Im sorry that they are closing cuz I loved shopping there. They had the best quality items at a reasonable price. Im surely going to miss them.

Great sales. But when I was there, there were only two people working in the store and one was on register and I needed help. So the lady on register called for someone to come assist me. Also the store does not carry Izod pants for boys. I prefer the Izod brand over the Arizona brand but I settled and bought the Arizona brand because I did not want to drive to Lancaster. Nor did I want to order and then have my son try them on.

9/5/20 sadly they are closing. As of today still a good selection and at least 60% off.

The management staff is awesome at this location. When it came to placing an online order due to not having the item in the store the customer service was out of this world. The manager helped placed the order, followed up with me and called me when it was available for pickup.

The prices were reasonable and my daughter found a homing coming dress for good price.... So Id rate it ten stars since she found a dress at a great price....

The cashiers and staff are always helpful in finding what I need and are always pleasant. Ask about their rewards program or sales, and you could get a coupon or discount. JCPenneys is the main store I shop at for clothes and gifts.

I went in to use a reward card. I was greeted at the door which was nice. They had the clothing on sale that I was looking for. The girl at the register was very nice and friendly. Over all a great shopping experience.

On Sunday the store was only going to be open for 8 more days. Mostly clothing is left. Losing this store is devastating to the Hanover area.

Unknowledgable cashier. Couldnt even figure out how to scan 25 percent off coupon or figure out how work the 40 off of 40. Very frustrating. She then refused to get a manager after being asked multiple times. Rolling her eyes and blatant refusal to help.I finally just left my order on counter and left after over 30 minutes of her messing around and refusing to get help. So I recommend if your going to the JCPenneys in Hanover dont go in the evenings.

I love this store. Clothing is classy. Sephora is right there. When coupons come in the mail you can make out like a bandit. Drawbacks, a few times I have purchased clothing with sewing issues from manufacturers and at times the wait to check out can be a little long. But staff is always friendly.

Bought 2 sweaters and some clinque only spent $40. It was great

Not a good experience today. First waited in line forever because 3 employees all helping 1 customer because they couldn’t find a price for an item. Then I had 2 shirts that I got off clearance rack, one had tag but the price part was torn off. It rang up at 8 cents. I was told they couldn’t sell me that item because of that. ( really???). Then another item I had should have been 40% off based upon the signs. Nope they told me it wasn’t, it was full price. They weren’t nice about any of it! I left without purchasing anything! Don’t wanna sell me something, not going to buy any of it then! Maybe the employees need a course on customer service!

Placed an online order 5 weeks ago. Havent received a call telling me the order was in.. Called them and found out that the merchandise is sold out...I will see a credit on my account within 24 to 48 hours, This was Friday, well its Tuesday and still no Credit. Im not going to pay for something that was never shipped. No phone call, Nothing... Had to call them 4 times. Phone just rings and rings. Hung up and redialed again, then was cut off. This is the last time I will be purchasing anything from Penneys. Hmm and why do I shop at Amazon.

This is by far the worst JCPenney that Ive ever been to. The selection is rubbish and what they do have is not organized in any logical manner. Mens slacks are located in various SEPARATE locations just because theyre different brands. Two of the associates were having an in depth conversation completely unrelated to work while customers were wandering past them, obviously needing assistance. Only one person was on the register for the entire store so when I had an issue with checking out, I felt like I was holding up everyone else. To top it all of, dont even thinking of trying to use the 20% off coupon for using your credit card while trying to pay a portion of your purchase with a gift card. I understand thats a corporate issue, but it just added that little extra something to the visit to push you over the edge. I do feel bad because I lost my cool a bit while checking out and realize he was getting shafted by his manager and co-workers.

Always find something new! Almost everything I wear and use in my home, is from JCP. Staff is most helpful and am pleasantly greeted.
