The big five in Coalinga is awesome. The people that work there are willing to help. Especially this one girl who works there small antique,with glasses help me with my hair pump. She went above and beyond to show me how it worked. I thought it was great customer service skills. Great job team. You make big five look good.

I went into hanford big 5 today and the cashier/sales associate jamiun was very rude asked if I had coupons and I replied yes was getting my coupon and told me u can purchase the shoes now when I explained i was looking for the coupon he exhaled like it bothered him I payed the shoes and as soon as transaction went thru he walked away this isnt the first time I had problems with this man they just lost a customer forsure. If he cant handle retail maybe he should look for another job.

The store is in handford mall so the mall itself needs life all of the store shelves are not fully stocked and it seems like it wont be open too much longer

Worst customer service ever. Disrespectful and not customer focused at all. No wonder they lose so much market share to competitors who put customers first. Will never buy anything there again. (Happened at multiple locations but most recently was Kings Canyon in Fresno).

The associate that helped me was named sarah and she was amazing! She was informational and willing to help me through all of my questions. My visit was extremely pleasurable because of Sarah and her fantastic service. She was genuine and just so sweet. Great guest service. She receives a 5/5 from me. The only reason in giving 4/5 is because big 5 is a bit on the expensive side. Thats the company though.

I had visited the store first thing in the morning. The gentleman seemed to be working alone and trying to manage all the requests by himself. He was very polite and always made sure everyone who walked in was greeted. I will be back, because of his great customer service.

They always have good deals on shoes. And stuff for cold weather not to mention sporting good stuff. They used to have a lot of disc golf stuff, but their selection is now weak.

Customer service us always great, I get the 1-Day and 2-Day deals daily through my email for amazing savings!!! I love that theyre always aware of the sales and coupons going on, they apply them even when you have no clue theres deals going on, so you always save money.

Seems like another store about to belly up. Not much product here. When looking for average shoe size after finding the discontinued style you like they dont have your size. Store seems real dim and dirty. Like a small version of k mart.

Travis was very helpful. And the young man in the shoe department was extremely patient and helpful. The cashier was also very polite and professional. I shall return.

Ive been a customer of big 5 Hanford store for many years. Always a pleasure to shop here. Competitive prices. Ive purchase a total of 6 firearms here over the years and Paul the store manager has always find a way to help me. Would not hesitate to recommend or to go back. 😃

The customer service needs some improvement in the guns section. Guy had a poor attitude with my wife until I arrived at the counter was very dismissive of her when she was asking about ammo and shotguns. My recommendation is treat every person who walks to that counter with the same respect as you would give your mother. If you need to buy a firearm go to Kings Gun Center if you want to be treated like an inconvenience go to Big 5.

Got a bunch of stuff for our summer kick backs

Both workers hovered around me in the store the entire time like I was going to steal, I had about 5 packs of socks in my arms and they never once asked if I would like them to hold my stuff up front or offered a bag or cart just kept circling around me.
