Michael came out today to do a pre-install visit for my new garage doors going in next month. He was very friendly and efficient. I’m planning to replace all the trim around my garage doors prior to the new install next month. Michael advised the correct size trim to buy (different than the 40 year old stuff being replaced), so that was very helpful. Can’t wait to see our new doors!

The service from the beginning was wonderful. They got back to me with date and time of the visit and turned up when they said they would. Eric and David were friendly, knowledgeable and so very helpful with our main barn doors. They also revised and checked out and fixed our garage fires. Explanations were give. At all times and the focus on safety was clear. Alternatives to improve our safety were given along with price without obligation. Loved the team. Fast and efficient! Will definitely use them again!

I recently had two garage doors and an electric opener installed by Aaron from the West Bath facility. Aaron was incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. His attention to detail was amazing and he made sure everything was adjusted perfectly before he left, even installing an interior handle and lock on one of the doors. From start to finish, this was a very enjoyable experience and we are extremely happy with the doors as well as the work.

Instead of replacing very old and heavy (late 70s) garage doors, PDQ said new hardware and new motors were another option, saving quite a bit. So thats what I did and they should be good for a long time now. Really nice people - easy to work with!

In October 2020 I called to get an estimate. A salesman was there two days later! I was very very impressed by that. I also had some other quotes from local companies and PDQ prices were very competitive, even less expensive so we decided to utilize PDQ. We were told the wait time would be 6 to 8 weeks. That seemed fair. However, work was not completed until the first week of February 2021. I had attempted to reach out by email three times and spoke with somebody twice on the phone and was told over the phone that our work would be done the following week and that was over the course of a month. I never did hear back on the email inquiries. My husband reached out to the owner and that’s when the work finally got done. Like I said, the prices were fair, staff was friendly from the salesman to the installer. But communication between the company and customers could improve. Short staffing is the culprit here. I get that. But I would’ve felt better had the communication been better.

So far, between someone coming out to do the estimate and dealing with their office personnel (Jessica specifically), it has been a great experience...and we dont expect the actual and eventual installation to be any different. Cant wait for our new garage doors!

Well done just moved into the house and one of the torsion springs snapped. A tech was dispatched to clamp the spring together so the door was usable and measured for the replacement springs. Came back quickly and got me fixed. Would highly recommend their services

The PDQ folks who stopped by that evening were knowledgable, polite, fast, and fixed our immediate issue on the spot. They then gave us all the info we needed for a more permanent repair in the future. PDQ has done 3 doors for me to date with another scheduled in the coming days. They do great work. Ive never had any problems with the doors they installed. Very easy to work with and very knowledgeable techs doing the installs. They came in removed my old doors, addressed some minor framing/support issues, installed the new doors, tracks, supports and motors, replaced all the weather stripping, hauled all my old doors, track, framing, motors, and debris away with them. I didnt have to do anything! They took the time to explain and demonstrate how the new motors and controls worked and the options that they provided in an easy to understand way. I did most of my ordering business over the phone. I used the Houlton business. I got every bit and more of the help I needed to order the doors. The guy that did the installation was very polite. Introduced himself and shook my hand when he got here. So, that all was so valuable and the look and quality of the doors were actually better than I expected.

Waterville supplied 3 insulated doors at $1000 less than their local major competitor. I dont write reviews as I feel inundated with them on a regular basis. I contacted the company for a service call on my overhead Clopay garbage doors. They responded quickly and sent a young man who was very knowledgeable and he diagnosed and resolved the problem immediately. He also lubricated and adjusted the doors so that they now function very quietly and smoothly. I recommend PDQ highly for any garage door issues.
