First time here. Good experience. Was quite impressed by the size of the operation and employee helpfulness. Showroom and bathrooms were very clean. Came away with a set of quality tires at a reasonable price. Just wish they were a little closer, but worth the drive.

My familys go-to place for tires. They are experts in their field, very accommodating of restricted schedules, and always have what I need in stock. Perhaps most important of all, they are staffed with wonderful people who are a joy to do business with. They make the usually unpleasant chore of having to buy new tires a very nice experience.

As far as pleasant and friendly service, excellent. However, its advertised as free rotations when you purchase tires there. I know why its free, because they arent rotated. I put a black ink mark on my front wheel. When I was told its all done. I got in, drove home, checked my wheels, the front still have the black ink mark. They shouldve been in the back..so obviously they werent rotated. Ill eventually take it back for a rotation, Ill be sure to not trust it and not leave until I look to see if my markings on my wheels are still where they were when I took it. Extremely frustrating.Youre not seeing Charlie in your system because my google account is private, most folks are. In addition a friend of mine incidentally came to pick up her vehicle that was a mere inspection and she was told That will be $1,250 because we put new tires on your vehicle Her comment was nobody called and asked me if they could put new tires on my vehicle not to mention the same tires were on the car that she brought it with. No new tires were put on the car! I witnessed that event myself. If Mar Bar put new tires on the vehicle as they claimed, they were horribly filthy and worn. TERRIBLE SERVICE. Not trustworthy but yet theres Bible scripture thru out the facility?? Ill take my business else where. Bob Ruth in Dillsburg is excellent.

I never put in reviews on anything but I feel these guys deserve 5 stars. Called and left a message at 5:50 am in the morning on the 31st before New Years. Driver was only 20 minutes away from their shop. Roy had amazing customer service and was not in any shape or form angered by being woken up so early. Driver was back on the road by 7:30 AM and made his Costco appointment + 2 more LTL stops and was able to make it back home in time for the holiday. Thank you Roy.

Customer service for new tire selections and scheduling alignment with Roy was very prompt and helpful. However, when picking up my vehicle on June 25th, I was mistakenly charged $200 for unsightly new TPMS with gold bands, which I clearly had declined and offered a $100 refund on a vehicle with less than 35k miles and tires were all over-inflated to 38 PSI. Then, I noticed several mystery yellow splash marks, after Volvo was delivered to Mar-Bar as spotless as just being washed and waxed by customer. Unfortunately, I just paid my local body shop on July 2nd $90 to remove these yellow marks that were etched into the clear coat and took wet sanding and buffing to removed 4-5 small spots, which the body shop confirmed something foreign was splashed on the hood. When contacting Mar-Bar about this issue on July 1st, I was advised that nothing in the garage could have possibly splashed on freshly cleaned car and they are not responsible for any damages when parked overnight on their premises. I am disputing $100 for the remaining tire sensor charge and $90 to address the yellow contaminents that almost resulted in a $1200 insurance claim to repaint the hood and bumper.

Had my motorhome s front end alignment done here today and they did an excellent job. My appointment was at 9 am and they took back within 15 minutes. The motorhome has never handled as good as it does now after theyre professional work. Roy and Joe at the service desk totally explained what needed to be done for me,they are very knowledgeable at theyre job.I would recommend this facility to anyone who is in need of any kind of automobile work. The prices are affordable and the quality of work is second to none.The peanut brittle they sell is also the best !!!

Needed a new turf tire for my zero turn mower. Called at 3:45pm, loaded and left home at 4pm.; arrived at 4:15pm, old tire off, tested for leaks, new tire mounted, paid Earl at the cashier counter and bought a bag of peanut brittle and was leaving for home at 4:45pm. Outstanding professional service!

I will not go any where else but Mar Bar for big truck and tractor tires. Their pricing for the 445/65r-22.5 tires I need was $200 less per tire than anyone else and they included the mounting and balancing for that price. The set of 8 tires was under $8000.00 with tax. No one else even came close to that price. Roy and the boys will get you taken care of.

I am a farmer/trucking owner operator. Mar Bar has always been good to me. Whether it was prices or service they always helped me the best way they could. When I needed them on the side of the road or at the farm. They make ever effort to see that the job gets done in a timely matter. They tell you the truth and are honest. I have never had a bad experience there. Great place for heavy trucks, farm tractors, or just your pickup truck. The waiting area is always clean and orderly, and has cookies, peanut brittle and local honey for purchase (hey its a plus). The staff and Mr. Roy are always pleasant. Great customer service and very fair prices. They came out to the campground our trailer was at and put new tires on it, all for under $600. I showed up here not knowing anything about tires. I was informed, given options, and recommendations for what tires would be best for the weather here in Pennsylvania, not only that they informed me that the lug nuts on my tires were not as good as they could be. Had tires put on Friday Saturday afternoon noticed that one tire was over inflated. Called Andy Monday morning Andy said I am sorry for that. He said where is the vehicle at. Andy went above and beyond he sent someone over to my house to adjust and make sure all the tires were correct. Andy then called and told me all is corrected. Service like that will keep customers coming back. I recommend asking for Andy he did a great job for me.

