The technician who met me at my car was informative polite and professional. Someone in management was very demeaning loud and vulgar towards the technicians in the garage repair area. Everyone in the waiting room heard it and was put off / repulsed by the intent as well as the content. If my wife had to hear that language I would have gone straight to corporate. On a brighter note they repaired my windshield very well.

4 hour wait even though being the first appointment of the day. When I pulled away I got the added bonus of a knocking sound under my hood. Low and behold there was a can of glass cleaner under the cowl cover!!! Also, the seal was not installed back either. Every time I poked up to watch, these kids are on their phones instead of working. Overpriced and non impressed at all with the service.

This place was amazing. We broke our truck back window, parking our RV. Safelite had someone out in 3 days. Wrong window came, but they had the correct window in 1 day. Had to drop truck because seat needed to come out. They had it ready and did a WONDERFUL JOB! Thank you Safelite.

Avoid at all costs. I had two windshields replaced at this location. The first time, the windshield started leaking shortly after the replacement was finished. The second one had a whistling sound coming through. Also, they put the wrong inspection sticker back on my car, which I didnt realize for a few weeks. So my car went from 3 months out from inspection to a month overdue. Then, you cant call and talk to anyone-- the number is just a brutal circle of automated prompts that get you nowhere. So, I submitted a message through their website and guess what--- no response!

Aside from the job being well done, the process was smooth sailing!! Usually when insurance is involved, we have to get involved with the insurance companies. Not this time! I literally did the drop&go online within a minute! And Dave was so professional and very polite on the phone every time I spoke to him ! Thank you Dave!

I had the opportunity to bring my car to them and the same day I got a call from the owner to set my appointment, first thing in the morning my car went in for windshield replacement and camera guide calibration. Since I am high risk I was concern about it and told them to please if anyone have to go inside my car to use facemask and gloves and they did it with out questioning or making excuses, then when they job was done they disinfect the interior. I wish all the business treat the customers like this people, perfect job, on time just incredible, if you need their services trust me go to SafeliTE Autoglass in Mountain Ave in Hackettston, NJ you wont regret it. Thank you guys you are the BEST.

Professionals, great quality work. Windshield chip fixed with almost no trace left. Same day appointment counts as timing is critical in case of car glass issue.

They could not have made the experience easier! A rock from a dumptruck while on Rt. 80 hit the windshield and I saw the star it made. Called safelite in Hackettstown. They transferred me to Geico, was transferred back to Safelite, scheduled an appointment in a half an hour. Pulled in, Phil the mechanic, who could not have been nicer or more professional, took the car, repaired it, explained what he had done, took my credit card and I was on my way! Terrific service! An hour after I was on 80, I was back on 80, but not close to any more dumptrucks :)

They fixed my window, but for 340$ i figured they would fix it fully so the window opens and closes. They replaced the glass and now my window doesnt work

Called and asked if they could reseal a window on my backhoe. Told me i had to buy a new windshield since they had never worked on the machine before. What a ripoff as the windshield is fine and just needs to be re-glued. so much for the recommendation I received. Be warned if you didnt buy a window from them, dont even bother to ask if they can fix it.

Came here through my insurance. Visit was quick, easy and the employees were extremely friendly.

Filed a claim through NJM. The tech came out and was nice but my price was more then it should be. Things were listed in the receipt that were not done Can not get in contact with anyone at the shop and have already spoken to NJM who also can see I was overcharged.

I took my car in immediately after the windshield was cracked. The crack was smaller than a dime. They made the crack 3 times the size. I do not recommend going to get a crack fixed. The people working there are professional. They said they were able to fix it will update after time.Update 3/11/2020Now they want to charge me 1200 plus to fix and recalibrate my windshield. Still do not recommend fixing your windshield here.

Came in July to repair my windshield. Its now December, five months to the day, and I noticed the crack expanded. I cant re-repair the crack, so the only option is to pay my $500 deductible to have it fixed. What happened to that strong resin that lasts longer? Thanks a heap, Safelite.

I had a great experience with Safelite AutoGlass. One of their technicians Mykhaylo was very attentive to all of my needs. He did an amazing job at changing my windshield glass in a very short amount of time. He also helped me change my wiper arms which were on the wrong way. This was one of my best experiences I have had with my vehicle. The customer service was outstanding.

