Found what I was looking for Prices are good...even though they are up a little because of shipping issues prices were still reasonable.

I like this store for several reasons. They carry many of the same items as their sister store ShopRite up the street, but for less money. While they dont carry as much as ShopRite, I often can find everything I need. the recent store makeover is nice, and I have no problem locating items in the appropriate areas. They show their concern with safety, always having wipes available just inside the first set of doors. The produce is decent, and although they dont always have every type of fruit/vegetable available, the supply is more than ample. The store is very clean and bright, and the parking lot is very well lit and safe. Even the background music is cool! (Listen to it sometime, youll see.) While I love the prices, I have to say they have the best, friendliest employees working there! I find it funny that a union keeps trying to get the employees to join-the employees have zero interest in joining ( from what they have told me personally) and really seem to be enthusiastic about working there. They take pride in their jobs, and it shows!

Nice clean store dont always have the spices I need but everything else is ok. Also need more security the way I see people casually walk in and steal and walk back out like nothing. Its so sad.

Its a great place for bargains but you should know how much items should cost and check freshness before purchasing.

Very good supermarket but theres selection of steaks is very slim and high-priced if you want better steak you go to Save-A-Lot

One of the weirdest and most disorganized grocery store Ive been in. Produce section is fine, but the aisles are all over the place. Prices were ridiculous in certain sections, particularly in cleaning and sanitary supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). I hate to say it, but Id rather go to Walmart :/

I hate to say this but can’t hold it that whenever I go there for shopping I never find a cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer which most of the grocery stores always keep them at front entrance… also, they hardly stock their produces but if you do find it’s not fresh at all!

Only self check out registers working. Takes longer when you get larger orders ahead of you and there isnt enough space to maneuver when the large orders block the access to front registers.

Great location. Large selection of produce and dairy items. The aisles are very organized and it is easy to locate all of your shopping items. Also, very well lit with large aisles for multiple carts to pass each other.

I like Price Right,its name brand and Price Right brands. I like that because theres more choices in name brand products when you want a official name brand and Price Right brands when youre looking for cheaper ingredients.

Great place to shop for groceries everything is really lowest prices you can get around even cheaper than Walmart. I recommend to come over the weekdays because the weekend are super crazy busy the store get pretty hectic. Theres a lot staff and the brand price rite stuff is pretty similar to the real deal. Expect to spend here at $100 for a 2 week worth of groceries.

Very clean, very quiet, and very cheap prices! I still prefer going to Walmart though, because of the humongous selection of food and other miscellaneous items you would need in your home. Its a cool market for when Im short on time.

Prices of same brand items are a fraction of the cost and generic items are extremely affordable. This store beats the overpriced nonsense at a couple of the stores a mile north. The staff are friendly, some of the ones that have been really friendly to me personally are Joy the manager, Virgil and Jeff both cashiers and Isaiah in the produce Dept. The shoppers are generally down to earth friendly people. The folks who work here are doing a hard job especially during this unprecedented crazy public health crisis. Props

Price Rite is pretty good . It has a lot of name brands & also Shop Rite products. Most of the time the prices are much cheaper than other stores. I bought a cake ; yellow w/ vanilla frosting & sprinkles it was $4.99. In another store it would have been about $15. And it was real good very moist & fresh. U have to bring your own bags or buy them there. Depending on what your looking for its worth going to.

I love Price Rite! Wide selection including International aisles featuring Goya and West Indian products. They also carry Glory food products too. Friendly helpful staff. Great place to shop with very reasonable prices! One of those stores where you can bring your own bags or purchase them for 10 cents. They also have a wide variety of fresh produce.

I like this Price Rite. Less crowded, cleaner, and more fully stocked than Bridgeport. They have a bigger selection of Asian food. But only 4 stars bc they have a way smaller selection of Italian groceries!😣

I love Pricerite. Basically a discount grocery store, relatively small but packed with a lot. I can spend about $75 here for every $175 I would spend at Stop and Shop. And you will find some foods here that you cant get at Stop and Shop. The selection can vary some from week to week, but after shopping here a few times you will have an idea of what you can count on them having.However, I cannot do all my shopping at this store. For instance, they no longer carry a rennet-free/animal-enzyme free cheese. It doesnt make a difference to me, but some folks would care that they do not have a deli. And it is worth mentioning for those that would be interested that if you are interested in things like organic potatoes, and other organic produce, you will not find it here (plus, some things, like organic milk, will cost you about the same here as at any other store). You are better off buying most cleaning products, like Lysol wipes, elsewhere.And for some items, like Ibuprofen, you will get the dollar store discount, meaning a small price but for only a small amount. If you dont have cash upfront for a bigger amount, it is worth it, but you will end up paying more. That said, for stocking up on many staples and snacks, if you live close enough to make the trip worth it, it is excellent.

Store is stocked fairly well with a decent selection for a price rite. If you like the price rite shopping model, this is one of the better stores Ive been in. Good prices for more. Parking is decent and there is a light at the intersection to come into and out of the parking lot fairly smoothly. This store is usually clean and the attitude of the employees here are average but not bad.

This store is an absolute disgrace to all Price Rites. I drove 30 minutes to go to this store. I did my shopping while trying to go around all the people re organizing all the isles in the whole store it was total chaos. The floors were absolutely disgustingly dirty. I ended up getting so frustrated dealing with it all so I just went to check out. I had $115 in my grocery cart and realized I forgot my card. I got someone to send me a picture of it and I had my license to prove that it was my card and asked them to just punch the numbers in. They said they wouldn’t do it and they refused to help me. The manager was so rude. And I had to leave my cart there with my daughter crying because she didn’t get her food. The humility of people in that place and absolutely ridiculous and I will never go back to that store again.

I can find everything I love using including a lot of GOYA products.

The prices got a bit more pricy after the remodel. And finding things got a bit harder. Other than that- a really good store to shop in

Ok, I like Price rite for a few things. They have a hot Italian sausage that is pretty good, their prices are ok & sometimes their produce is good. I also dont love the layout of the store. However, if you want bacalao, different spices & a few more ethnic items without traveling to Hartford, Orange or Bridgeport, take a look.

Good prices. Used to go here a lot, but go mostly to Aldi now because its more convenient. Now, I go about two-three times a year for cakes for birthdays or mothers day. A little unorginized. One time, my mom and I were there, she became a little annoyed because she couldnt find Vitamin Water, a manager came over and said we dont sell Vitamin Water, thats not really water, then he said I dont make policy, it was pretty busy that day. I said mom, its not worth the aggravation, if you make a scene, theyll call the cops, theyll come and youll get busted for disorderly conduct, and I cant bail you out. My mom and I were talking about that a couple weeks ago how the manager said they dont sell Vitamin Water and my mom getting annoyed, my mom said You have stuff for Latinos and Espanols, Im getting a little tired of things being catered to them, everything seems to be geared for them.

The store has been redone and looks amazing. The produce department especially shows an amazing improvement, no more boxes for fruits and veggies. Everything has a definite place and you dont have to dig thtough boxes to get what you want. Prices are reasonable storewide and they have a wonderful selection of fresh produce. Great job folks!

98+ percent of my grocery shopping is done at Price Rite of Hamden. All the products I prefer Price Rite 90 percent of the time stock it.
