Robears was amazing! Great place to get snowballs! While they do sell ice cream we only had snowballs. I had a mix of passion fruit and orchid vanilla. My wife had cherry and lemonade.At this point, I have to make a confession. As a local, we are a bit obsessed with snowballs. We tend to get them at least one per week and make an effort to try various locations throughout the city.With that said, Robears have my FAV orchard vanilla in the city. Cherry, lemonade, and passion fruit are all good as well and on par with other locations. The orchard vanilla is amazing! Highly recommend!The cost is also great! For two large snowballs, one with a cream flavor, it was $5.75. That is hard to top.

As good as it gets for New Orleans style snowballs - may be a line most visits but worth the wait. Secret to best versions: type / quality of shaved ice & syrups. Robears has high grades for both!

Love this place! Best ice & best chocolate snowballs (with Evaporated milk)! So glad they are back open. Been going there for over 50 years and it never disappoints. Yummy.

There is no signage telling you that they are cash only. Luckily, we didnt have to stand in line too long to find that out. The lady at the counter was none too amicable about it though. Not sure well bother to go back. NOLA has no shortage of sno-ball stands and ice cream joints to try.

Excellent Stuffed Sno-Ball as someone had recommended at the local KOA to try. Customer service was super friendly and top notch. The gentleman explained the machine and process to my 10 y.o son and I being out of towners.Ice machines are made by a local company and recommended we stop by and see their displays while visiting.

Robears is a great snowball place to get malts, milkshakes, sundaes, soft-serve ice cream, and of course, snowballs. The snowballs are really tasty, and a great treat to eat and drink to cool down during the hot summer. They have quite a great variety of different flavors, and their service is always friendly. :)(Apologies on behalf of my poorly-taken photo of my snowball.)

First snowball stand in my years of living that doesn’t accept debit cards. I’ve never experienced this from living in Houma to New Orleans. JUST FYI, I WAS TURNED AWAY BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE CASH. In this day and age, most don’t carry cash for more than obvious reasons.I went to Sauve snowballs and sweets stand down Hickory instead.

They put alot of syrup and condensed milk in there sno-ball. Friendly staff and decent prices

Been going here since I was a child. Best place to get ice cream during the days to beat the heat! However, it is very off that they’re currently closed, despite it being Spring (when they usually open back up)...The only thing I ever order is the Oreo Crunch (but with chocolate ice cream instead of the default vanilla) & that’ll never change

I have loved Robears for as far back as I can remember. My favorite is Blue Hawaiian, love vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate. Also love the hot tamales and stuffed artichokes. 😋😋😋

Excellent snowballs. Be prepared to wait in line, it is always packed. Super reasonable prices ( a buck for a small when you just need a quick hit).Wish they had a better parking and maybe a covered place to order.The “Blue Hawaii” coconut, bubble gum and cream is delicious.Now just get the SnoWizard flavors “Toasted Marshmallow” and Red Velvet cake and you all will be perfect on my book!I’m giving 5 stars because of the snowballs and service, but the physical place (lack of parking and lack of a covered ordering line)Would tempt me to give it 4.Try ‘me, you will enjoy!

Snowballs are amazing. The prices are fair and they have a wild selection to choose from. Their sugar free selection is nice too. There is a line but its worth the short wait as the workers are super fast.

Robears is the KING of snowballs in Louisiana. From their deliciously rich malts, shakes, snowballs, to their stuffed artichokes and tamales, there is literally something here for everyone! The Banana shake and Oreo crunch are both unbelievable. If youre craving the best, its definitely worth a trip to Harahan!

One the better of many many array of snoballs know the area. Been around for 50 years and there is reason why. Super soft ice, nice strong flavors, and great selection other stifyf besides snowballs. My favorite snowball is the vanialla ice cream stuffed with strawberry cheese cake. Ro-bears also have a ton of flavors and some sugar free options as well (I believe they have strawberry, grape, ice cream and wedding cake). Harahan staple and super quick. They do sometimes have a long line but they keep it moving.
