Great experience. David and John were very helpful and honest. Took care of my drivetrain malfunction caused by some rodents getting under my hood and chewing away at the Fuel rail pressure sensor wiring connection. Also did a oil change and fluid check on my 2015 BMW 428i. Will continue to use for issues and maintain vehicle here.

Nobody knows BMWs better. Its quality work for sometimes not so quality cars. Straight forward, no nonsense diagnosis and estimates. Friendly staff and hundreds if not thousands cheaper than dealership costs. Dont go anywhere else or youll learn the hard way that Bavarian is the only way.

I had a general question about my BMW and John took the time to answer my questions over the phone today. He was happy to help and answer any BMW question I had. He didnt make me feel like I was a burden for calling instead of coming in with my vehicle. I can tell by my conversation with him over the phone that hes an honest person and just loves helping customers. He took the time to ask me questions to make sure hes understanding my explanation and make sure were on the same page. Usually, shops are annoyed when customers call and ask a bunch of questions, but not John! That says a lot about his character and service.

Nest BMW guys in the regional area. Rate very high due to John being an automotive genius and engineer. Hes German decent and its like you are back in Germany getting service. Very direct personality. but fun loving. Len is really good too.

I usually do a lot of DIY maintenance on my e46 and decided the struts were due for replacements. Unfortunately I dont have a decent spring compressor and auto store rental spring compressors are pretty sketchy. Attempted the rental compressor (didnt work out well, dont recommend it) and after realizing it wasnt going to work and I was on a time constraint getting my car finished I remembered seeing this place and gave them a call. I brought my strut assemblys to them and they were able to take the time out of their day to switch out my new struts onto the springs for me and I was able to get my new struts installed. They were super kind and seemed really knowledgeable and Id certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a good independent bmw shop!

These guys are great, brought my newly purchased 2011 M3 in for a diagnostics and to verify the work done that the seller claimed. They quickly addressed the vehicle and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Will definitely use them for all future work on my E90.

Horrible place to bring your BMW if you know nothing about cars. My cousin borrowed my BMW brought it to them without me knowing and dropped nearly 6K on a used motor. A used motor!!!! I called them up and spoke with John. I told him I could have bought a new motor for that price and apparently he thought I was an idiot like my cousin and told me no I couldn’t. Sorry sir I’m a lot smarter than that. I could have gotten a used motor installed and all for less than 3K. He tried to tell me no I couldn’t. I sure as heck could. I’ve never in the history of my life seen a used motor installed and all for 6K. Scam artist. Then it still had problems and made noise what sounded to be a pulley due to their installment of a used engine so took it back cause it was still under warranty according to the receipt but he told me there’s no warranty and used motors are gonna have problems and smoke. Seriously??? Then why put a motor in that smokes? They said the steering pump was bad. Didn’t believe them at all so I cut ties and took it to someone honest and who knew what they were doing. Nothing wrong with the steering pump at all. On my model BMW there’s a tensioner they left out when swapping engines. Steering pump was perfectly fine and had nothing to do with anything. This other place also told me they could have got a used engine for 2500 labor parts and all. Will not be going back to Bavarian. No thank you.

Took our 535 in for check engine light. They found the problem and took care of it in a timely manner. I called the shop and asked John to change the brakes last minute. He was able to get it done and have it back to us in the same time frame initially quoted. They even stayed after hours to go over everything that was fixed and do a test drive to verify the work was completed. He is honest and fair!

John provides great service at a reasonable price. Explains all possible options before performing work. Serviced my E30, E46, and E38 at his shop. Great turnaround time and knows BMWs like the back of his hand. Shop gets busy during the week and must call in ahead of time. Cant think of a more reliable BMW shop.

The guys at this shop are great. They took me in on short notice when nobody would and the price charged is very reasonable. Would recommend to any BMW owner needing work.

I didnt come here for service but instead to ask some general questions and they topped off my power steering fluid and checked my tires free of charge. I will be bringing my vehicle back here in the future should it need work based off of my experience thus far.

I have talked to these guys several times about work I need done. They have given bids that are better than every single BMW dealership in DFW. So far they have been much more honest and more pleasant to deal with than the BMW dealerships. They did a break job on my BMW and have shot me straight on two other items. I will use them again.

Owner of Bavarian Motor Sports is extremely unprofessional and lacks customer service. Began to yell at me because I refused to buy auto parts from him that he over priced by 45%. I told him I would purchase the parts myself and if he can just do the labor which he was not fond of what so ever. He began to be rude and stated how people do not understand he has to make a living. I informed him he would still make money being that I am paying for his services to install the parts, however, he continued to be rude and raise his voice at me. (I was literally close to punching him in the face) In addition, he uses aftermarket brands that are cheap and later brake down. I recommend going else where!

This is the place to go to get you BMW fixed. I am on my second 5 Series wagon and John has been a huge help on both of my cars. His incredible knowledge of these cars is amazing. Here is a recent great example that impressed me. I had a AWD warning light that would come on at random times. I gave John all the details of when it was happening, he wisely told me to charge the battery! Solved the problem. He explained that the AWD sensors are very voltage sensitive so a low battery will cause that light to come on. WOW!!

Its been about 2 or 3 weeks now since Ive gotten my 328i back from this shop. I was experiencing problems with my engine shutting off at random times so you can only imagine how frustrating that could be. Lynn over at the shop reviewed my car that SAME day and found time within his busy schedule to fix my problems in only a couple hours! Unbelievable! I recommend this shop 100% to everybody in the area who loves BMWs as much as we do.

The best independent BMW repair shop in the metroplex. John and his staff took care of a number of my cars for nearly 2 decades, including an E21 Sedan, E34 Sedan, E34 Touring, E34 M5 Touring and E39 Touring. By focusing only on BMWs their understanding and familiarity of the common and uncommon things that can go wrong is the best. Fair prices, no pressure to do work you dont need, and John is always helpful to explain options, alternatives and consequences. If you enjoy owning an older BMW, I cant think of a better partner in happy ownership.

Stopped in today (18 Apr 2015). I was actually trying to get my tire inflated, with nitrogen at Jefferies, but they were closed. I saw his shop doors open so I thought I would stop and check to see if he just happen to have the ability to add nitrogen to my tire. When I asked him if he had the ability to inflate my tire with nitrogen he said No. He then asked me what type car I had and I told him it was a Subaru. He then said I only work on BMWs. Then followed with a lecture on how it was a waste of money and that BMWs drove the autobahn at 160 mph with air in their tires. The arrogance of this individual is appalling. I am not ignorant to vehicles. Although I do not work on current models I have worked on and restored vehicles from the 1920s through the early 1980s, and did a stent as a diesel mechanic after high school, over 40 years ago.My brother owns a BMW, and I have a friends who own them as well and will let them all know that this is not the place to take their vehicle for repair, unless they want to interact with a rude and arrogant proprietor.My lesson from this experience is not to take or refer anyone I know BMW to Bavarian Motor Sports Inc. for repair. I hope he reads this and takes a lesson in customer service.

He has extensive diagnostic & programming skills that make him your best choice for expert bmw service & repair. My car was at 2 other shops & 1 local bmw dealer. Sometimes its not about having everything go right but how things are handled when they go wrong... And that is where John (the owner) excels. When a requested service item was inadvertently over looked on my vehicle... he stepped up and took care of the service at half price. thanks John!
