My mom and I took the ornament class, in the past we did the pisanki class - both times were fun! In addition the staff knows A LOT about Polish culture. Highly recommend this place on your next trip to Hamtramck.

First time going the other day and not only is it full of authentic Polish merchandise the staff is a wealth of knowledge on everything they carry. I learned a lot and they were happy to answer all my questions and were extremely helpful in general. Everyone should at the very least stop in to experience this place yourself.

We visited the Polish Art Center last weekend and were absolutely delighted with our experience! I went looking for Polish stoneware and was amazed by the variety of Polish handmade artisanry. The owners daughter was incredibly informative. I didnt expect our visit to be so educational, and I truly appreciated the time and attention we received. We dont live in Michigan, but Ive already decided well be making a trip back to visit the Polish Art Center again!

Huge range of collectibles, crafts beautifully organized. But, I felt they are expensive!

When I walked in I fell in love with the beautiful decorations hanging from the ceiling and wanted to recreate that for my grandson in his room at our house. This was the result!I love the Polish Art Center and the people who work there, I did a lot of Christmas shopping there for very special gifts, everyone loved those gifts. I am so thankful for finding this hidden away little jewel in Hamtramck and thankful to my friend who introduced me to it. She got one of those special gifts from The Polish Art Center!Try the Chocolates, they are delightful ( so I am told ) I am partial to the gingerbread covered with dark chocolate!

The Polish Art Center is located in the heart of Hamtramck. You will find everything from books and music to stoneware, classic cut crystal, folk art, fine foods, luxurious chocolates and much more. The staff is friendly and very helpful. If you need Polish folk material, they even have bolts of material for your sewing needs. The ladies were helpful when I went there to get material for my wedding dress.Will definitely go back.

There is so much to see, I’m hoping to get back there again. Art, jewelry and polish candy...I’m not sure if she is the owner, or the manager, but she was so helpful. I fell in love with these artistic postcards, and she took time to tell me about at least 10 of them. I really enjoy going somewhere and learning a bit about the place and she really contributed to that experience.

The Art Center is a fantastic place for Polish folk art, books and specialty items. It is visually beautiful. The people who run it are super nice. I wish there were more places like this in the States promoting the beauty of Polish folk arts. The center has not moved despite pressure caused by changes to Hamtramck and that is great. Many more years to the Center

Excellent customer service!! I was looking for Christmas ornaments to give to my siblings to celebrate our Polish heritage. I live in Texas, so I was not able to go into the store to see them. Joan worked with me during several phone calls to find the perfect one. Raymond and Joan were both wonderful to deal with.

The Polish Art Center is a wonderful shop located n Hamtramck. The shop has a large variety of hand made Polish art including stoneware, amber jewelry, music, candy, wood, and Christmas ornaments. It is a great place to find a gift for that hard to buy for person. The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful. If you have never been I highly recommend it.

Very full shop full of great items for those particularly with a love of their Polish heritage. Decorative items, housewares, jewelry, holiday items, flags, t-shirts - there is a very large range of gift ideas. Helpful staff assisted me in buying holiday cards although it was still summer. Definitely worth a visit. Leave time to browse.

The store is absolutely wonderful. I have used their website many times and not only to they sell incredible products for unbelievably low prices, but they get the products to you very quickly. Great place to shop for memorable gifts too!!

My girlfriend is very interested in my Polish culture so she always gets excited when I get her something from here. Lots of amber jewelry from the Baltic sea and sheep leather goods from Zakopane. Highly recommend for cute Polish trinkets.

Cute polish souvenir shop. This shop offers a variety of classes for $20 where you can learn egg painting techniques and traditional polish paper cutting. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I cannot think of a better way to spend two unplugged hours on a weekend during Lent. Signed myself and daughter up for a Pisanki workshop with the incomparable Michelle. So. Much. Fun. Of course, the space itself is a wonderland, so if mastering a Kistka isnt your thing you can always shop the beautiful import shelves. A true jewel in Hamtramck. Not to be missed!

MORE than a taste of Poland right here--exceptionally friendly & helpful staff & a huge selection of the prized Polish pottery, plus amber jewelry, books, cards, pysanky, soap shaped like pierogi, scarves, . . . I have bought supplies for making pysanky with my students for many years--they also have crafts classes before Easter & before Christmas--much fun!

Ive gone to Poland four times, seen souvenir shops there, and seen lots of Polish attractions. The Polish Art Center in Hamtramck is a massive shop, and beats out any other Polish themed store Ive ever seen. The owner is very kind, has a deep love for his culture, and is an expert in curating really wonderful pieces of art, books and more.This is one of the only places I know of that sells fruit and veggie seeds from Poland, and their stoneware collection is second to none. They conduct art classes here too which I cannot speak to but Ive heard great things about their traditional egg painting workshops.If youre in Hamtramck, youd be doing yourself a disservice to pass this place up. Have fun and na zdrowia!
