They have a wooden shed KR 700 I believe that has a galvanized Foundation that is great for when you live in Southeast Louisiana. Dont have to worry about the wooden foundation getting waterlogged or riding out sooner then steel foundation will. Great option. Glad I found it. Getting installed in the next 8 weeks. They a little back logged with installation.
I visited this Home Depot ahead of Hurricane Ida, looking for a hand-crank weather radio. One associate sent me to look for them on a certain aisle, but I didnt see them there at all. I then stopped another associate, named Dante, who remembered noticing an end cap full of them recently. He walked with me to the front of the store where he recalled seeing them, and although we didnt find them there, he continued to hunt for them with me, until he spotted a single radio sitting in an unusual place. What phenomenal customer service! I then asked Dante about wire cable that I needed to repair the lock mechanism for my trucks cargo slide. He was unsure of exactly what I needed or where to find it, but he introduced me to the hardware department manager, Robert. Robert guided me to the wire cable, helped me select the appropriate size and material, and picked out the ferrules I would need to complete the job. He was also very friendly and accommodating, despite the mad onrush of customers preparing for the storm. Dante and Robert exemplify what customer service at Home Depot should be. Keep up the great work!
Great supply but not enough personnel to run cash registers to get people out at a reasonable rate. Lumber prices still sky high. White male forklift operator called a lady I know a b1+ch . The place has some decent people but it needs some leadership to step up and fire and hire.
Run of mill Home Depot and precious little stock presumably resulting from hurricane Ida. Seems corporate people basking in comfort of Atlanta, GA would be hustling to support, resupply and restock stores in stricken area. Makes me wonder if corporate people support stores and the customers, or do the stores support the corporate office.General observation of Home Depot stores in general, the inventory management system is broken, no clue of what is actually in stock or where the stock is located. Seems, Home Depot inventory management has entered into the vortex of the death spiral.
Not the best location. Layout of the store is odd and some departments seem a bit small compared to other locations. Shelves were not full and starting to show some gaps. Cashier was super friendly. One final note that is beyond Home Depots control. The amount of inconsiderate people driving thru their parking lot at high speeds and honking at people unloading passengers at the entrance is ridiculously high. Beware!
Went for herbs and all the accoutrements...staff was friendly and I found everything quickly. I did self check out and it went fast. We will be back.
Still trying to keep stock up to date after ( Ida ) . Popular items leave as quick as they come in .
Love shopping there always well stocked and always surprised with a bargain not expected in almost each dept. Top quality and excellent customer service.
Staff was very helpful. Not too crowded
Not 1 mask being worn in this location.I was told by a employee ( how didnt have a mask on) that people can do what they want. I guess that includes spread a deadly virus. Wearing the mask is mandate. I will no longer shop here. I guess Lowes it is.We spend alot in this covid hot spot.
Cashier was nice. But there was no synthetic felt available so I couldnt get what I came for..I was able to purchase some generator oil, a new fan and some trash bags so it wasnt a complete wasted trip..but the most important item I needed was not available and no one around to help really
The customers need to be more considerate of the staff and the staff needs to do a better job in terms of doing their tasks.Customers can be rude and dont respect employees space. Their is a plexiglass that separates the customers from the employees and despite that they cross borders. Additionally there was an incident in which a customer threatened to shoot another. I think their needs to be some sort of regulation about customers behavior because that is outrageous. 😠Some workers slack and dont do what theyre supposed to do. Personally, there is one diligent person who does what they are supposed to do along with handful of others, but when that person is not there, the whole team falls apart and thats not acceptable. If this store wants profit and just a happier workplace, they need to do better!Other than that, shopping itself wasnt necessarily an issue.
Thanks to karen at harahan store. Amazing service, give this lady a raise
Great place to get what you need. Very respectful management.
The entrance to the parking lot is inconvenient. All traffic is directed through the four-way stop next to Starbucks, rather than having a large entrance onto Citrus by the Joe Yenni building. There is almost no landscaping in the parking lot. It’s a barren concrete wasteland that looks God awful. I live here and I like my town to look nice. Home Depot can afford to plant some shrubs, and ironically has everything in the store to do so.They’re seriously lacking in lumber carts. They’ve either gotten rid of them, or the carts are used by employees for various reasons. On more than one occasion I’ve had to settle for a flat cart. Plywood and drywall take up four feet of isle space using these, and it’s a terrible inconvenience when buying various other items in addition to anything so large. The location attracts a lot of trashy people. This leads to inconsiderate customers, speeders in the parking lot, cars left unattended in the loading area, open packages on the shelves, and general disorder and chaos. This is, by far, the busiest location in the area. It’s also the smallest. Home Depot still crams as many items into the store as other locations. In summation: go to any other location or Lowe’s. The Elmwood location is garbage.