Complete waste of time! I scheduled my windshield repair online for a 7:30am to 10:30am time slot and got a quote of $469. A week later I dropped off the car at 7:30am. Then I was told the tech might get to it around 12pm. That was the first red flag.The clueless front desk worker walked out to my car to make sure the windshield they ordered was correct since the car is a 2018. He verified they had the correct window and took the keys.Later that day I get a call at 1pm saying the wrong window was ordered and the correct window will cost well over $1000!!!The appointment was scheduled for over a week and they couldn’t get their information correct before I dropped the car off. In fact, they finally figured out what was needed hours after the repair window I signed up for. No type of compensation or resolution was offered for the inconvenience they caused. They definitely need better customer service and technical training for their staff. Also, the website should not allow a current year car to get quoted unless the prices are correct. That’s false advertising!Avoid this place if you can!

I made an AM appt day before, specially at this location which is supposed to be able to recalibrate, but when I got there @7:30am, I was told it may be 4 or 5pm until ready. 40 minute drive one way. They did work me in early enough to replace & recalibrate a new windshield, but were unable to recalibrate. SO, now I have to drag to VW dealership for recalibration of new windshield. (I called VW USA & they claim it must be done.) THIS WAS A Waste of my time & effort & GAS & MILES.

They did what they said they would do in the amount of time they said they would do it.

The guy here was super nice. He took the time to explain the process and how long it would take. Very happy with the service.

May have been because it was the day after July 4th. Dont think the guy I spoke with was concerned about trying to help me and I dont think he was enthused about being at work. Oh well the Safelight in TN was better than NJ. Just saying.

Seemed like decent people at least but had an appointment for 11 and they said about an hour and a half. They said theyd call when ready but I had my dog with me so I took him for a nice walk. Came back 1.5hrs later thinking theyd be almost done but truck was still sitting where I left it, untouched. Asked them when theyd get to it they said they would get to it next and it would take about an hour. Decided I didnt want to cancel a different appointment I had just in the hopes that they would be able to keep theirs this time around so I left. Called Finish Line instead and he gave me a quote for 100$ cheaper anyway so well see how that turns out. All Im left to rate safelite on is the job they didnt do.

Guy came in and said it should be an easy fix. Turned a 1/4 inch ding into a spider web across the whole windshield, which needs to be replaced ASAP at a cost of $2,900. The guy was in and out in 15 minutes, Hackettstown NJ shop manager, with whom i was connected through customer service, was very unprofessional, thick headed, rude and demeaning. He was not listening to what i was explaining, just defending the employee and making up excuses, and telling me to go ahead and replace the windshield at own cost. This experience was very frustrating and horrible and they didnt seem to care that I was a returning client. Will speak to the district manager, Michael Walk in regards to this absurd experience and will never deal with safelite again and will surely pass on my experience to my wide network of colleagues.

Recently, I had a rear windshield that was shattered during a windstorm by a tree branch that had fallen on it. Safelite Autoglass showed up the first time in a timely fashion but had ordered the wrong rear windshield so they had to reorder the part to comply with the VIN #, and come back when it came in. The first installer was friendly and seemed conscientious. They came back 6 days later with the right part, but the second technician (Jason) seemed kind of dismissive and as such did not give me full confidence in his professionalism and work ethic. I requested that he let me know when he was finished (it was supposed to take about an hour), so I could review it. He had already been prepaid by credit card. Anyway, I went back out about 30 minutes later, and he was already gone. The windshield seemed to be installed well, but the glass was also supposed to have been vacuumed thoroughly, and yet there were still visible shards - both large and small everywhere over the seats, the seat backs, the floor on both sides and the parcel shelf (or package tray) below the windshield. Instead I had to go to a gas station and spend nearly an hour of my time vacuuming what I could get. There are still shards remaining that are visible and that require a special tool or vacuum tip to be able to reach into the parcel shelf (speaker shelf), and yet would have been easily reachable had it been vacuumed properly before the glass was inserted and sealed. So, if you want to hire someone for what turns out to be an expensive do-it-yourself glass replacement and yet pay them for what is supposed to be included in the price, and considered part of the job, hire Safelight Autoglass of Hackettstown for workmanship that you will never forget. And neither will anyone who uses your backseat to sit in. If you have children - young or old - I would think more than twice about ever hiring them to repair broken glass, because your children may be the next victim of their incompetence.
