Great prices thanks for the home and such as pots and pans I purchased a nice size frying pan excellent price and a dutch oven very reasonable in price

As a family we spend every bit of $1000 every month on groceries. Never again Aldi the cashier Charles was very rude and disrespectful for someone that could be his father’s age, he left the conveyer on the one position which led to mix my items with the customer in front of me that made him raise his voice and made everyone at the register area look at me like I did something wrong ( absolutely not my fault).I will never use your store anymore.

I love shopping here you save so much money. This store is designed better than others with getting thru the store getting what you wanted. The parking alot is also spacious.

Love it. I do most of my weekly shopping there. So glad they got tofu and other ingredients so I can save so much weekly. I love that many of the products are organic too. During the pandemic the staff was especially professional, helpful and gracious.

Great experience! The groundskeeper is doing an amazing job even though some late Sunday players are less than respectful of the game and dont take care of their scars. Its such a great value here.

This store is super small and from what Ive been told its the most expensive Aldis around. I have looked a few times but never bought anything as they arent a good deal. Shopright is less expensive and have more name brand items

Great prices, pretty decent selection, helpful staff, clean store. What more could you ask for in a grocery store? The only thing that can be a little frustrating is the inventory changes quite a bit week to week, so, if you get something you really like, theres a chance it wont be there the next time you go. But, it doesnt happen so often that itll stop you from shopping there. And on the flip side, they do have some great products that are there 99% of the time.

Great Sales my small shopping store

It’s so wrong to keep only 2 cashiers to check out their customers whenever I visit there. The store seems very busy most of the times. Sometimes it’s well stocked, and sometimes not.

I ordered groceries from Aldies through Instacart at the store in Hamden, Connecticut I always loved their produce well I bought peaches, nectarines, vine ripened tomatoes, strawberries, mandarin oranges, and spring mix lettuce all rotted in 2 days had to throw out some of peaches, all of tomatoes, and some of nectarines, blueberries were mush, strawberries the same. This has never happened before but now you will not pay the crazy price of Instacart nor trust the personal shopper Aldis Assigns. Aldis may be cheaper then other stores but quality is not a part of their vocabulary. I am disappointed and as a result will gladly pay a higher price for better quality food. Totally disgusted by products!!!

Great store to shop. The place is clean and parking area very large. Selections of fruit and vegetables very limited.🍁 From fresh produce to organic foods, we’ve got it all for less, every day. Come into the Hamden ALDI and get your favorite groceries for your home at incredibly low prices!🍁

I normally go to ober in Milford, but I work close to this one so if theres traffic on way home, I waste time in here! Plenty of parking. This one is bigger than Milford too, but not more selection. Prices have gone up this year, but still significantly less than most any other place. Just know you wont get name brand, except on occasion. Fruit and veggies are good. Love Clancy chips. Every Friday I get my .49 fruit pie... chicken and salmon prices are hard to beat. Nice vegetarian selections, and gluten free items too. Prices for nondairy milk is awesome. Eggs are always cheap.. even cheaper than on sale at pricerite. I love their ipa, and the one I buy is $8 for 6pk, compared to $12 at other store for comparable item. I do 90% of my shopping at aldi. Love it. Couldnt make my budget without them.

Small, organize, and cheap. It has all the necessary staff and home needs which is perfect.

This brand new Aldi location is a wonderful addition to the Hamden community.The building itself is very clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate (great signage!) It is also handicap accessible with, wheelchair friendly parking lot and entrance, wide aisles and checkouts.It has all of the things we love and respect from the Aldi brand: low prices, friendly quick service, organic fresh produce, gf and many healthy buying options as well as great seasonal home and lifestyle buys.This is my favorite location so far. I love that the produce and fresh flowers are the first thing that you walk into, and the wide open layout. I found the staff to be a little green (they just opened!) but very helpful, friendly, and hard working. I imagine that this location will remain very busy. It was packed when we were in, one day after the grand opening.If you have never been to an Aldi location: bring a quarter and reusable bags, and enjoy the savings!

I like this store. Prices are great, and the products are good.The only thing I can criticize is the store is a lot smaller than the others Ive been to.

Great food @ good prices

We used to love shopping here. However, today the cashier was literally throwing my purchases into the cart and messed up 2 or 3 of them. Two items even fell to the floor. I asked her politely to slow down as my groceries are basically turned to mush by now, she said this is how we do things here. I do understand that they need to be quick, but I want my groceries to eat them, not to feed the to cattle or pets.