Great place to shop anything and everything you could possibly need
Good enough supply but how about hiring a cashier. We stood in line for 30 minutes!!
Would usually give this place 4 stars, however yesterday I went here for some things I need for a few projects. The employee in Hardware was not only rude and short but he apparently needed help. He was overrun with customers and attempted to call for help a couple times to help ease the crowd that was needing help. To no avail help did not show up. Shame on management for not taking the initiative to ensure these popular departments are assigned at least 2 if not three employees. Cant tell me they dont have the resources. There was workers in the parking lot with customers and inside leaned up against the customer service area. Sorry to be so vague but shelves arent regularly stocked (talking about the matching sku #s clearly visible on the upper racks) and dont even think about using a ladder to access it to retrieve the material to save the employee from having to do it. Aside from this Covid mess this store is usually on point but lately they are starting to get complacent and I cant help but question the management. I do refer this store but hope it gets back on track soon.
They do a good job at returns.
Had what I needed and had a smooth checkout.
My visit was horrible, on 09/02 I purchased a generator and a few other items total $1000 but needed to return because I couldnt deal with all the carbon cases. Well the service rep was rude, and unprofessional we waited 20 minutes in the sweltering heat only to be skipped by men she was flirting with. Im never coming here again.
This HD seems to have everything! Well stocked. Friendly employees. Clean environment. Good prices.
Look on line, find what youre looking for with aisle and bin location. Simple and quick
Home Depot employees were great and kind. They accepted a return on a damaged product I bought and the service lady said she was sorry about the problem. Then I got help buying a undamaged product plus I bought some more items. The guy that helped there was also kind and helpful. The cashier was also kind and helpful when I went to purchase everything getting a cart for me to take everything out to my car.It was a great experience and service like this should show us why we should give them more business. A reward for doing good.
Under the circumstances of hurricane disaster recovery stage in the area they were very well staffed and had more inventory than I was used to seeing in situations like this.
Didnt have flea traps and off mosquito repellent high priced
Only one cashier at pro desk on a Saturday morning! - then she disappears for ten minutes...
Hope this is the last time i walk in after a renovation, pick a floor layout and be happy, please
Young man named Devin was super helpful . Great shopping experience.
Love home depot.
Cannot stand that there are so limited full service check outs
No cashiers working while workers are standing and sitting around talking, rude worker states you go stand in line over there about 20 people in line so you can service yourself.
About out of everything we needed
I purchased several items at very good prices, and the two employees who assisted me were very professional and helpful 👍🏽😊👍🏽
The worst place there is Thieves!!! I worked for them and still haven t been paid!! Sad but true I will own the place when its all said and done..
Good service with a smile.Take care of your lock problems
A guy from the plumbing department was too busy stocking shelves to show me the parts I needed. Poor customer service.
Has its ups and downs but ultimately gets the job done.
I used the curbside service. It was fast and the man was very courteous. I got my order within an hour or two after I ordered it online!
Friendly staff! Always have what I need.
I like this Home Depot. The employees are very nice and very helpful. Currently they have lots of plants and vegetables, and all you need for your garden
Always have what I need wish the manager of this store would teach the manager of Chalmette store how to stock merchandise. I come from St. Bernard Parish to get whit I need. Its worth the drive.
Always has what I need at a great price
My very impromptu rushed visit could have been a nightmare, but Mr.Oscar was delightful, pleasant and very patient with me. I truly appreciate it!
HD is great. Some stores are better than others. But in general, its a big box store with easy returns and easy check outs.Order online. Pick it up at your convenience. Why not. Store is usually clean. Associates are usually helpful. You will rarely find experts but realize this, its a BIG BOX store. Chains have their advantages, lower prices and in stock items (compared to smaller mom-and-pop stores).Update: shout out to the lady (Ronnie) cutting my blinds three times (1/2021). Nice. Helpful.
Bought indoor plants.....they r surviving...
Called the Harahan store looking for a specific push cart. Miss Anna was great in explaining to me that some items online are not kept in the stores, as this particular brand was. She then proceeded to look through what she did have in store, and then read off the SKU so that I could look it up online to see if it would fit my needs. Was able to find something close to what I was looking for and asked her to hold it for me, as I was enroute to the store. I was able to purchase the item and complete the job I had to finish on time.
