Im originally from Chicago but have lived here for over 8 years and decent pizza down here is nearly impossible to find until now. We are so impressed! The food is delicious. Not only that but they went above and beyond for us and delivered just South of Darby. You have definitely gained a customer for good as we will be ordering here again and again. Arrived kind of late and were told we would have to move to the bar if we wanted to eat. Our waiter was also the bartender & even though he was a busy guy we received great service. You could tell he was well liked by customers because everyone found him to say goodbye before they left. The food was delicious & pretty healthy servings. Definitely didnt leave hungry.

Killer pies and wings. Lasagna and spaghetti are very good as well. Also super friendly staff who will let you watch your favorite football game at the bar while they keep the food and drinks flowing. One of my favorite casual spots to hit during our time here. Probably 20 visits over the past 2 months.

Being from Nebraska, and visiting in Montana it was difficult to decide where to eat. We chose Kodiak Jax and we loved it. My nachos were delish, Ronnies waffle fries were perfect. I had the Italian Bistro salad and not only was it amazing,but beautifully presented as well. Ronnie had pizza and it too exceeded expectations. Our waitress was upbeat and perky, even though it was a bit later in the evening. She went out of her way to find me a perfect beer selection as well. Overall a total 10!

My favorite pizza place for years. The best cheesy breadsticks, good spaghetti, salads, and loaded nachos, to name a few. If youre in the mood for a chill atmosphere and good food this is it!

Great place to go with a family. The waitresses are so kind and the food is served quickly. Weve only ever had pizza there and we go b/c of the family atmosphere and also they have gluten free pizza!!!

Was SO disappointed last night as we LOVE this place and dine here at least 3 times a week as well as recommend it for guests visiting the area. As a customer service rep in the hospitality industry, I enjoy giving recommendations for my favorite eateries. Kodiak Jax II has been one of my top favorites! Last night the food was good, but cold, as the service was as bad as it gets. As it was not very busy, it should not have taken over an hour to get our order - then another 10 minutes to get silverware. While we waited, a couple in a nearby table left because no one would wait on them. We DO get that help is hard to obtain, but there is no reason for a complete lack of customer service.

Great sandwiches and salads. I really likes the seasoned fries! Fun Montana atmosphere. I would definitely eat here again when in Hamilton.

We love the cheese sticks... In fact Ive never eaten anything else but these . They do not suck... They are everything you wanted and didnt know you needed....

I dont know what is going on down there, but the pizzas are nothing like they used to be. This one is burnt. We ate part of it cuz we were starved and didnt want to wait another 30 minutes. Just order a pizza for delivery, and they screwed up the whole pizza. Hopefully this next one is right and not burnt.Thank God when we go in for lunch, Lori always takes care of us and the sandwiches are great. Night crew needs a new night crew.

We ordered pizza tonight from our hotel. Delivery was quicker than they told us. The pizza was AWESOME. One of the best pizzas Ive had. Even beats my home town favorite. Loved it.

Ugh. 0/2 in delivery well over delivery times. Cold pizza. Again. Call in and the owner Luke, just reacted by phone as if losing a customer was okay. Sad too. They have the best pizza in town.

Sometimes it’s great. Sometimes it’s undercooked. Sometimes they’re fast. Sometimes they keep you on hold forever.

When we got into town we were excited to find a restaurant that would deliver to our hotel. When we called to place our order we were put on hold for over 10 minutes. Finally had to hang up and call back to get service, but we could live with that. Finally got or order placed. They promised delivery in 25 minutes.They made the delivery within the 25 minutes, but didnt bring our drinks, a salad or any utensils to eat with. Delivery driver brought back our drinks, but still no salad or utensils. Another call to the restaurant. An hour later we can finally eat our salads, lasagna and our melted mud pie. The food was good, but it would have been better hot

Great local beers, nice ambiance despite corona. Good wings, great nachos. Definitely planning a return trip for the pizza. Half portions are large. Regular are generous. Staff was courteous and friendly, every other table closed as per state regulations, but definitely ready to get back to normal.

Our salad only had two small pieces of chicken on it not even a full piece of chicken, had to call back and have our extra dressings delivered.

Kind, fast service and delicious food.

Order a sandwich not heated. When my food was delivered the sandwich was heated and the french fries were cold. I asked for a receipt they did not bring me a receipt. Delivery driver had to go back and get me a receipt. Called and talked to them and they did not want to do anything about the sandwich being heated when I ordered a cold sandwich.

Still waiting for appetizers 40 min later.

Worst service and food I have ever had. Period! Need my money back.! If I could do a negative star I would!!!

