Ive been to this location multiple times over the years and it still provides a good selection of Asian (mostly Chinese) focused products. The meats and produce selection is good and decently priced. Only half of the food stalls remain open (Fall 2021) - but the deli is a good value, as is the bakery with their daily 2-for-1 bun deals. Store is crowded on weekends and empty on weekdays so plan accordingly!

Good selection. Love the place. But one thing that annoys me, for that size of the store only one cashier is working. If I can give one star for the service. That would be it. If you decide to come here. Please give ample time to be online. Only once cashier is working out of 10

This was only our second trip there. All in all no real complaints of this 99 Ranch Market, with the exception of its location within the shopping center, for it is buried at the end of the center. Also, it took a hit from the Pandemic. Lots of small businesses within have closed as a result. One can still however get bubble tea and pretty good Chinese food there. Prices reflect its location and current market conditions. Place is still a good place to shop though. Its sanitary implementation policy is to be noted positively. ✅

I like this stores variety, and great supply of Asian products, as well as their poultry, meats, and seafood. They have liquor as well, I believe. Whenever I shop at this store, I seem to want to try new things I discover here that Ive never seen. Plenty of parking in the lot, and service has always been fairly fast and friendly.

A great collection of Asian and Korean grocery needs. It has fresh produce, meat, seafood (with live fish), kitchen and dim sum sections. The kitchen sells prepared food dishes as well as duck, soy chicken, tender beef, squid, pork and few others. There are aisles for Asian/Korean drinks (including jinroo, soju, sake), snack, candies, rice, and kitchen utensils. It also has couple of restaurants and a bubble tea store inside the market

Love the food court, especially the lunch box section. The employees who work there are so generous and kind! The food is always delicious as well. They are rather wasteful though, which you will notice if you go towards the end of the night as they are closing. And the clientele are frequently rude. The grocery store is nice as well. I’ve been to many 99 Ranch locations, and they are all similar. It’s nice to be able to get all my Asian grocery needs in one place.

Not as good as me too well but pretty good if you want to get any type of Asian foods lots of obscure fruits herbs vegetables things like that. A little more expensive than me till when it comes to things like tonkatsu sauce or ramen. Such as frozen dumplings of all varieties, manys types of dried fish and various dried shrimps, and many many tropical produces (large taro, small taro, purple yams, several types of mushrooms)There is a handful of food stations, like bakery, Asian food, bubble tea). There is always something new to discover at each visit.

Wow! Great Asian supermarket finally comes to Hackensack. This store has it all. Hot foods section with several vendors and a lot of variety plus an area to sit down and enjoy it. I had the pork noodle wonton soup and it was hot and flavorful. The fresh fish department is extensive. Meat also, plus produce, bakery, beer, wine and much, much more. Checkout went smoothly. Don’t oder from their BBQ department. They steal. I got a roasted duck and asked to have it chopped. When I got home, I found there were barely any meat left. The breast and legs went missing. Glad to see this supermarket finally open. There is a section for beauty items, produce, meats, seafood, frozen items, wines/liquors, household items, numerous eateries, a food court. One of my favorite Asian markets in NJ. Its a one stop shop for all your Asian grocery needs. Things that are mostly sold out everywhere or skyrocketing in prices online like tapioca pearls and all purpose flower can be found here. I come here about once a month to stock up. Their prices are not rock bottom but everything is affordable. The staff is really helpful and they have a parking lot, making it easy to load your groceries. Theirs also a food court, but most of the shops have been closed due to Covid. Their buffet, bbq meat station, and bakery is still open. Theres also a CoCo boba shop near the entrance that is still open too.

Edit: we visited 99 Ranch again on June 6 and it was very comforting to see that they now measure the temperature and compared to most other grocery stores, they are definitely on top my list in terms of how serious they take the whole Covid19 situation. Most stores started to not care about the social distancing and whether people wear masks within the store (after getting in the door), etc.Initial review: First of all, I love this store much more than the Jersey City store. Second, I love how people are much more careful in here regarding social distancing and how the staff is much more careful about disinfecting everything. Third, they have amazing food and other products and everything is in stock even during the pandemic (even masks)... Kudos 99 Ranch!

