Our go-to cheese store. Great selection of charcuterie and condiments too. Depend on Bon Appetit to prepare the perfect gift basket if you’re unable to choose the contents in person. This “boutique” cheese store is a welcome antidote to the big box warehouses where most of us shop. It’s probably cheaper too, because when you buy on a human scale you waste less, Also far kinder to the environment, since your purchases are wrapped on the premises, usually in wax paper.

Fantastic selection but wildly overpriced and masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Still, its a fabulous selection of cheeses and accoutrements for a special occasion. Id also recommend checking out the wine store next to it for something to pair with your choices

It is a hidden gem in Hamden. Great cheese selection and other delicious goodies!!! Everything high quality and fresh. The place is always clean and the attendants very friendly and professional. They also create great gift baskets. My daughters and I are loyal customers. Even my 8 year old granddaughter likes the place so much that called it The Yummy Store!!! I truly recommend.

Gina and her team always go the extra mile in making a delicious cheese board. The store smells delicious. Fresh bread from New York. Desserts are excellent too. More than just a cheese shoppe.

Wonderful gem in Hamden. Best place to go for gourmet meats and cheeses, all your cooking and baking needs, candy, French pastries, gift baskets and all. CBD infused olive oil and the French butter, the best ! Everyone extremely helpful and friendly. Its a small place and due to social distancing, there may be a little wait but so worth it!

Every basket or tray i order here has been fabulous and sparks a bunch of new customers! And when stopping in, my palette gets exposed to a whole new experience with new cheeses and other foods they have there!

I had a great experience at Bon Appetit. I went there to get a gift basket of food for a friend. The people there helped me find exactly what I needed. The store has a great variety of gourmet products, and they worked with me to keep within my budget and were very helpful and friendly. They wrapped the basket up and I was on my way. And my friend loved it!
