It has become my families favorite place to get meat.

A very excellent deli, the food is fresh, the sandwiches fresh, the pastrami is the Best, Plenty of drinks and sides to choose from, The fresh deli excellent as well with great looking cuts of meat. A very nice dine in area with a tv to watch the game and have a drink as well... This is truly a one of a kind.

Although the food and the meats are spot on, the service has only gotten worse. Yes it’s hard to find people during Covid but when that happens you empower the people that are working. The guy behind the meat counter was inept, the two guys making sandwiches were insufficient. We stood in line for 10 minutes while no one acknowledged us or said we’ll be right with you or anything. The phone ran off the hook. I had to cancel my online order which was going to take an extra 15 min, sorry I had to cancel my order.Great food, poor service.

I live in Pico Rivera but would I ever in the area of the 60 Freeway and Hacienda Boulevard I need to stop off Hacienda Village you walk in and its a meat shop go cut the steaks any size you want they make your own meatloaf are you just got to take it home and cook it on the other side of the shop is he Italian Deli Fresh Pasta Daily a excellent sandwiches its a must-try if youre in the area

I’ve been going to this local deli and meat counter for years and it never disappoints. Along with some good meat options and sides they serve some freshly prepared Italian food and hot and cold sandwiches. The pastrami sandwich, meatball sandwiches are among my favorites. This time I ordered the shrimp linguini with a small antipasto salad. It didn’t disappoint. Sauce is tasty served with a generous amount of shrimp.

The employees were very nice and welcoming :) and they got our food out really quick they also gave us free samples of some of their cookies which were very good!!

Good selection of fresh meat along with a reasonably priced deli. I usually get the Guido torpedo. Its enough for 2 people or one hungry guy.

Waited nearly 20 minutes for my sandwich, I finally decided to go ask about my sandwich and the guy I paid for the sausage sandwich was confused and then realized he hadnt made it yet, then he made it quickly and wrapped it, but I told him I ordered paid for it with cheese and roasted. He complained that he didnt remember what I ordered so I showed him the receipt and got grumpy about remaking it, I told him not to remake it, jut add the roasted peppers. Thats when he grabbed with the tongs these soggy roasted peppers from the container and placed it in the sandwich which made it soggy. He couldve let the peppers drain a little. Rude attitude considering he made the mistake and forgot to make the sandwich, not coming here no more....you need retraining for customer service and attention to details.

From the very 1 time I visited meeting my husband for lunch years ago, The staff are very good and real we love the food of course takes me back to my youth.

Meat counter, grocery store and deli all in one place. Meats are beautiful. They offer marinated chicken, cordon bleu, veal, beef, sausage, prime rib. I purchased from the deli a delicious lasagna with a side of Italian sausage- yummy, yummy. Also picked up Cannoli which was soooo good and some cookies. Definitely will return.

This place is such a gem. Ive been coming here since 2008 and the Italian food is delicious and authentic. The owners are Italian and the original owner passed away but the son took it over. They serve very large portions and the prices are very fair.They also have full service mear counter with various types of meat and cuts. Everybody is super nice n friendly and i come here about once a week.They have cheap lunch specials Monday thru Friday

I am new to the Hacienda Heights area and am so happy to have found this place! We eat here at least once a week now. The staff here work so hard and are always very nice. They have a great selection of hot dishes, like lasagna, and delicious deli sandwiches stacked with meat. Everything is more than reasonably priced too. Ive literally never had a bad meal here. Do yourself a favor and go! It will be your new favorite place.

So much more than what the name leads you to believe. Sandwiches were fresh, full of meat or veggies and delicious. Going back for their Italian entrees. Lasagna, Italian sausages, chicken parmesan,etc. Their meat selection looks amazing and even have Chicken Cordon Bleu ready to cook. Cant say enough about this place. Im a customer for life.

They have sandwiches vet tasty. Subs,Italian food. They make all there ingredients on site. They sell all kinds of meat cut too order and prepared. Pricey but always have good deals. I visited about 2X in a month.