We have eaten here before and it was always good. However, we ordered pizza to go last night and it was terrible. It was burnt and had very little toppings. We ordered what we usually get, a Cub and Yukon. The Cub had a terrible taste, a few toppings and burnt. The only thing not burnt were the diced tomatoes added to the top. I cant believe someone would send a pizza this way.We wont go back they have gone down hill.

Stopped here for an early dinner after exploring downtown. The food was okay and reasonably priced but portions were small. I had the old timer, a Ruben without the rye, it came with a bag of Lays potato chips. My wife tried the BBQ pork sandwich that she enjoyed it. The kids had spaghetti and a pepperoni pizza that was good and simple. We had the honey bread for dessert, more like a pizza with a little cinnamon and sugar and then covered with some honey.

I personally dont care for the taste of their pizzas. The restaurant is nice & rustic. It has a good vibe. Will come in again & try some other dishes soon.

I had the #15, aka, french dip. It was the BEST french dip I have EVER had!! My son had a bbq burger that he loved, and the cheese sticks (pizza cheese bread) was SO YUMMY~ we ordered a pizza to go!! For sure marking it on the Return for Food list!!

Try their alfredo everybody knows their pizza is good but the secrets in the Alfredo and lasagna!

Save your time and money, buyer beware. We made a mistake, and boy did we err... We ordered a pizza from Kodiac Jax. Let me tell you, this place sure lacks. Don’t ever say that I didn’t warn you— they surely will treat you like warm, sticky poo.And the pizza sucks.

Do not call in your order! Called in order and was told it would be ready in 30 mins. 30.mins later we arrived. I asked to pay for my order since it should be just about done if not done already. Well, all the girls were giving me the deer in tge headlights look going back and forth from kitchen and the computer screen. Finally one girl says it must be this other girls order. At this point I realize that my order never was put in, otherwise no matter whos order it was it would show up or the kitchen would wpuldbhave sppken up. So this girl asks me again what I ordered and continues to hem and haw around things, even taking a call right in front of me. I ask her is it in there? How much longer? Trying to get her to be honest with me. Finally she says she cant find and says she doesnt know what happen to it. Now an additional 20 minutes have passed and she aks me if i want to wait! Clearly not at this point! Go elsewhere for integrity and actual food!

Good for family dinners

Waitress was very nice and very attentive. Food was just ok. I dont understand why a person has to pay so much for an extra sauce. Sauce comes in small containers as it is. Caesar salad was watery so dressing was not present. Washed to bottom of plate.

Needs more parking but a big menu 🙂

Last pizza I had there was burnt. Now every time I go to the casino thats what I smell.

Went for the first time last week and was not impressed. Service was poor. Waitress did not bring silverware until they were asked for . She also did not refill waters. The food was not very good. Pizza lacked sauce, a wrap was very plain and not worth the money. Chips were stale. Won’t be returning.

Great pizza, sandwiches and salads plus a full bar. We particularly enjoy the pizza crust. Their rainbow salad is great. Prices are moderate but its worth spending a few extra dollars to support a local business. I recommend.

They have amazing food and an amazing environment. We got a large pepperoni and it ended up filling the two adults and one child with several slices left over. The price was reasonable for the amount of food we received, and the staff was amazing with the kid and toddler we had with us. It is conveniently located just off the main road through the town and has easy access to their shop.

Food is always great and the in house customer service fantastic. We especially like the red head delivery guy. He provides the best delivery service we have had from any restaurant in the area, hands down.

Normally their food and service is excellent; however, their new order system, lack of need employees, and high customer volume on a Saturday night has created a poor experience. Ive waited for close to an hour for a called in order and the staff explain to me that they were incredibly busy, had only one cook, and a new system they were not completely trained on using. So while I would maintain they still have excellent pizza and formally excellent service, their rating has gone down because of the above issues.

Been going to the first Kodiaks since I was young. Always has great food and environment. Im very pleased that the 2nd one carries on that reputation. Always good food, and nice people.

Nice place- big tables and lots of room. Great place to go for a beer and individual 🍕 for 15 bucks! And good for families a well!

Obviously dont order late from a motel. No silverware for a salad really?? No napkins for pizza. Asked for a anchovi pizza with a few jalapenos. Got a jalapeno pizza with a few anchovies (and I had to really look for them). Salad was sad. For a dinner for one costing me $30 ($5 for tip) I was to say the least very disappointed. NEVER ORDER LATE AT A MOTEL!!!😖

Actually really good...I gave up on my blackened chicken sandwich, chicken is always so dry nowadays, theres one less star...but tried the southwest burger this time and it was great. But waitress slacked on keeping the beers comin...hence another star less.

Lots of weird different stuff to try if you like unique combinations. Service has never been that great but I usually order delivery. They have some amazingly delicious deserts.
