Unprofessional, rude, unwelcoming staff. I liked their Esplanade Mall location, but it closed. This location needs to fire all staff and hire people who want to work and have customer service skills.
Decent sales staff. All very friendly the ring quality i would say is not the best my ring cracked shortly after having it and same to my wifeโs ring and a diamond fell out. Just be careful.
Great customer service, the consultants arent pushy but are willing to listen to what you are looking for and willing to help you find the best options available.

Very friendly staff that took care of my wife. Brought her ring to get sent off to get cleaned and inspected and have them take out some links on watch that we bought there. I was very satisfied with our experience . The staff was not only friendly but also efficient with helping my wife size her watch . Thank you to the staff here at Kays harahan location .
The employees are so unprofessional and not very well trained. The quality of Kay Jewelers standards has definetly decreased from years ago!
The only reason I am giving this location 3 stars instead of 1 is because the assistant manager stepped up and made a piss poor situation better. I brought my engagement ring in to be sized and have a stone replaced. I wasnt exceptionally happy about having to have a stone replaced, I have had the ring 5 days, and the fiance picked it up from the store less than 14 days ago. I went in, and a pleasant associate started to help me. She was struggling to find the service plan in the system, and another associate stepped in to help. The second associate then proceeded to tell me he bought the ring used (he didnt, it was an online order). Her entire attitude was dismissive, and rude. The first associate then asked me if I owned a Pandora charm bracelet. Nope, not me. That belongs to his ex-wife. Way to make things awkward. She had the order open on the tablet in front of me, and I was able to see what he paid for the wedding set (which I didnt even know was a set until today). I also learned that Kay sent the wrong size ring to begin with! I was texting the fiance, since I was confused when the second associate said it was a used ring. He called the store, and the assistant manager stepped in. Thank goodness! She was able to fix an unrelated issue, and went so far as to see if she could get the ring MADE in the correct size, not just resized. The first sales associate was sweet, but lacked discretion. The second one was wretched to deal with, and I cant say it enough, the assistant manager saved the day. I doubt Ill be back to this location, but she managed to keep me as a Kays customer.
The sales woman didnt offer to show us anything we were looking for. I ended up going to jcpenney and buying my wife wedding ring.
The lapalco location jeweler is the worse.. apparently while resizing my ring.. the jeweler broke the head of my ring and has lied about it for the past 3 weeks. After calling the lapalco store multiple times I was told several different stores and 24 hours before I take pictures and a few days before my wedding I have NO RING!!! Ive been told multiple things regarding my ring and Im ready to just be done with the whole location..
I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT do business with this Kay. Poor quality service, employees are rude, jobs are not executed correctly.
Most of the time the customer service is lacking and rather unfriendly. Pretty disappointing compared to other locations.
