Decent store, great staff, prepared fruit selection was slim, but regular produce was good selection. Not thrilled with the arrangement of aisles, but I give it a 4/5

Nice clean stores and easy to find everything. However there was one employee who ruined my whole shopping trip, when I got to the register with my items and an employee, Bob or Bobby I think; was saying that older people ( which I am ) are useless if they are not employed. I was so shocked this was so offensive for so many reasons and I will not be returning.

Not a big place by normal US standards, produce is good but a little limited. The selection of vegetarian prepared food is a little lacking. No obvious problems though.

Went to shaws in Hanover mass. Thought all shaws were same cat litter they all ty had high price large bag as and box cat treats the temptions brand small bags only two kinds and everything was on top shelf couldnt reach them so I didnt get any for my cats very disappointed in that one store I use one in marshfield an never have a problem only went to Hanover was close at time and being new years Eve didnt no what time ed they closed

I bought a VISA Gift card at SHAWS IN HANOVER MASS for a XMASS GIFT. 200$. I was told after research that I had gotten Wrong Type of Visa card. So went to HANOVER SHAWS, talked to, if you want to call this person a MANAGER, BLEW ME OFF. Just wanted to switch to right card. I was told CANt do exchange. You would think in this day and age it would not be a PROBLEM especially aStore like SHAWS OF HANOVER. SO I use that store faithfully, now Everyone I kn ow, I will be telling them this and like my self will NOT USE shawsinHANOVER again. Shame that a transaction to them that small, but BIG to mecant be made right. For Me and Hopefully all I tell of this minor transaction for them will make it any and ALL of those stores. REALLY MAD!!

I get my cbd from boston hempire which is right up the road then head over to Shaws for a great selection and excellent service!

I never fully appreciated Shaws until my sister started calling me with their specials. Of course, our Plymouth location closed so I have to go to the Hanover store to take advantage of their low prices! This store has been renovated and the Produce Department is pristine!I could only give them 4 stars today because they were out of quite a few sale items - probably no fault of their own since Stop & Shop is on strike and no one wants to cross the picket line. Thats double bad news for Stop & Shop because, not only are they losing the business, it may be permanent once people shop Shaws!

Recently upgraded super-market. Sale prices can be good deals but too often jack-up prices on buy-one-get-one-free. Most items competitively priced either other local supermarkets.

Best place to get fresh meats and seafood and veggies

Limiting customer during busy times, safety is important during these times.

Pleased to find curry paste. Reasonable international section. Better than Stop & Shop. Do not like U program. Shouldnt have to work so hard to get deals. Too time consuming.

I have been a Shaws customer for over 30 years, prefer their meats, cold cuts and prices. Wish I could say the same about the deli and checkout experiences. I have expressed my concerns in the past but sadly I see no improvements. Deli has a ticket system yet its either empty or they arent bothering, leaving we customers to figure out Whos Next? Hello, not my job, having to worry if I am cutting in front of one of the other 5 customers waiting.Dont pack my grapes at 500 dollars a pound or my fresh rolls with heavy cans and bottles so they can be squished. Dont pack my gallon of milk that has already begun to sweat with my cardboard box of cereal or crackers. Could I go thru self checkout, sure, but at 150.00 plus, why do I have to do that too?....and they continually have trouble with those self checkout registers. Wish Shaws would take these concerns more seriously, you would think they would with all the competition out there.

I went for the second time today to Shaws in Hanover. Should have learned better from my first time. The cashiers both times were very rude. The deli counter staff also rude too. Prices are way too expensive. Big Y and Stop and Shop are cheaper. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is the fish counter staff very nice both times.

Worst Shaws staff is rude and very slow to respond i bought some flowers and some cat litter it was broken and torn open cat litter coming out and person that was at register it took 3 times to get his attention then front store person took her sweet time and getting some one to get another Bag that was also torn open all they did was tape it up took one of the Baggers 20 min to get a new bag a lot of other Employees are just plaine rude in this store only reason i come in that 3-30 -18 to get some flowers and cat litter store needs to have Employees retrained to show respect and not have the i don,t care....attitude and treat costumers like they want to be treated or they will shop else ware like stop and Shop the prices are way to high Market Basket is so much nicer and lower prices and they welcome you to the stores like your family if i choose to come in again and they are ruder the corporate OFFICE WILL GET A PHONE CALL OH and i use the electric shopping cart cause i have problems with my feet and ankles and have problem walking and some of the Employees question me why i use the cart
