Great resource for often neglected maintenance and repairs. Had tires and an axle replaced on another trailer. Cost was very fair. No way its worth doing it yourself!This time preparing for a 1500 mile round trip with another trailer. 16 year old tires with full tread, but dont trust them! Dry rotted trailer tires fail. Also found a noisy bearing, so we replaced both hubs.Most likely something would have failed on my trip. Less than two hours and $500 for all new moving parts, and my trailer is good as new for a cross country trip. Much better than burning up a whole Saturday to save less than $100!

Have been to Iron Knight Trailers several times and wouldnt consider going any place else. Sonny knows trailers ... period. On my last trip, they made some adjustments to my boat trailer while doing some other repairs. Its like pulling a whole different boat now ... night and day difference. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

The owner was really friendly over the phone so I asked my dad to run over to pick up 2 sets of brake pads (which run about $50 shipped online). I look at the receipt: $148! That included a 5% fee tacked on for using a credit card. I try to buy local when its not too much more, but we are talking TRIPLE.2 hours later I called to make sure they had a return policy. When we get to the store, we are told that the refund would be by check because if they refund to the card, they would be charged an additional 5%. They also refused to refund the tax. NOT REFUND THE TAX, ARE YOU KIDDING? The owner explained that when you use a charge card, the tax goes directly to the state and cant be refunded.Can a business owner really be that uninformed?I have negotiated credit card agreements, they havent been 5% in years.