Better than most Asian mart, if not the best groceries shopping experience so far. There are many reasons to love this place, just to name a few, amazing amount of Asian merchandise, not crowded, reasonably priced. You will find popular Thai, Malaysian, Taiwanese, Chinese, Indonesian, Singaporean, Philippino, Vietnamese etc... snacks, food, seasonings. There are even some Spanish specialty can food in the Latin American aisles. This place is huge and clean for Asian mart standard, it is organize, well stock and friendly staff. Not to mention there is a good size food court and bakery in the same vicinity. Cant wait for the food court to open and pandemic is over, meanwhile just enjoy my fresh bake goods for now. It’s an huge Asian fusion market. You’ll see Thai, Viet, Filipino, Chinese, and Korean products. There’s a good selection of everything but if you’re looking for some obscure product, I would still try and go because there’s a good chance this place has it or some equivalent. They also fry fish for you for free if you buy fish there. I ordered 1 large whole tilapia once and it wasn’t more than $4.00 for the fish and frying service. I always pick extra crispy option, they fry it so well.If you’re looking for dessert I recommend buying their baked goods especially the egg custard pie.

This supermarket is the best market in Jersey for people from Taiwan. I can even find my favorite fruit ( Sugar Apple) here that are shipped from Taiwan. The supermarket is also offer home deliver now via their mobile app and they are currently offer $7.99 off orders of $35 or more.--------------------------------------------------------------------------Update 1/2/2021: The supermarket remains to be open and has taken precautions to make it Covid 19 safe. There are sanitizers as you enter, masks are required when in the store and cashier booths are covered. They stopped the offering coupons a while back and most of the food court section has been closed with the exception of the buffet which is no longer self service. The market continues to be one of my favorite in the area for Asian stables. They replenish their stock often and there are always new items to try--------------------------------------------------------------------------Finally a nice and large Chinese market in North Jersey! They previously opened a location in Jersey City and I was happy to see them open a location closer to me up north. This location has a food court towards the entrance with a decent amount of seats. If you purchase a certain amount of grocerys on any give day, they will provide you with coupons for use at their food court or bakery ($20 in groceries = $1 coupon, more than $60 on a weekday = double coupons). Their seafood market in the back offers a good variety but theyre very under staffed. Be sure to get a ticket if you want help in this area. They also provide free frying of any fishes and steaming of live lobsters and crabs purchased there, which is awesome. They staff is also very helpful when you are in need of help locating a product in this vast store. The market is park of strip mall that hap a number of eateries and Home Depot so traffic gets really bad on the weekends and it can be tough finding a close parking space at times.

Right now they are even giving coupons for our purchases where we can redeem at their bakery and hot deli. Had their satay, shrimp wonton noodle soup and chicken feet and was pretty impressed!! Best Asian market in the area, maybe in all of Bergen county! Very large supermarket. One caveat, it is more Chinese-centric, so if youre looking for more Korean or Japanese items, better luck with H-mart or Mitsua, though there are some options. Nevertheless, this is such a welcome addition to the area, and now I dont have to wait until I can get into NYC for my spicy chili peanuts, Chinese produce, or other great items. Also, there are a number of food court type places so you can eat a meal before or after your shopping! Finally opening at the end of June 2018, just in time to replace the KF grocery in River Edge that was closed by the Health Dept, the 99Ranch Market is at least as complete as the HMart that recently opened in Paramus. However, if you are looking for marinades meat the HMart is still your go-to destination. The staff here is very friendly, there is a great assortment of fresh produce, meats, poultry, seafood, frozen foods, Asian specialties, and basic groceries, along with a food court and small cosmetics section. The CoCo concession by the entrance has cool bubble tea that hits the spot on a hot summer day :)The store is very popular so the parking lot is very full most of the time. 99 Ranch is a great place with everything Asian you need, and a great food court, but the staff are just plain rude. Basically, I didnt get all my groceries, which I only realized when I was unpacking my groceries at home. My mother called the store, and they said they would check the security cameras and see what happened. When we went back to the store, they had found the exact bag of groceries that wasnt given to us (the same meat and vegetables with the exact same price as on the receipt and everything), and when we asked where they had found it, they just looked at each other and shrugged, saying they didnt know, and kept on saying that it was our fault that we probably didnt take it. What was stranger was that the person who had checked the security cameras and found our bag of groceries wasnt there, and didnt even tell customer service what had happened and where they had found the bag of groceries. Theres definitely something weird happening.

Not as good as the Chinese supermarkets in NYC at the search for an NJ equivalent continues. It does have the basics like the sauce, fresh fish, butcher etc. The import snacks and beverage selection is limited (and that in general is my first criticism - the selection isnt as vast). The second problem is that all but one of the food places is closed.
