The service is exemplary - so friendly and knowledgeable.They got me hooked through the monthly cheese boxes. I discovered new cheeses and came to understand what I preferred.Their selection improved tremendously compared to when they first opened.Highly recommended.They have buffalo, goat, sheep, and cow based cheeses. They also have a good vegan cheese selection. Their cheese curds are Québécoise approved (fresh on Fridays)!

Just fantastic! I love the variety of cheeses and while I have yet to visit in a non-COVID world, the owner does an incredible job and makes it so easy to order for curbside pickup or delivery. I love that I can select my cheeses myself, tell them to surprise me, or some combination. Everything I’ve tried has been exceptional. The non-cheese things are great too - I’m obsessed with the water crackers! They’re around $7 a pack but since they are so thin you end up getting a lot in a box and they really allow the cheese to shine. Summer sausage is also extremely tasty!

The absolute best cheese shop! Yvette is equal parts knowledgeable and inviting. I highly recommend their monthly cheese boxes. My husband and I love to make a date night in out of it sampling the different cheeses over a bottle of wine. They also offer vegan cheese. Great for any occasion.

Love this little cheese shop! So many wonderful cheeses from Ontario farms and you can definitely taste the difference. They have vegan cashew based cheeses also. Definitely a must visit if you love cheese, and who doesnt?!

I recently ordered some cheese for a social-distanced birthday party, hoping to make a few small charcuterie boards for some friends so everyone could have the same things on their tray but without sharing food. When I sent in an email, the woman I spoke to helped me pick out what to order in my budget, and agreed to pre-divide everything up for me so I didnt have to navigate a sterile environment in my kitchen. We also ordered a brie to use as a cake, and she was so helpful all the way through the process. I even missed my pick up date and she sent me a reminder because she knew she was closing for a few days and wanted to make sure that I didnt miss picking up the cheese before the party. In a time where celebrating is so much more complicated, she could not have made it more simple. I will definitely be ordering again! Thank you!

We went here because The Cannon was full to overflowing. What a lovely surprise! Both of us had an Americano and shared a slice of lemon cake. It tasted like homemade. They also have gelato here, about 10 flavors, for the ice cream lover. There is also a lunch menu featuring Tuscan-themed panini and pizzas. Give it a try - especially for the coffee. You wont be disappointed.

Yvette is just amazing. I may be a bit biased but hear me out here.The location of this shop used to be a glute free bakery. My daughter needs gluten free foods so we loved treating her. But then they left. We were so sad to go back to frozen supermarket breads again. And then - along came the cheese shop. It just so happens my daughter was taught by her Nana that cheese is a gift from the gods and they officially labelled themselves Cheese dogs.Yvette always has always been warm and friendly with our family and we try to visit as often as funds allow - even if its just for a cheese snack pack! Those are amazing! Instead of buying fries or chips or chocolate we buy a cheese snack pack!She always has great suggestions and if you havent heard about their beer and cheese nights you need to ask!! It was fun! Even my hubby who hates everything enjoyed himself and asked when the next one will be!It has been a fabulous year with you around and I do hope you stick around for another 11 as a little girl has her heart set on apprenticing in your shop! LolCheck out the shop - please remember as with all local businesses, sometimes the selection is not massive - this is because the product she gets is fresh and delicious. The more people who buy from this lovely shop, the more she can buy and the wider variety she can offer! (At least I assume ;) ) so stop in on Saturdays to sample something new, or pick up a snack pack for the kids to walk with! You may discover a new favourite! Handeck is simply devine! LOL