Kevin in the plumbing department was very helpfulIrene at. The pro desk was prompt very nice and helpfulMy experience is always positive at the Ellwood store
The product availability is not correct in the computer vs the store. Unnecessary trip to the store.
Mostly friendly staff. One employee was rather flippant. If what I wanted was available elsewhere, thats where I would shop.
Harahan location. Older gentleman behind the Paint counter was as slow as molasses on a cold day. Nearly 10 minutes before he even acknowledged that two people were clearly waiting at the order section of the counter. He was completely focused all upon putting cans of paint into the Shaker machine.
Love the Home Depot!!! Buy stock in this company. Big fan.
Home depot is a place I can look forever and spend lots of money. I love DIY projects and changing my home periodically, thats the outlet for all you will ever need, great selections and good pricing. Always a pleasure.
Good people work here, but I dont think the management is up to par. Not very good at keeping the shelves stocked even though the product is in the store.
Isles seem small and packed, store is often a little dark. Good selection though.
I always get great service at this location. Kuddos!
Well stocked. Much easier to use the app to find things than track down an associate and hope they know what they are telling you is accurate
Love this place!
Such a big place to get lost in! Everything is very orderly and in place and it looks like a Museum!
Meh box store blues
Knew what I wanted, found items, self ckecked out, easy.
No problems .....
Order microwave two months ago still hasnt come in keeps getting pushed back with delivery very frustrating
Nice store with helpful ppl
Has my back & front yard... Looking good 🤗😃
Great place. Better prices than Lowes, in my opinion. Wish they sold an 18 × 30 air filter though. I wish anyone sold that size air filter, so that I wouldnt have to make my own.
I never manage to come here without finding things to buy that I hadnt initially intended to purchase. Thats never a bad thing!
I know that this is a busy time of year, but customer service to help find items is part of an associates job and should not be obviously annoyed by being asked for direction.
Easy in and out. All safety protocols followed. Will be returning my item due to it not fitting.
Online ordering with this store is an absolute joke. I could have gone and grabbed my items and gone through the self check (all they have now) in about half the time. Once they finally acknowledged that I existed, the person behind the desk pointed to the other side of the store and told me my items were down there by the pro desk What good does it do to have an online order pickup desk if you have to go to the opposite end of the store to get your own items? From there, I finally found my items, grabbed them, and walked out of the store as if I was invisible again. Noone asked me for my receipt or anything. The moral.of the story here is if you need something from home depot, just go to the store and grab what you need from the shelf. Walk with purpose out the door and voila! Self service without the added cost of paying for it.
Pretty standard home Depot. Self check out available.
Loved the plants and flowers! The variety is Superior!
Did not like Home Depot. Could never find replacements or parts for items we purchased in the past when needed. Not professional staff at times. The young ladies may be gone now but, some were too friendly.
Good. A little different layout than Im used to. Helpful staff. They had most of what I needed.
Helpful, got everything we needed for the job
Stank attitudes from a couple of employees wasnt my fault that they were having a bad day
Friendly staff. Well stocked. Floor marked for six feet distance between customers, Covid-19.
Good garden section
Stood in the appliance dept for 20 min without anyone coming to help. Need to work on that.
Its funny this Home depot has a vibe for some reason makes you want to ease on in. Might be might longing to move back to NOLA. 😀
We bought a grill online, and when it arrived it had been damaged in transit. Customer service was amazing. They immediately called us back after reporting the damage online and offered several fair options to make up for it. Ended up getting a rebate for 20%, which was great since the damage was cosmetic. Great service!
Awsome customer service staff is wonderful curbside service awsome
Clean. Friendly, helpful staff.
Great Curbside service
Great. No problems. Helpful employees and check out personal.
I got the help I needed. The people who were working there were super friendly.
Everything I needed.
The employees here are rude and unwilling to help you like youre bothering them
I bought a new lamp shade and a new lamp pull chain.
Good service, the people there are very helpful and the store is laid out in a very organized way
It was a wonderful place to shop
Always stocked and items are available
If you know how to shop you already know
They dont sell bird seed at the Clearview Store.
You know what youre gonna find here. It will be here
Home Depot’s sell a lot of great stuff, but had a bad experience where someone never bothered to construct our Traeger grill and the app would tell us it was constructed even though it wasn’t.
Very helpful floor associates. Always a pleasant experience shopping here.
