Who doesnt love Big Lots?! I define nearly eveything I need when I go! Plus their furniture is actually quite nice and sturdy! The prices are very reasonable and believe it or not the furniture is actually darn good quality!!! Havent been disappointed yet and Ive grew up shopping at Big Lots.

I LOVED coming to this store. I decided to buy a recliner,the saleswoman was so easy going. She said it wasn’t in stock but I would get a call in the next few days being that a new shipment was coming and she would make sure she marked my recliner sold as soon as it got to the store.(I paid in full)Few days come,no phone call. I waited a few days and called. Lady stated that she had my recliner,that she told the guy to call me,but never did. I sent my son and brother in law up to the store to get it. She comes back and said the guy sold it. Offers me the floor model at a discounted price but refused to sell it to my son being that “she might want to come make sure nothing is wrong with it”. Then tells me they will call me the following Friday as my chair will be there.It’s Friday, no phone call,I was about to leave, but called. No recliner. This has been the BIGGEST headache. I’ll being going to get a full refund. I won’t be going back for furniture. Save your time and patience.

Had a great experience from the time we entered the store until the time we left. A very nice male employee went to the parking lot to get me a shopping cart when he noticed my hands full of merchandise. I never asked him to do this. Another nice young man noticed we were searching for something and he looked on the shelves in order to help. We ran into two female employees that inquired if there was anything they could help us with. The young female employee at the register was very friendly and also inquired if we found everything we were looking for. What an asset all of these fine employees are to your location. I will definitely shop here again!

So refreshing to have an enthusiastic conversation with a cashier. Now a days most stores, the person checking you out barely says 2 words. The lady who checked me out tonight was wonderful. She took the time to say my name. Tell me about they had to offer as far as drawings and coupons. This never happens now a days. The extra mile and courteous personality didnt go unnoticed.

The staff here is so friendly and helpful. We bought a bed and the guy in the back was super helpful from start to finish. The cashier was also amazing!!

This Big Lots is hit or miss for me. Sometimes they have really great finds, like furniture and decor for my home. Other times they are a disorganized mess.

We came in just to look at patio furniture and had the luck to run into Curt! He was amazingly helpful, knowledgable, and just all around a GREAT guy! I hope Curt sees this and realizes people do appreciate all the hard work he does! Thank you again!

Hadnt been in Big lots for a while headed very bad experience there when I bought my living room set but my granddaughter wanted to go in there and she found some good deals

I was disappointed with their prices, they are no longer a discount store. They have added a lot of food products, but reduced some of the numerous other items that one used to be find.

I guess depending on what youre looking for but I thought Big Lots was supposed to be a bit cheap

This place is a close out store with name brand Household essential at very economical price the worker are very well informed about products pleasant and friendly and helpful also are interested in making your shopping experience pleasant will shop here again

Mr. Kurt was amazing! So very helpful, checked the truck being unloaded for an item marked in store online, but wasnt. He did everything he could to help!

I like this store, just disappointed. One time I was there I was asked if I work in the health care field, which I do. They were giving discounts to healthcare workers. The cashier gladly gave me the discount after I explained my job. The next time I went and asked about that same discount, I was asked for an ID badge from my job. Sorry not all healthcare workers have badges... I told her this and she was curt and rude, told me well thats our policy. If it was such an issue why was I asked before and it was fine? She didnt even bother asking me what my job was, not all of us have badges! Otherwise I like the store, most employees are nice.

I love the Big Lots store in Hammond Louisiana, they sell some really nice furniture for less money then furniture stores, its the perfect place to go if you need to buy household goods such as towels, drapes bedding..... you can also find some nice decorative pieces and they always have a big assortment of holiday merchandise

Big lots..another fine store to shop ..i just thought about it. Big lots buy property thats Big like its name .because its always wide travel space up & down..inside .not bumping into nothing. Knocking things all off the shelves..its a nice feelingwhy..because sometimes I glance at a product .as Im passing by it...think about it a few seconds later..but in other stores I cant back up or turnaround my shopping buggy to get a better closer re read the label touch the product ..but no my turn is usually convenient enough to do that ( turn around- back up. Which really suck in other stores..but in Big Lots...feel free to travel..brouse..re brouse turn around and do it again .better because when you can go back and see the product ..now youve bought that one more thing that makes you and the store owner / manager very happy .i love Big Lots..

Store is really dirty

Im a delivery driver and not a customer but Eric was extremely helpful unloading and very friendly. Although the dock is a bit unorthodox for a 53 trailer with swing doors, its not terribly hard to get in and out.

One of my best visit for 2020 was at this Hammond, Louisiana BIG LOTS! Kellsha, Lakisha, Danielle, Ciara - these Ladies are GO-GETTERS. I finally got my son a bedroom from this place. Tried other places like Room to Go, Furniture Mart, they wanted TOO MUCH. I got Quality under a thousand. Friendly, Professional, and definitely People Skilled ladies. Thank you for starting my New Year Off!!! Manager Eric, you better keep these ladies. Awesome Day in Hammond.

Some aisles where too small to even get a shopping cart down. Also many items left out on the floor. Other than that, friendly staff and great bargins.

They sell from big lots of merchandise that is excess to the regular retail stores. Therefore you can never be sure what they offer. If you buy something today, it may never be available again. Prices are good and returns are easy.

A mixture of disorganization, underpaid and unhappy employees, and a generally dismal presentation from the aging linoleum to the cramped aisles. In short, its Big Lots. Not the happiest place on Earth, but the prices and products are half decent.

The parking lot is definitely ample

I went looking for Christmas tree decorations at the Hammond Big Lots. After spending some time there, I decided to purchase some items but check out Walmart in Ponchatoula before making a final decision on others. I am so glad that I did because the price for all of the items were cheaper at Walmart, even with Big Lots 15% off promotion. I honestly thought Big Lots was cheaper but learned a valuable lesson - check Walmart and Dollar General before purchasing certain items.

The store is utter chaos and dirty I saw roaches on the floor by the food section. Dont water your time shopping there..and they only ever have but 1 cashier no matter how many people are waiting to check out

This is a variety store with everything from furniture to groceries. I found their prices were much lower than other similar stores. The parking lot was big and had plenty of handicapped spaces.
