I just wanted to write a review about American Hearing in Hackettstown NJ . I am not a client but, I was having trouble with my current hearing aids and could not reach the company I purchased them from. So I checked the internet for a business near by. Not only did they get me in within 24 hours, but they took care of my issues, and Dr Naama took the time to educate me on many of the features of my hearing aids and how to navigate the app for the hearing aids. That is something that should have been done by the company I purchased them from. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for her help. One thing for sure, when I need another pair of hearing aids, American hearing is where I will be going for them.Robert

The people are great, the test was easy and -- should I say it -- fun. I was somewhat disappointed in that it seemed like a generic hearing test (do I need a hearing aid or not) and I was hoping for a more detailed test (how many dB am I down at 8 kHz in the right ear... and more resolution among frequencies. At this point I dont know how to get the test I want.) But this is because I would like to keep on working in the audio field. For most people, this test is just fine.

This facility was clean and inviting. Everyone I encountered was knowledgeable in answering all of my questions and concerns. The cost of the visit and the impending cost for hearing aids is very reasonable and affordable as well.

I appreciate the time Naama has spent with me to help me get the best use out of my new hearing aids. She is willing to go over things until you understand and if there is a problem she is invested in getting it resolved. Darlene, the office assistant has gone out of her way to be friendly and available. It is nice to report a more than satisfying experience.

I like that they were honest enough to NOT try to sell me hearing aids that I dont need yet. It was educational. Might change this to 4 stars if I actually receive the FREE ⛽ gift card as promised in their advertising. It would be nice if they would OFFER you a copy of their HIPA policy before asking you to sign something that says you received one! I had to ask for it! Maybe they could have a laminated copy (that could be wiped with disinfectant wipe) that they let you read BEFORE asking you to sign for it. I was unpleasantly surprised at how many places they can share my PRIVATE info - especially this- We may use or disclose your demographic information and dates of services provided to you, as necessary, in order to contact you for fundraising activities supported by the provider. Yes, I have the right to opt out, and I will - BUT I would not have known this except that I asked for a copy of a policy BEFORE signing something that said I have RECEIVED a copy of....

I went to American Hearing Center in Hackettstown after 38 years of not hearing out of my left ear. Namma Haddar and TEAM went of out of their way to help with my hearing needs. I can finally hear and everything sounds so different and amazing. The office staff was knowledgeable, understanding and helpful to my needs. Thank you American Hearing Center for bringing back quality of life that I have missed for many years!

I love the Hackettstown office of the American Hearing Centers!! They go out of their way to show kindness toward my 95 year old grandmother. They wear PPE appropriately so that my grandma feels safe. Nama listens to her and addresses and concerns that she may have. My grandmother has a lot of faith and high regard for Nama because of the respect and confidence that she exhibits.

Naama is awesome takes the time need not only to make you feel comfortable but truly that you understand how to work your hearing aids and all of the benefits. On top of that the staff is outstanding.I highly recommend !

We received a letter asking us to come in for a free hearing assessment and cleaning or adjustment of any current hearing aids. We called to make the appointment and had to answer a lot of questions. I told them EVERYTHING including information that we are moving. When they had no appointments available on the one day they set for this event, they tried to move us to April, I had to remind them that we wouldnt be here in April, so they made our appointment for the next morning.In the office, they handed me the 20 page registration forms. I reminded them that we were not going to be long term patients because we were moving. With that she said...we can still do the assessments, but we will charge you for them.WE LEFT. They obviously dont provide free hearing assessments.

I have been using this facility for over a year. Everyone, especially, Naama Hadar makes you feel comfortable and at ease if this is the first time you are seeking advice and help with loss of hearing. You are not rushed and all your questions answered.She has also helped when my husbands hearing aid tubing became disconnected. He isnt one of her clients, as he goes to the VA, but she fixed it for him at no cost.