On Sunday we ordered our usual sandwiches... alas VERY DISAPPOINTED....ravioli was watered down and tasteless.... large sandwiches lacking in meat and fillings...pastrami looked and tasted weird...not only that price’s are higher. ..not worth what we received. It wasn’t like that when the grandfather and grandmother were working there ... I always enjoyed eating their food but I will not be eating there anymore after 20 years of patronage 🥺🥺 Sad

Its easy to ignore this place because it is tucked in the corner of a crowed and rather run down parking lot, but its such a local gem. Whether you need meat for a BBQ or a quick and satisfying meal Hacienda Village Meats is always a great option. Its not fancy, but it is quick, homemade, cheap and delicious.

I love this place. Every item on the menu is tasty, from the Guido Torpedo to the pasta dishes. Great selection of beverages as well, with a good selection of bottled beer. This is on my regular rotation of lunch spots.

Quick, pleasant service. Sandwich maker washed his hands each time he walked from the register to the sandwich prep table. Good and hot pork and meatball sandwiches. This place is a lifesaver when we need a quick dinner. Consistently good after too many years to count!

I grew up eating at this deli and would like to say that the quality is still amazing to this day. My go-to is a Pastrami sandwich here. The meats they sell on the other side are also high-quality.

My friend Rene kept bragging about this p lo ace. So we decided to try it. I was in the mood for italian sub. When were got there it was tursday and lone and behold they had their italian sub special. 8 bucks! Feeds upto 4 peeps. Depending how big your appetite is you can eat the entire 17 sub, or least thatvhow it lookesnto me. The sanswhich was delish. I will be back to tey theur othe menu items dor sure

Great sandwiches! :Their Pastrami and Roast beef sandwiches are the BEST I ever had. They give you a lot of Pastrami and it TASTES like pastrami. Try it. Youll like it!About a year ago I posted the above post, which was true at THAT time. But about a month ago (May 2020) I bought a large Hot Pastrami Sandwich believing that it would still have that great pastrami taste. But sadly something was different.The pastrami dripped a yellowy juice and tasted soapy. I was told they had a different distributor.Today in June 2020 I thought I would try it again.This time the pastrami didnt drip a yellowy juice or taste soapy. This time it had a hickory or hardwood taste to it. It barely tasted like the good pastrami from a year ago. It was very dissapointing today. I hope they get their old distributor back. As of now I cannot recommend their pastrami anymore. Sad days.

So disappointing.....we are vegetarian so I got pasta with marinara. The marinara was almost non existent & I was charged for spaghetti & meatballs $8+! The cucumber/tomato salad was overpowered by a tons of onions. Worse Italian food Ive ever had!

Great service, good prices and the best pastrami sandwich around! Ton of meat, mustard pickle. So packed with pastrami I could only eat 1/2 of it. I wrapped it up, put it in the fridge and finished it 2 days later after heating it up in the microwave. It was still delicious!

Some of the best sandwiches anywhere. The pastrami is huge, packed with meat, and the roll is perfect. Ive been living this place since I was a kid and it has retained the quality all these years.

I’d give 3.5 if I could. The meat here is fresh and often cheaper than a grocery store like Vons or Ralph’s. If that’s what you want, check this place out.Their “fresh” food is what bothers me. Most of it often looks unappealing, with just a few things we are willing to try. Usually not bad, but the sight of it is just off sometimes.

This is a neighborhood favorite! Theyve been doing it right for like 50 plus years!! Excellent cuts of meat for a great bbg or I can pick up a ready to cook meatloaf that the family devours! If you want something prepared the hot food is bomdiggity, try the spaghetti and meatballs Yum!!!

We been eating at Village Meats since we moved to Hacienda Hts in late 1979. Food is always fresh, service is excellent. Sandwiches are the best and meat balls are delicious. Pick up a pickle too.

Awesome and quite rare in these parts, Italian cuisine. We had the spaghetti and sausage, Manicotti, canoli at the end. It was great!
