Ive been out this way a few times and stopped in this location, and its clean and well stocked, with a great selection. Right off the interstate, so easy to get in and out. Really good seafood selection, meals to go, and excellent sales (all Rouses). I havent checked out the bakery at this location, but Rouses is known to make delicious cakes and patisserie.

Favorite grocery store in town. Especially like the prepared food in the back by the deli.

Always clean neat and so organized. The best red velvet cakes I have ever tasted. Locally owned a plus!!

Stopped in to pickup food sense u was in Hammond. Store was nice and a gentleman told me about ice and was ok with that. However. No coke zero and when I checked out the cashier left my grocery there and walked out to smoke. Didnt put my groceries in my cart.

Rouses Market is a Louisiana grocery store with a better selection of items than most grocery stores.The stores are clean and easy to shop. The Rouses brand is very good and usually cost less than the name brands.

These guys are quick and so respectful. I don’t see how you guys will ever get a bad review. The seafood and steaks are so greedy. I’ll be here more often when I am in town and I will tell everyone I know about you guys. I highly recommend as well as appreciate you guys.

Nice grocery store. Clean store. Friendly staff members. Has deli,hit food and limited floral items available. Non perishables Food items as well as household goods also available. Good for a quick stop. Lines were not long

Narcissist working at the door telling customers in the parking lot as they come to the door that the store is closed with a big smile then says Im just kidding while laughing, nobody was thinking this is funny or a time for this sick joke, she said someone is going to slap me for that but as were leaving the store later we noticed she was still saying this to people as they walked to the door. This sick narcissist has no business greeting customers at the door getting kicks from the few moments of making someones day worse as she campaigns for that SLAP!

Now I truly enjoyed this store they always have good sales and customer service is wonderful if u dont believe take a trip to Mandeville and find out yourself

Staff are always helpful. I was able to find items that are harder to find at other stores and some healthier options.

Nicely stocked store. Bakery could be bigger but still nice. Only reason it is not a 5 is the location. There are some homeless looking individuals that hang out around that shopping center. Specifically the dollar tree has strange characters that stand and sit right outside their door. Be watchful.

I liked the selection of goods at this grocery store. My only issue was with the quality of some salad I bought. But they were willing to let me return it so I wasnt out of anything other than an extra trip to the store. But that was still irritating.

Very clean store, my only complaint is that the meat I purchased there started to turn colors and smell funny after the second day in the refrigerator. Had disposed of it, but hated the fact that price has increased so much! Not happy about wasting so much$$ on meat I wouldnt attempt to prepare.

They carry local and unique items like Justin Wilson Southern Products.

We both are elderly and disabled----My husband did not know and paid $5 per lb----for ground meat-----We made burgers and I have never had ground meat at any full of gristle and parts of bones----------Will never go to this location again

Best grocery store in Louisiana. The meat and vegetable section is second to none!

Ground beef $2.99 today but when I get there its a narrow empty hole with the advertising sign . So the same beef for $3.99 on the shelf right above it.

I bought some chicken and it was spoiled, I will never go back there and the staff is very unprofessional

Unlike other larger grocery store chains in my area, I notice more lately that Rouses makes it a point to welcome me when I enter and bid farewell when I leave. I rarely have to wait in line long and almost all cashiers have been helpful. One complaint I have with one cashier (who was nice enough) was the inability and further lack of interest when I asked a question about Rouses digital coupons. I asked how I could access these coupons as I hadnt seen or heard of a Rouses phone app. She replied that she didnt know...and carried on. I was the only person in line and it wouldve been nice for her to make the effort to find out. After she called a floor supervisor over to make an adjustment on her register, I asked the supervisor and was given the correct information. The small efforts of individuals make paying sometimes a slight % higher price worth it to me.Things Id like to see at Rouses include more variety of international items. I see plenty Italian options which is very nice but more Latin selections from GOYA Foods would make Rouses my preferred shopping location. Last night I had to visit two supermarkets to find what I need and I much prefer to make one stop during these times of avoiding public spaces.I have noticed and appreciate that Rouses Market in my area has kept well stocked the adult beverages that I prefer and can always depend on not being sold out unlike the other corporate store that I visited last night.Finally, my opinion of Rouses Market is improving during the current virus climate. Other competing, larger chain stores on the other hand have impressed me less. Thanks for stepping up, Rouses.

This Rouses is better quality than the Rouses in Ponchatoula, however the Rouses in Ponchatoula is better quantity. Also, some b o m b shushi, like honestly some of the best Ive ever had.

Staff was super friendly!!! Love the sushi bar. My favorite thing about this store is the little kid shopping carts!!! My 2 little girls (6 & 4yrs) really think they are helping me with groceries. And they are- by focusing on who gets what item in their cart and not fussing about me not buying EVERY cupcake, a bouncy ball, the summer beach toys, or candy at the register because by then, they are so busy handing “their” groceries to the cashier!! As insignificant as it seems, thanks for giving me peace (and laughter) during my grocery shopping adventure.

Ive been a fan of Rouses Market for many years. Was always a favorite stop for camp supplies when we had a camp in Dulac. We were never disappointed in the merchandise or the friendly service. Those days we shopped in Thibodeaux and now having them in Hammond is even better.

Used to be better not sure whats going on with the store. Stopped carrying many items. Hot food quality is down.Most recent cant use old fashion debit cards that u swipe now as debit . Only charge unless you have new chip.

Very helpful staff. Rouses has great weekly deals and overlapping sale days Wednesday.Great place to buy meat, their fish counter has a decent selection, and have been very good. They do a great job at rotating and cleaning these items.Im not thrilled with the produce section. I routinely find rotten fruit or have had issues with mold inside peppers.Overall its a clean well sticker grocery store with competitive pricing and local products.

Open while it’s remodeling so there are a bunch of empty shelves and dead space. The seafood department and bakery are currently closed which was a letdown. I should have gone to the one in Ponchatoula because I love their fresh fish. This store seems to be older so the remodel was probably needed and it’ll be great once it’s complete. I’ll stop by in a few months because it’s like a big gas station with very few fresh items.
