Since the Aldis by my house is being remodeled, we had to go to the Aldis on Calumet Ave..It was huge,clean,workers were polite, and the only complaint I have, is the prices on some items are more then other stores.I normally shop at Petes, Strack & Van Til and Walgreens. And Ive noticed that some of the prices are higher at Aldis. Aldis prices are supposed to be lower-priced on everything,then other stores ..Well theyre starting to get high on certain items,mainly the vegetables, fruit,& nuts..Other than that,I recommend going to Aldis great store.👍

I only do this bcuz as a regular shopper in here I notice changes, like price increases, rude employees, and corporate companies thats all about the how much money you make off us consumers. I got hurt in there filled out a report and even called the 800 number later just to ask why no one bothered to follow up.Never got a call back to this day so typical and ashame.

Very clean, constant stock rotation so produce is always fresh. Now they carry a large line of organic foods and specialty items i.e. lox and prosciutto. The staff is always busy but never too busy to help you locate an item, a very friendly helpful staff. I love this Aldi.

Smaller comfortable dash-in size store with a mix of low to high health conscious product offering. Staff is always a pleasure. Watch those outdoor rusted carts!

Besides affordable food and a couple of quality staff members, this Aldi is just alright compared to the one on Columbia. Management at this store is sub-par and unprofessional. Also, the mixed girl cashier who works there consistently has an attitude.

Lacking many products.

Much bigger and better organized than before. Better selections of fruits and vegetables. No strange mess inside. No boxes cluttering the aisles. The price of meat and dairy products has gone up.

I needed assistance getting some Gatorade. The ones I needed were at the very bottom with many other 8 packs on top. I asked a worker for assistance and she told me I had to move everything around myself to get what I needed because they were not always available to help

It was super packed and I had to wait in line for like 25 minutes before someone was even available to come over to the register I was at.they are seriously understaffed for how much traffic they have in there

Some items good and fairly priced, bacon for instance, others not so much. Seems whenever I go there are always lines to check out. I have figured out which cashiers to go to that do not throw your items into the cart when you check out and I only go to them. They sometime have a transient or two in the parking lot trying to collect the quarters used for the shopping carts. Pretty good store though for the most part.

Produce was looking great, Ailes were clean and labeled well. Everything was within reach and you had many options. The only problems I could see were that staff were few but they were busy bees ☺ and the womens room need hand soap. Other than that it was a great store. Keep your eyes open for deals else where though. Aldis is an awesome store for great products, produce, meat (oh the meat!) and other items but check out other store flyers for the best deal. 😊🙂♥️ Everyone has a good deal of you take the time to look and hey if youre near that store, check it out! 😁🤗🙂

Great location very convenient. Workers are so helpful. We go religiously every other week if able. The cashiers now recognize us and know what we actually like as special items not available all year. Sure wish they would change that and make them available all the time though. Most of these items are our favorites.And if we don’t see item we need they are always very helpful to look and see if they have more in stock. Thx Hammond Aldi!!!

My favorite Aldi to visit, since it has easy access and plenty of parking. Besides the food, which is always well-stocked, I really enjoy their fresh veggies. Ive even purchased some of their non-food items like childrens toys and kitchen utensils with no complaints about quality.

It was cool. I actually grabbed the wrong card before i left my house and i only had a balance of about $4.00 on my bank card i explained that I only lived 5 minutes away so they held my stuff and i was back there in a matter of minutes with the correct card and got in and out instead of reshopping. Most stores would have put the stuff back or have you do it and i know this may not happen everyday in their store but i bet theres some people that would just not go back.

The food here is fresh and delicious. The prices are so low its hard to believe. The lines are quick. The meat is the best. The Aldis by my house was closed for remodeling so we had to shop at other stores for meat and after cooking the other meat I realized how perfect the Aldi meat was.

In my first time of shopping, I was impressed with the employees positive responses along with the up most politeness in the highest regards!! I would Recommend others to shop there 😎👍

Wonderful selection of items. I got meat, dairy, pizza and housewares all for great prices. Only complaint would be that they dont carry and sugar free ice cream products. Was a bit disappointed by that but, otherwise, great experience.

Bigger,Better,Cleaner!. Certain items are very costly (Especially Produce).They still only have 2 Registers open per day. Saturdays are always crowed,and Parents dont control their Children. Would be nice if it was open until Midnight.

A friend who taking me to all these now that Im visually impaired the store is okay it was better when I had better Vision because you dont have a PA being a personal attendant to help you around the store if you go by yourself so you would need someone if you have some disabilities like fishing but other than that everything at all this was just great. All you know the stuff is cheaper at a low price which is very convenient when youre on a budget

This place is extremely clean! The employees were tremendously friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable.

Aldi is great! Particularly if you plan and are willing to wait until your item is on special, you can save a ton of money.Their special purchases are incredible, and they have great food. The only issue is if you grow to love an item, and they stop carrying it.

I like Aldi because they have cereal, produce, dairy and side dishes all at a great price. They have fresh meat but I love buying frozen because Im gonna freeze it once Im home anyway. Buying frozen saves money. I even buy baby products here. The customer service level is great too. Cant get absolutely everything youd need like a deli counter, but shopping here first limits my need to shop elsewhere.