Best tire service center, hands down! Extremely helpful staff, the lobby is very clean, and the restrooms are fit for open-heart surgery. These are the professionals, the true experts. If you want the job done right, you might find another place, but if you want the best possible job your money can buy, this is it! Plus, they have the BEST homemade baked-goods for sale while you wait. Even if you dont need your tires serviced, at least stop by for their baked goods. Very professional business, the way it should be.

Excellent, friendly, kind, considerate congenial people. Very well trained and knowledgeable of their products and services. Clean establishment and they have plenty of seating and refreshments there for people while theyre waiting. The bathroom was very nice, clean and comfortable everything was explained good and the prices were good.

This place possibly saved our lives! I just did a long review on their website, so this one will be short! They got me rims, tires, and alignment all within a weeks time when another place was a month and never got my rims and tires for me! Never even got back to me, even when knowing that my tires were in very bad shape and the car was literally undriveable! And also wouldnt pass the inspection that was due for it! MarBar saved me and my husband so I will be a lifetime customer! Their customer service is incredible!

We have a Ram 2500 and had difficulty finding a garage that could do an alignment. One of the Hanover car dealers recommended Mar Bar. I thought the price for an alignment on such a big truck was very reasonable. The staff were very friendly, the facility was clean and comfortable. The alignment took an hour and I was very pleased with that as well. Oh, and when you call, you get to talk to a real person right away! I will definitely be taking oir vehicles there as needed!

Fantastic customer service. I got a flat tire and had to get a new one quickly. I went in early in the morning after discovering the flat and the gentleman gave my 18 month old breakfast and juice. Everyone was so polite and exceptionally friendly. I will never go anywhere else!

The service was excellent there. They actually did the following work, researched the price on the three belts that was needed, installed the three belts and only charged me just under $200! Joe the service representative was fantastic even though he was extremely tired he got the job done and I thank him for it.

Had 5 camper Endurance Goodyear tires put on. Outstanding service, knowledgable, courteous, and efficient. Extremely clean facility.

Took 2 hours to install tires on my Honda Civic, I asked what took so long and no one gave me an explanation. Took another 1/2 hour for alignment. I asked again why it took so long and they told me they tell people to expect around 2 hours for installation AND alignment....it took 2 hours just for the installation! I believe that since I was a new customer, they took care of all walk ins before finishing my car (I DID have an appointment) since every person that came in they called by name and were in and out. Shame on them, because I was looking for a good place to get mechanical work done as well.

I recently blew a tire about half a mile from Mar-Bar Tire Service around 5:45 p.m. They were closed when I showed up but the people working in the back took me in anyway. They brought a service vehicle out to my van and changed the tire on the spot. Fantastic service, friendly people, I would strongly recommend them to anyone in the area!

I had a tire blow out while on a long trip from South Carolina to New York. I broke down 5 miles from Mar-Bar Tire Services. I was able to explain my problem on the phone and immediately have the necessary tires and parts ordered from their distributor. Additionally, I did not have the lug key for said tires which was no problem for them at all. I received my car back when they said it would be done. Their prices are less expensive than commercial business and I feel, the customer service and actual maintenance was much better. Additionally, their knowledge was top notch. Lastly, their facility is quite impressive for being in the middle of nowhere. Special thanks to Roy and his staff for a job well done.

On January 12, 2016, I got 4 new Continental Purecontact tires on my Honda Civic at Mar-Bar Tire Service, Hanover, PA. All service was prompt, efficient, and cost-effective. Tire mounting and balancing took 1 hour; a free alignment check took 30 minutes including a clear, well-explained report on alignment results and corrective action options; the 4-wheel alignment took another 30 minutes. Prices were the best in the area, based on four different quotes from like businesses. Product and service knowledge (e.g., tire types, brands, characteristics, use, and vehicle suspension system issues and fixes) was impressive. Staff were straight-talking and accommodating (no gimmicks or pressure). The facility was spacious and well-equipped, with a huge, clean waiting area having complimentary beverages and inexpensive homemade and vending machine snacks. Mar-Bar is customer-oriented place. My new tires and vehicle handling are great. I plan to take my other car to Mar-Bar as soon as new tires are needed. I am very pleased and will be a repeat customer.

Im not saying you should expect this, but I was the jerk rolling in at 345pm without an appt on a Friday with a real problem. Joe was extremely courteous and immediately squeezed me in, if not just to get the car up on the lift to see what the problem MIGHT be. they found a sheared off or fallen out caliper mounting bolt! ruined the inside of my nice rim. they were thorough - again, despite my walk in, panicked arrival - and checked the other caliper bolts... and found them ALL to be loose. Ill say It here, Criswell did the front calipers under a year ago. not sure Im going back there. they also informed me of my brake wear/life left on my lads and rebalanced my tire. the hanging caliper literally scraped the wheel weights from the inside of my nice aluminum rim. I was charged $42 and some change. Kudos to Zack in the shop for handling everything so well and explaoning my problem directly and to the point. they got me back on the road in no time. they turned a bad experience I was having into a good experience. great service still exists! theyve got my business, thats for sure!
