Sooooo many shelves empty, I had to get stuff from the top backstock myself often. Lots of workers standing around or stopped talking on their air pods about PERSONAL stuff… while blocking aisles?!?!The parking lot is FILLED with carts everywhere, because corrals are full (Be careful parking!!)2-stars, because they have a lot fast self-checkout lanes which I appreciate.

Great place to shop clean well st of ck shelves in each dept. If you dont see something you need you can ask any team person in area who will immediately ck stock and with a smile that person is bring out a box not just the one you need they go above making sure your experience is above your expectations,this is true in each dept. What credit to the management it filter from the top down to all depts.

Store doesnt open on time. I can see a few employees wandering aimlessly, trying not to make eye contact with pregant woman standing in the cold. They could have atleast come and told me the sign was wrong

Everyone was very nice. Took a little bit longer than I would have liked. They werent able to get off the back two tires. So I have to go someplace else to get those tires installed.

The shelves look like people are preparing for an impending hurricane. They have had entry doors on one half perpetually closed which should be a fire hazard if it isnt already. But more than half the shopping carts are housed on the closed side.

I really like the Raceland supercenter.

I never had to stand in a line to get into the store. That was a different experience. Otherwise it was fine. And yes there is semi truck parking in the back.

Crowded today.very few staff to assist patrons.No baskets available for incoming customers,but many in pkng lot.Good prices on dairy.price on canned biscuits 15¢more than what marked on shelf. Obviously having a time keeping up .Overall good experience.⚜️

I called walmart to register a gift card. I called the number on the back of the card. I gave them all the info and they still said i had to go on line to register the gift card. I told them that i called and gave them all the info. They still say i had to go online. Went on line 4 times and it should not go online. The fifth time it went on line. All of this took over an hour to do. I was so frustrated with the person on the phone. The gift card was a birthday present for my birthday. I was so frustrated at the while situation. That is why I gave Walmart a 1 on the while situation.

Self checkout isnt all its seen to be. What needs to be realized by Us, the masses, is that We are not getting paid to do what Wal-Mart was paying an employee to do. Can I please be compensated for being both a cashier and bag -boy. And along with working another job after My regular one, I am being scrutinized by the self check out machine as a possible thief. I 🙏 that I dont forget to scan something.

The website states its hours as 6am to 11pm, but when I arrive at 7pm on Sept 24 I was greeted at the door by an employee yelling (yes, yelling) CLOSED, CLOSED. What a queer way to operate a business! Ill bet that old Sam Walton is turning over in his grave.

Friendly people in the pharmacy. My former wall mart had the rudest employees in the pharmacy after 5 yrs I switched to harahan completely different attitude. Nice efficient. Trouble in self check out the lady could not have been nicer.

There was a young lady (with red hair) in electronics that exceptionally well with assisting me with my phone selection. Even with there being turbulent weather outside and less than. An hour before closing. I would love to contact corporate on her behalf, I just dont know her info. Just awesome.

The walmart 2 walmart is not worth it I got back to Florida and and the money I have sent to a friend she never got it I call and call no body pickup the phone I have gone to different walmarts and they tell me that I have to go back to Louisiana to claimed get the refund even though I have the reference #

Not enough registers open for the number of customers. However they have 4 receipt/cart checkers as you go out the door. If you use the 4 checkers to open registers, you could do away with checkers and self checkout.

Always here for quick pick ups. Usually crowded up until like 8 pm.

It was awful. Long line outside in the sun. Walmarts door workers should check to make sure elderly and children allowed in due to the heat. Only 4 cashiers open. No fresh vegetables, no fruit, no meat, no eggs, no milk. Should have gone to Rousse.

I showed at the location on Dunvall and was quite annoyed at the door greeter at my exit after making my purchases. She didnt stop the customer before me, but stopped me. She had the audacity to ask me what was in my cart after taking my receipt to review my transactions. Heres a tip, if you dont know products and clearly cant read-dont take my receipt and ask me whats in my cart...just let me go because you irritate paying customers with BS questions and lack of knowledge.

After departments closing due to virus the store stayed open not only jeopardizing employee but customers. Very upset about the decision that was made!

Stopped by got sum ol roy dog bones. Would give a 5 star but all the boxes were smashed up, though my dogs didnt care at all, they munched away on them as usual. 🐕

I’m very happy with my Walmart experience at this location. Dependent on the time of month, of course, inventory can be quite picked over. Also not the biggest fan of the limited cashiers available. I know it’s more convenient for self checkout, just can take awhile if you actually need to use the cashier line.

Easy in and out and they got modern needs.

If you ever find yourself coming here to buy electronics, good luck. They rarely ever have anyone staffed there and when they do they dont know what youre talking about.

People that work at Walmart sometimes are very nice n helpful but some catch attendees n whip there neck when you ask them a question. The hair cutting place there is horrible from experience. They destroyed my hair. Walmart employees need to be a lil nicer when people address them at the store

Let’s just start by saying I waited by 30 minutes in self checkout for the Frontend lead Shantell to check a price on luggage to come back and tell me that the person in that department told her he told me that it was $79.00 but it’s not on sale anymore and I have to pay $99.00 for it or leave it…. after A’donte the self checkout cashier had the nastiest attitude and did absolutely nothing to help Me with checking the price….. this is the worst Walmart I have ever came to and I will not be going back again

Trying to seek assistance with getting a cell phone which there was a brochure displayed for. Worker said, We dont got it! I asked her why there was a brochure out and she didnt answer me. Clearly did not want to help me. Worker was very RUDE and I will not go back to the Harahan location again because of her!

Went to find something, they did not have what I was looking for, but found something else. Did self check out was perfect.

They need to have cashiers working. I did it all. Saved the wal mart corporation money by checking myself out and bagging my own groceries. I think that is pitiful. Do they realize how much merchandise is stole in self check outs! I watch it every time Im there. Recently watched a woman scan only half the items that went into the bags. Usually not scanning the higher priced items. If corporate execs think saving money by not hiring cashiers is a smart decision, they are first class morons. What that one woman stole that single time would have paid a weeks salary for a cashier.

This place has the most personable cashiers and they rarely have long lines. Things stay relatively stocked compared to other Walmarts in the Metairie New Orleans area.

I dont expect a lot from a Walmart and the employees that work there but this location seems to always be a hit or miss mixed bag. One day you go and the employees are friendly, store is clean, and everything is stocked but you can go back the next day or later that day and youll swear its not the same place.

Its Walmart. Get what you need. Pick-up service is very convenient for busy moms. Always friendly people packing the car.

I always shop this particular Walmart when Im in New Orleans visiting. My shopping experience was great as usual. Things didnt get bad until I went to check out. First the cashier ask me to tell the guy behind me she was close after him. Then later the front end supervisor ask everyone if wed like to go to U-SCAN, everyone in line refused. Then about 5-10 min later we were told we had to go to U-SCAN because she only had one cashier. Supervisor said shed help at U-SCAN, all she did was scan my water and went stood in an area where she watched me scan my groceries. I wouldve been ok scanning my groceries, I just didnt like the Supervisor attitude when telling me, not asking me to scan my own groceries. Not to mention the cashier looked upset. So because the company wont give them more help, I guess lets treat the customers bad so they dont come back. WELL I WONT BE BACK. I know Walmart wont go out of business, but Ill be happy spending my money where I have a choice of using U-SCAN or Cashier.👎

Im just not a fan of supercenters or how packed they usually get, so I dont go often. But Jefferson hey location is usually clean, well stocked, Ive had no issues with any staff, and the checkout the last few times I went was fairly quick and painless
