If you value your money and customer service do not come to this dealership I had an issue with a front windshield on my daughters brand new car they found was defective from factory .. they replaced it but they told me they were going to do it internally and they had people trained to do it …they went ahead behind my back and hired a local glass replacement company for cheap on their end and that company damaged my vehicle and had water leaks with rust a year later after install … I went out of pocket to fix the issue and when I confronted dealership they stonewalled me telling me they should have seen it first and now they cannot confirm or deny there was an issue with the glass even after I showed them photo evidence of the vehicle body being rusted 2019 CX 3 and video of the rust and the issue in their face … the owner himself Mr. Cardenas told me there’s nothing we can do. Their customer service has always been mediocre after the sale … phone lines always ring with no one you need available .. please stay away from here spread the word Cardenas as small as they are well they think of themselves before you and your money … I bought two cars within a year span totaling 70K and that didn’t matter ..I would bet 80% of their used cars they sell have rust under the front glass on the frame due to cheap windshield installsBeware !!!!!!!!

The receptionist Sandra was extremely professional and polite, she transferred me to Xavier, who quickly told me what service my car was going to need, how much it was going to be and offered to pick up my vehicle all the way in mcallen without charging extra. I had a great experience at Cardenas. I was looking into trading in a Mercedes C300 that I had purchased with another dealer in San Juan last year, that turned out to be a dud. I had taken the car in for service at Cardenas several times in the past year and always had great service with Steve. This last visit he suggested I may want to pull the trigger on that trade in. He personally walked me over and introduced me to the sales team. Xavier & Efrain took a lot of time with me to find the right vehicle and where extremely patient with all of my questions. They are an awesome team! I ended up purchasing a 2019 CLA 250 and financing with a bank that was not part of their network but did not have any issues with the purchase. Do not recommend this place at all worst place to purchase a vehicle they sold me a truck and after a month of having it it started to mess up, I’ve been taking it to get checked for the past 4 months I’ve had it and it’s always something new about it that is not working, they sold me garbage and yet I’m paying 500 a month for something that doesn’t work. The manager Jorge was rude by trying to force me to get a car he chose for me after I toldHim I didn’t like it for me.And now I’m stuckWith this truck that doesn’t work they didn’t want to help me with my problem. This dealership is always friendly and respectful to their customers, whether its service or sales, I have always had a good experience.

I only put one star because it won’t let me select none. Worse place and I I’ll make sure everyone knows. Do not send you wives alone because the people the work there always flirting with women, so they take advantage while Marines, Sailors, Airman and Soldiers are deployed. I called his boss but he didn’t know anything and came to find out that they are good friends. They both still married and they are having a relationship and everyone knows at the dealership and they don’t do anything about it. I guess my next step is to go higher and higher until someone listen what the problem is.

I took my car in to Cardenas to check the battery and they kept it for over a week. They charged me over $135 dollars because they placed it on the computer, apparently to check the battery. How crazy is that! Well, after I picked it up, I noticed the car acting funny and it wasnt a battery problem anymore. It doesnt shift right anymore and at stop lights, it turns off. I believe their mechanics swapped out some of my cars parts for old ones. Bottom line, I wouldnt trust this dealership!

I HAVE OWNED SEVERAL TOYOTAS AND ALSO OWN A LEXUS--THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE HARLINGEN TEXAS LOCATION.Recently purchased my mothers 2000 Avalon (which was kept in her garage)-with only 26,000 miles. Needed to drive the car from Harlingen Texas to San Antonio Texas. Took the in to make sure it was in good working order. Specifically asked them to check tires (including spare). Charge me $99 for this inspection and told me I needed more service in excess of $1000-(took my car to a local San Antonio dealer-said it was in perfect shape.)Had a flat the very next day, service truck said all tires were at 50psi (should be 32psi) and the spare was also flat. Service truck replaced a valve and filled the spare.Went back to the dealer and asked for a credit, since they did not do the service I requested. I was told the manager would call me back, never got call. Called 3 more times, never got a call back. Contacted credit card company and got a credit issued, now they want to charge me again.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE-DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP.
