I was in search of baskets 🧺 or containers for my entertainment center, my kitchen snacks and my drink mixes... found them all in one stop. Much easier than searching through Walmart!

Always friendly staff. I live across the road so I’m in this store a lot. They have their stuff a lot more organized than most DGs

This store is under new management and starting to look like a store i can enjoy shopping in again.

Every time I have been in there the shelves are empty constantly needs to be restocked. Never had a problem with the staff and lines always moved fast.

I love this place so much, purchasing stocks are not a bad idea.

I bought a door mat there the other day. I forgot it at the store. I called and they didnt say or know much about it. I forgot about it, until I ran across the receipt. Sure enough the mat was on the receipt. I called D.G.and the attendant Geogiana, answered and said, yes I had paid for the doormat and that she was the one that checked me out! She had my doormat up front. I went in and got it! I had wished that I had had some money or something to show my appreciation. So if your out at the Dollar General on Airport Road, if you can, please tip her to help me say thanks. Know that you are in good hands at this Dollar General!

Hammond Stores are Shabby mess No Stock cannot find carts and when you do... cannot maneuver down the aisles. awful Stay away!

Even if you dont like to shop, you will love going to the Dollar General Store. I promise, it will be worth your while. You will keep wanting to go back again and again.

This Dollar General is Terrible.Looks like a tornado has gone through it a few times. Just UNBELIEVABLE

It was horrible. You couldnt get anything because of the boxes where everywhere in the store. Some of the boxes where turned over and the stuff all over the floor. They didnt have hardly anything on the shelves. I will never go back to that dollar store again.

I go to this dollar general b/c its closer by my work. People if you dont work in retail here is a eye opener. The store is under staff u cant blame the staff they do their best its the corporation thats at fault, plus this store gets between 2 to 3 trucks a day. The staff is really nice and knows where things are.

Found everything I was looking for in under 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly. Prices were great.

Generally this store has more on the shelves then the other Dollar General in Ponchatoula. I also appretiate that the employees being so helpful and welcoming genuinely.

Store is always cluttered and theyre out of a lot of items. Employees arent much help.

They charged my credit card 182.00 extra. Thank God, I caught it. So, watch out. The store is way out of sorts. Nothing is where its supposed to be. Im not going back, Id rather travel a extra few miles and go to Wal-Mart. Terrible service.

Granted I only went in there for a Fanta but they greeted me and were very polite.

I shop here 5 to 6 days out the week. Never been disappointed.

I had excellent service on this particular trip... the cash helped me out with the hair products.. she was able to tell me about the different brands and what each one was good for and what types of hair... stuff that even the people of multiple hair stores couldnt help me with

Music was being played extremely loud on this particular Saturday morning. The employees actually yelled over music instead of lowering volume. Employees were polite...just found it odd that music was being played so loud.

The cashier was really helpful ! Im handicap, and the cashier got the merchandise that I needed for me.

They have finally got the store back in shape and frindly people!!!

Its the same Dollar General as everywhere. This one is well organized.
