Absolutely loved this beautiful little bookstore. It had so many interesting books, used and some new and all had reasonable prices and also had beautiful consignment pieces. I am visiting from Kansas City and fell in love with this lovely store. They also had a lovely little coffee shop and comfy chairs to sit as you drank your coffee and read your book. I bought some of the works by local artists and artisans. An all around lovely experience and the staff was so helpful and friendly🙂✨💖

This place has everything! Good selection of books, great coffee, best cards, and an amazing selection of gifts. And the best staff! Truly a neighborhood treasure!

Lovely book store featuring gently used books in good condition for half price. Also includes some cool jewelry and fun items for kids and big kids. Not too mention the delightful coffee/tea bar with great baked goods!

This is a great old-fashioned used book store with unusual gift items & jewelry - some local plus an awesome collection from Nepal - and a terrific coffee bar with fresh-baked goodies. I really love this place and the people who run it. Id give it 10 stars if I could.

The iced coffee here is probably the best Ive had in the New Haven area. Its very strong, but tastes indescribably amazing, and pairs well with the cookies and brownies they serve. Its like angels dancing on your tongue.The bookshop is quiet and a great place to work or chat with a friend for a while.

Yes, it is nice place to hang out. not various book as a matter of fact. a lot of gifts was amazing because of their collections and reasonable price. coffee shop was nice, too. bathroom, well nice but need to be fixed.

Larger collection of books than I expected to find. Everything is ordered and easy to browse in a clean and well spaced layout. I was not as interested in the non-book items but they did seem to have a wide selection of cards and jewelry that likely help out: print books arent as popular as they once were so its nice to see a store that tries to do what it can to stay around! The coffee shop inside was also great and the woman working there was kind and thoughtful. Overall a great experience. I plan on making a regular trip there when I need more books!

I am so glad I finally got to visit this landmark bookstore. With sections on Muckraking, Anarchists, and Class Warfare, it wears its progressive heart on its sleeve. I could have easily spent hours here! I especially enjoyed the display of books that they publish themselves. I am usually pretty thrifty, but even I couldnt leave without buying a stack of books. My favorite place in Hamden!

I love this bookstore, my parents used to bring us when we were little and now I go as often as I can. When ever Im looking for a book I always try to stop there first to see if they have it before I but it brand new because theyre books are basically like brand new.

My daughter and I love this place. There are used books, jewelry, small gifts, and a coffee shop. Its a great place to sit for a while and read or just look around. Try out the cafe next door too.

Cozy place and the hot chocolate is delicious ❤️ they have a fairly decent variety of books and they have a lil jewelry and toys as well. They have cards there that are really funny and what looked like to be hand made but i didnt actually Check if they were hand made or not