ALDI has become my main grocery store since I moved to Hamden 2 years ago. They rarely have EVERYTHING I need, but they have all the staples, their prices are good and their produce is fresh. (As a hiker, they have the best, most affordable selection of trail snacks.) The store is always clean, and while the lines at checkout always look long, they move quickly because the cashiers are so efficient.

It has some items there that I like a lot. I give it a 6

The store is clean, isles are free to walk through. There products are from all over the US, but prices are good......The only down fall is there is never enough help at the registers. You will have to stand in line for awhile. Correct this and the store is worth six stars. I was in this occupation for thirty five years, running supermarkets six times this size. Customer service should always be the number one priority!

Very reasonable prices, easy to navigate and find what we were looking for despite our first time in the store. Few stalls are in a little disarray. Bathroom is closed which is very inconvenient.

Love Aldis but they should really check the produce, brought these 8/23/20 opened it 8/23/20 and this is what it looked like. I often look for the best looking produce when shopping. This isn’t the first time I had this experience with the produce. Still a fan of Aldis but they should definitely should pay more attention to the produce.

This location is super clean. Excellent prices for gluten free and organic products. Plenty of parking.

I do most of my shopping at the Hamden store. It usually has most of what I need. However, do not expect a lot of choices in bacon. That hasnt fully replenished, cuz you know COVID. But otherwise its a good store

A really clean store and items at a really great price. I don’t like how there’s no phone number to the store if there’s any issues.Also when you’re bagging, the cashier has no problem jumping items into your bag or bagging spot While you’re sorting things out; I remember my cashier smiling because I was trying to sort things so it was almost like they’re playing a game with me by just consistently Tossing stuff into the bagging area.Also they’ll have one cashier register open so if you have one item, you’ll have to wait for other people with lots of stuff. It’s better to go to another store if you are getting two or three things to save time.I was there a more polite about it. When you cut corners, always come off as a professional.

This place has some great soup! also a wide selection of hot foods and packaged sandwiches. the produce section is small yet has everything you might need for last minute groceries. can get a bit crowded sometimes but when 3 lanes are open the line moves fast.

Pretty busy today but the cashier who happened to be new was very quick and courteous. Also great prices

Aldis is a favorite of mine. Good quality meats, and great frozen food section. Really a great selection of products.

Good food selection, great prices, clean, plenty of parking. Lines can be long, but typically move at decent pace. Wish they had more dairy free options for child with allergies.

Great food, great prices. The manager was off one day and left her groceries to chase after a shoplifter with 2 carriages full of gourmet peanuts. That’s what I call dedication.

Love ALDI fresh produces and store very clean and organized very friendly place.

Hands down one if the best places to shop. Only downfall is when you become addicted to an item that is seasonal or just a limited time only item.

This store is clean and organized. Its the perfect size to have everything you need but also allow you to get in and out quickly. The prices are fantastic...I spend close to half what I spend at other grocery stores in the area. The employees are friendly and helpful. Love this store!

So glad to have one so close to home! This is my favorite place to grocery shop. Smaller than the Stop and Shop across the street, it is so easy to do you shopping for the week in 30 minutes and not have to deal with the crowds or pay inflated prices. Absolutely worth checking it out - just dont forget your quarter for the shopping carts.

Cashiers always friendly! Some creepy guy came up to me today and tried to talk to my baby. I felt as if he kept following me. He had no items in hand nor did he have a carriage. I told the associate I saw restocking shelves that I felt really uncomfortable and she followed me throughout the store so I can finish my shopping. When I was done she went outside with me to make sure my baby and I got in my car safely. This was awesome to me!

My favorite grocery store for 20 years just keeps getting better. Price savings of a members-only store like BJs or Costco without the huge quantities or annual fees. Plus, in and out quickly.

Very clean store.Not to big, not to small.Well laid out easy to find things.Staff very helpful and smiles.They do need a motorized cart for shoppers that cannot walk that well.They also need another cashier.Ive been in there 2x the same girl was ringing, shes very good, but there should be someone to help her. Her name is Kayla, and she is extremely effeciant with her customers.The only improvement that can be made, the lighting, its a little dark for a store.But I will keep going there.

This is comparable to other Aldi stores. Bring your own bags and bring a quarter for parking. Great for Staples and very quick. Its not Whole Foods, but who else has bananas for 44¢ a pound?