All appointments were kept on time. The receptionist was efficient, pleasant, knowledgeable and responsive. Naama is the epitome of what a patient would want and need. She is most knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, willing to try all alternatives to achieving patient satisfaction and a perfect listener and communicator. Besides all of this her personality and charm make every visit a delight.

I have had hearing problems for many years now, I was a little apprehensive about going to the American hearing center but my fears were not warranted the staff at the Hackettstown center was fantastic. The staff was very appreciative of my situation and were eager to help, all my questions were answered and everything was explained I would not hesitate to recommend this center to anyone who is thinking about getting hearing aids.

Naama and her team are awesome. I received a warm and professional greeting upon arrival by Darlene. After competing the usual forms, I was quickly (within 5 minutes) Introduced to Naama. We sat and discussed my hearing and Naama walked me through the process for the visit. Each stage of the testing was fully explained. Upon completion of the testing, the results were reviewed and explained and sample devices were fitted for my evaluation.I returned the next to pick up my new hearing devices and have them adjusted for my prescription. Naama took all the time I needed to ensure that I was getting the most out of my devices and the app for my phone.On each of my subsequent follow-up visits, Naama asked pointed, open-ended questions to ensure that I was still getting the most out of my devices and to determine if I was observing an improvement in my hearing and quality of life.The answer is definitely YES!!! My new devices are fabulous and Naama and her staff are AWESOME!!!!I would highly recommend American Hearing Centers, Hackettstown, NJ, Naama and her staff. If you are experiencing hearing loss, this team will help find a solution for you.

Ive been very please with a service that I have received from the staff and professionals in the office They have been courteous and helpful and have made me aware of the functions in my hearing aids. This has been extremely helpful since it provides incentive to use the hearing aids rather than leaving them on the counter.

When I visited the American Hearing Center I needed a repair for my hearing aid and an adjustment. Naama was very knowledgeable as to what I needed to have done. She adjusted my hearing aids to perfection to things I didnt even know that could be done to them. She personally set my hearing aids to four different programs to suit my different situations. As I explained my problems with lack of clarity of hearing she listened and adjusted them accordingly. Its now a pleasure to be able to wear my hearing aids and be able to understand people talking to me with more clarity. They are 100% better. Thank you Naama for seeing my problem and helping me achieve better hearing.

Naama Hadar worked with my mother to identify her hearing deficits, and provided several hearing aid options to my mother, with a thorough explanation of the positives and negatives of each plan. She has advocated for my mother by arranging for a hearing impaired phone for her residence - a device my mother is using with much success. Wearing hearing aids required an adjustment both physically and emotionally. Thanks to Naama, I was able to hurdle the personal issues and felt comfortable with the transition. What a great experience! My signicant other has had hearing issues as long as we have been together! He worked many years in industries that were loud as well as serviced in the armed force. They worked with him to get the best devices to inable him to hear things he has not heard in years. They went to the extent to make sure he had ALL the correct testing he needed beyond just a hearing test. Naama was just wonderful! After a tech glitch not her fault just a tech issue. All is great! Kelly was always available to answer any questions or concerns! I was a bit worried about how he would take to wear hearing aids and I had thoughts of they are going to be huge and really noticeable. I was so surprised by how small they are. He has 2 different units because of his hearing lose. Now Im asking him to turn up the tv because i cant hear it. FIVE STARS

I can’t say enough about the experience I had with American Hearing Center in Hastings Square, Hackettstown New Jersey. I saw an advertisement on Facebook for a consultation and brought my Mom in for an appointment. Darlene was wonderful, empathetic and extremely helpful in getting that set up for me. Our first visit was with Ryan, who did an amazing job at thoroughly explaining the technology and use of hearing aids to my mom and myself. The hearing aids were ready in two days! The second visit was with Joanne, Who was every bit as thorough and lovely. My mother is a different person with her new hearing aids and this office staff is largely responsible for the entire positive experience we both have had. Highly recommend, A++!
